Facebook Witness?

I got this idea this morning while watching the news, just posted it on FB:

Attention protestors! I am protesting the way powerful corrupt men took an innocent man's life! To help right this wrong, I ask others to join me in his name to take up his cause! His death should move us more than the death of any innocent man, because he spilled his blood in order to save us! He loved us even though the things we did wrong caused his suffering and death. HE was pierced for OUR wrongs, and HE was crushed for OUR guilt. He let them lead him to his death, he didn't even resist, and yet he is despised by many--how can this be? Why hasn't everyone believed the report of what he did for us? I know He made some pretty controversial claims, like, he could forgive sins and that he was God in the flesh, but he sure proved them, with the power to overcome death itself! He died and rose to justify the many--let us rally behind him in the cause of true justice, of righteousness! Who can become part of his movement? Any who believe him--who accept and agree with his words, that he is who he claimed to be, that they are indeed the guilty ones and that he has cleared their record--all those are accepted by him! Let's show our solidarity with him and our fellow protestors with the symbol of his death and his power over death--the cross! His teachings have been recorded and compiled, with many eye-witness accounts--don't forget to get your own copy and study it.

"Let's go!"
I tire of all the stuff on Facebook.

I mostly post Christian posts and try to comment in a Godly way sometimes.

I once heard it said that Facebook is the answer to the question God will have for people about their lack of prayer in the latter days.

Do any of you witness on Facebook? How so? What is effective? Any testimonies?
I copied/pasted this for you, written by Faithnhope on another thread:

It’s mostly an Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter feature. I believe Facebook got rid of it long ago. I find them useful for pulling people in to hear the gospel. I will use a hashtag that has lots of followers, for example: #nofear When I use that I get hundreds of views for my content. My content for that tag is alway Jesus! When I figured out which tags glorified the Lord and would bring people who would never pickup a Bible I started using them to share the gospel. It works too. I have had people message me about how to repent and be saved. The Lord has given us a wonderful opportunity to share him online, if we are called to.

Wow that's great!

I do witness on Facebook by posting Scripture every day and also some of the good articles from here. Occasionally I will write a short piece that I feel God is leading me to say. I have a somewhat limited group of friends on FB, a bit over 200 and some are saved, some aren't.

Some folks who do not comment on my posts tell me in person that they love the things I post and look for them every day. Some who I had no idea would agree, always click like or even love. I pray that God will lead me to post Scripture that will encourage the saved and convict the unsaved. Only once did FB contact me to say my Scripture was against their policy and they took it down. It was Scripture calling homosexuality an abomination.

I have a LOT of FB friends, mostly because all the different writing, Christian and low carb groups I belonged to over the years eventually became FB only. I try to just be a good example. I don't curse or post negative stuff, I post occasional faith memes or verses, I let folks know I write "sweet" / Christian romances if they are interested. I try to show caring and interest in people's problems. I hope that type of FB presence attracts people and who knows who I may affect.
