ad up on the history of HIV/AIDS recently and contaminated blood from Haiti was part of the reason it spread so widely, and to otherwise no-risk people. I doubt they’re any safer these days even though they’ll say they are.

I am also seeing new tv commercials for HIV meds and they say they keep the disease "undetectable." Then they show men kissing and gross me out, but the point is, they advertise the disease becomes undetectable so does that mean they are just hiding their underlying HIV from other, unknowing people?

Dad still has a decent sized cable package, so we can usually find old B&W movies or other older stuff to watch. As old as he is, I'm thankful for it because it still gives him happiness to relieve "the good old days" Although, though there isn't the visual pornography as there is in modern content, some of the old B&W movies are every bit as sinful in story-line

I wish I could be a donor since I have a fairly rare blood type (B neg) but I couldn't get my weight anywhere near the minimum required.
My sons are donors, and I am proud of them and every healthy person who donates.
Donated blood and platelets plus the grace of God saved one of my son's lives.

I started donating when I was a teenager and didn't meet minimum weight, either. But I was in excellent shape and healthy, and they needed the blood so badly, that the doc signed off on it. Thereafter, no issue there because I had given before. In the Army, I showed my card with the previous donations and the Red Cross took it every time, generally without issue. There was one time, though, they gave me a hard time, but did take it, and readily took my then husband's. Me, no problem, but they were talking about giving him his back I had to drive us home

Baby Yoda, my understanding is the meds make the virus amounts so low as to be undetectable so others can’t contract it either. I don’t know how that works with blood donations though. If I’m remembering correctly I’m not elegible to give due to being on an immunosuppressive type of med, so I’d think those on HIV meds wouldn’t be eligible either. But since we live in clown world who knows!

Yeah, I’ve seen those commercials and they seemed more like propaganda than commercials. The guys looking at each other suggestively and other incidents in the commercials made it seem to me to be more like propaganda. I think this gives the false impression that this lifestyle is OK as there is a drug to fix whatever consequences you get from the satanic lifestyle.

Growing up in the 90s a very popular tv show aimed at teens I used to watch a lot wasn't immune o this propaganda. I still remember vividly a scene where one of the main female characters became friends with a guy who she found out was dying of AIDS, which he had contracted from his 'partner.'
She said: "how can there be a disease that is so cruel that it kills two lovers who want nothing more than to just love each other?"

Thankfully my mom had already told me how God saw all that.
