Do You Have "God Moments" to share?

I had a "God moment" last weekend. I learned a chorus years ago that we sang in my previous church and I have always loved. I have been selecting music for my present church for several years now and have thought of introducing this chorus but never have. For some reason it came to my mind Saturday--I was singing it Saturday and even still on Sunday morning before church. The words are Psa. 16:8,11.

When the sermon began and the text was announced, guess what it was? Psa. 16:8-11! I was flabbergasted! I felt like God was winking at me. It must be time to teach this song, so we will be singing it this Sunday!

Sometimes, God does give us a second chance to obey in something, especially when we're so repentant that we didn't obey the first time. Please let us know if the lady is working the day you will be picking up your Rx's. :hug
I went back and got stuck in the parking lot entrance for an hour security had to come. They were closed apparently and she was not there. I go back tomorrow so hopefully she’s there.

I'm so glad to be able to share a positive thing today. A relative of mine has historically not believed in the Rapture (a believer but felt the bible showed that the church would go through the tribulation). He was never adamant about it nor felt it was a salvation issue. I just kept quiet about the subject, not wanting to mess with a good relationship in Christ and as a relative, but waiting for a possible good opportunity to share (especially these last few weeks, not wanting total hopelessness to set in). I had been praying that he would be able to understand the Rapture so he could have more hope. This has gone on for years.

This week so far we have been missing each other with phone calls and texts. Today, as I was finishing up some work the words, 'Call such and such!' came through my mind several times. It dawned on me that perhaps God was prompting me. So, I texted this relative to see if he was available with no response. And decided just to go ahead and call directly.

This relative immediately answered and after a few words of greetings shared that he was just talking with a fellow Christian about the Rapture (in fact our conversations were overlapping)! He expressed a bit more interest indicating that he was open to the idea. So, I was able to share with him about Thessalonians, what it means, the difference between the Church and Israel and God's plan, one of them that the Church is not meant to go through the wrath to come, utilizing passages from Revelation, etc. I've been listening to a pastor's Rapture series and just getting to the end of it, so it was neat to just share what I've learned with the series and of course here at R.F. He was really interested and asked me to send him some more information. So, I've sent him some links that give some great explanations about the Rapture along with why other points of view don't fit scripturally.

This was really exciting and something I've been waiting for, for a long time! It's also so cool because I do believe that God prompted me specifically and in a time sensitive way to be a second voice for him pointing to the Rapture, right after talking with another person on the subject.

And, this is encouraging to me too, in that while the church is still here as things seem to be wrapping up on earth and closer to the Tribulation, there's still work to be done. God is still working and I'm keeping my eyes open for His direction and prompts.

I hope this encourages all of you too. :)

I love God moments! I actually kept a notebook specifically for these :)

I had 2 today....
1) I had listened to my church’s Thurs sermon about The year of the Lord’s favor...the pastor mentioned Isaiah 61:1 and Luke 4:18 where Isaiah prophesied about Jesus’ coming and then Luke when Jesus said the Scripture had been fulfilled through Him. Awesome stuff :) Tonight I watched the show Chosen (episode 3) with the children and when one of the children asked why He was here, He answered with Isaiah 61 Scripture :)

2) This God moment was just a special Holy Spirit moment. My 8 1/2yr old daughter was grumpy since her screen time ran out, and I was watching episode 4 of Chosen where Simon was fishing with no bites. Daughter was still grumpy so I had her sit with me to cuddle and I reminded her of the Bible story, so when the scene came up where Jesus tells Simon to put the net back in the water...she was all eyes lol. I’m such a moosh, she didn’t see me tear up with joy when Jesus made the nets overflow with fish, but she also was super teary and very emotional :) The Holy Spirit was definitely with us in that moment, I said “that’s our God!”.

just wanted to share this awesome moment :)

What a wonderful, wonderful idea!

Let me share. In short, something was wrong with my car, took it to the dealership and they gave me a brand new car until they could fix mine. (200 miles on it when they handed me the keys). 3 days later, my husband had a heart attack and was in the hospital that was an hour away for a month and a half. The dealership NEVER called me about my car. I was thanking God I had a dependable vehicle to go up and down the road to visit my husband and wasn't putting mileage on my own car. When he was able to come home, I called the dealership to inquire about my car. They forgot they had it! They were apologizing not knowing I wasn't upset at all, actually I laughed and asked, when could I have it back seeing how I had just put over 4,000 miles on that brand new car. God is good!!!!

How wonderful! Our God does provide for everything! Everything I say. He knows in advance what we need. I pray your husband is ok!

I was just thinking of a couple of my "God Moments" a while ago. You know, those favorite memories that just come back and give you a smile when you need one the most? Secular people call these "Kodak Moments" but we have a better perspective, yes?

One day I arrived at my son's house and the grandchildren were occupied doing their thing and did not particularly notice my arrival. As I walked into the family room, my 6 year old granddaughter was standing in the middle of the room watching her favorite movie "Beauty And The Beast" and she was so enthralled with the Beauty and the Beast dancing that she barely gave me a little glance. But her subconscious realized it was Grandma and she said "Grandma, would you dance with me?"

Several months later I was retelling her that story, and she did not remember it at all (that's how enthralled she was with the moment of being mentally inside that movie!) But I think it is safe to say I shall never forget that God Moment! I did not mind being my granddaughter's "Beast" for her magic moment!

Please share your God Moments with us all, if you are so inclined. We need some good things share and to ponder in these last days!

