Family Reunion

Since I 100% believe that the reunion with our loved ones who have gone home to be with the Lord is just 'RIGHTAROUNDTHECORNER' (LOL), I had a family reunion this past Saturday. I have 7 brothers and sisters. My husband and I worked really hard on getting this done for the past few weeks, with yard work, canopies, lighting, spraying for bugs, clearing out an area, food and cornhole (of course). The forcast was calling for 100% heavy storms between 1 and 6pm. Everyone was supposed to come at 1. I prayed to the Father and said, "Lord, they are calling for severe weather tomorrow but YOU control the weather and I just ask you to keep those storms away on Saturday. We have worked so hard and our house just isn't big enough for everyone to be comfortable. (30 people were coming!). The Lord showed me favor as we heard thunder in the distance but we only got a little sprinkle one time the entire day!!!!!! My heart was/is so grateful!! Praise God for His grace and favor!

I don't deserve it but boy, am I glad He sees me through His son's eyes. His mercy never ceases to amaze me.

Your post made me laugh! I needed that this morning. Working as an office manager can get frustrating sometimes. Good day ahead now.

Andy, it couldn't have been more perfect! Slight cloud cover that made it not hot and humid. 4 separate games of corn hole for hours. Fellowship with everyone. Everyone said they had such a great time, they want to do it again next month! LOLOL!

With satan trying to destroy families and time being short, I just felt like it needed to be done and I am so glad that all the sweat and hard work paid off. Only 2 brothers couldn't make it as one is in California and the other in Alaska. Although they both wanted to come.

I truly can't stop praising and thanking the Lord for it!