Please? "Dance" with me for a moment!
I have many "God moments" either if it's just from self reflecting, hearing a great sermon that felt like it was meant for me at the right timing, and in time of struggle and need, and even comedic moments aswell.

For all the God Moments that I've had, I can make it into a testimony; however I'll share a small one that I remember years ago when I used to drive before all my health problems.

One morning I had a Christian song stuck in my head while going about my morning routine before I was about to leave the house, I even had this one particular verse stuck in my head. When I was about to leave, I turn my car on and the radio station automatically turns on and had the song playing...at that very same verse that was playing in my head at the exact same timing in sync with my head as the car turned on...I then turned my car off for a second and spoke out loud and said to God, "Hahaha, very funny God! you have a great sense of humor!" and was laughing inside the car for a good few minutes just thinking how of all the songs, and at the exact verse lined up in sync with the song that was also playing on the radio at the exact timing I turn the car on was no coincidence. If anyone was with me, they would probably would've have been looking at me all bug-eyed like I'm a weirdo saying to me, "what's so funny?" Only with me saying something back like, "Oh, God just playing a silly prank on me". I always thought that maybe he wanted me to get a few minutes laugh because he knew that few extra minutes kept me from any potential danger on the road and also thought I could use a good laugh.

Although I have many "God moments" that are small and large no matter the circumstance, all of those moments are important reminders that he's always there for me and how powerful and mighty he really is.

When he comes, will he find faith? Luke 18:8
I believe he paved the way for my current job. The job I had been at for 16 years brought in a new supervisor who decided to eliminate my position and changed my position to something I did not like and he was a HORRIBLE, verbally abusive boss. HE made me take an Excel course at the community college, I resented him for that. That course not only made me more employable, I use Excel every day in my new job.

I have one again. Last Friday as I was driving home from work, as usual, listen to Christian talk radio, talk to the Lord and I said out loud I wonder what kind of world we are going into or to that effect. Then my eyes saw a truck in front of me, a Frontier truck. That's odd, I don't notice cars really. Then as I was turning into the street leading to my house, another Frontier truck. Yes, it's a new Frontier we are heading into. The Lord does have a sense of humor and a way of sometimes talking to us.

As my daughter and I were walking through the church parking lot, she randomly asked me “are tears sweat? What are tears made of?”. I don’t know lol

then about 40mins into the church service the pastor puts up a picture of 4 slides of tears and how different they look under microscopes depending on the circumstance of the tears. Mind blown lol

when I reminded my 8yr old of the question she asked, she had a huge smile on her face :)

I believe I had one this morning. I was contemplating about the election and why Trump didn’t win and I asked God why? Immediately the thought came to mind that it was due to Israel. There is no man strong enough on earth to stop any peace process. The land of Israel must not be negotiated or split. I said whoa! That was significant as I was not even thinking about Israel.

This likely doesn't qualify, but it was still comforting.

I have an herb garden. This past year, despite my guards, squirrels really got into some of them, decimating their favorites. I couldn't bring them in because one of my sweet but not so smart cats loves herbs and many are toxic to cats and dogs.

Well today it is sunny and 60 and a great day to be outdoors. I was walking outside the area of my garden when I noticed, my comfrey, my basil, my Greek oregano and my bbq rosemary sprouting wild.

The squirrels, in their greed, had dropped seeds while scampering away and these took root. In a season of loss, it was a powerful reminder to me of Joel: "I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten." It also made me think of all the seeds we drop in witnessing, wondering if they will come to fruition.

It was just a lovely visual of the reality of God and His goodness and did my heart good.

Im still in awe over this one from tonight!

I had a friend text me tonight about postpartum anxieties and depression (she’s living in a different state than I), so I text her encouraging things and gave her 2 Corinth 12:9a as that verse is helping me with my insecurities and low self-esteem right now.

after I got off with texting her, I “verse map” 2 Corinth 12:9a - kind of dissected it to fit my need, and at the end I was reminded and led to Matthew 11:28-30 where Jesus says to take His yoke.

so now I’m done with that and close the journal page.... I then go to my monthly verse journal challenge and SURE ENOUGH day 5’s verse is Matthew 11:28-30!!!! I wish I could post the pics to show you all, but whaaaa?!!!! God is SO GOOD!

Had to laugh as around here we have a Frontier Waste Management garbage trucks.

I have one today. God is so good. He always talks to us and reminds us of His wisdom and His grace.

We all remember that all peoples of the world are descendants of the sons of Noah and God put in my mind, that see, if you look at Jews going back home, they are of many different nationalities from all corners of the world. Black Jews, White Jews, Dark skinned Jews, Asian Jews, and on and on.

These comprise of the many colors of people and nationalities that populated the world from the three sons of Noah.

Psalm37v4

Hated and laughed at by the world but loved by God
I've had plenty of God moments. He is constantly amazing, encouraging, and surprising me. I don't know if I mentioned on here the time where I was experiencing anxiety about something. My mind (or maybe the devil?) was working overtime with doubts and such. I asked the Lord, "if things will be ok, show me in a way that only You can do." And sure enough a few days later, while riding home in an Uber vehicle, I was sharing my story with the driver - who was a Christian lady. She began saying "nothing's going to happen to you. Everything will be ok." Then she said it again. I thought to myself, is this coming from the Lord or just the driver's perspective? So I asked, "Lord is that You?" She said, "I'm not speaking of my own accord." How awesome that God used another believer to help encourage and calm me!
