Dennis Prager: If US abandons Israel, ‘that is end of America’
Prager said now is the time for Orthodox Jews and Christian believers to work together to reclaim the value system they say they care so much about.

If America abandons Israel and the Jews, “that is the end of America as we know it,” according to American conservative talk show host Dennis Prager. A Jew well known for his deep connection with the Christian Right, Prager expressed concern that America was abandoning the Judeo-Christian values on which it was founded and was, therefore, at risk of losing its support for Israel and, ultimately, its rank of a superpower.

“Christians [support Israel] because they cite God’s promise to Abraham that ‘those who bless you, I will bless and those who curse you I will curse,’” Prager said. “They happen to be correct. Those who have cursed Jews have ended up cursed.

Pray so they do not serve alone. Ephesians 6:10-20
He is not wrong.

Every time England did something against the Jewish people or Israel, they lost some of their empire.

Every time the US does something against the Jewish people or Israel, we experience some economic calamity or big natural disaster.

1 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Genesis 12:1-3, KJV

Yes, they will. One day they will abandon Israel and do so delighting in their wickedness, if the democrats/socialists/communists (same thing) continue to stay in power by manipulating the media, the govt agencies, and the ignorant. At this point, IMHO, only divine intervention could change the direction the U.S. is heading. There are just not enough of us left to defeat them at the voting booth, especially when the opposition insists on using questionable tactics like mail in ballots, no voter ID's, and citizenship requirements.

The end has been revealed to us by Jesus Christ. Try as hard as we can, we will not change the outcome.

They wouldn't tho right?
They will at some point. Many have pointed out that Israel appears to be conspicuously isolated when Gog and Magog come. And at the end of the Tribulation all nations gather to come against Jerusalem and the return of the Messiah. America will be among them.

What bothers me is Genesis 12:3 being used as a scare tactic. As believers, we need to know what our position in Christ is. We may be gentile, but we are Abraham's spiritual descendants. (Galatians 3:7; 29). We are not the recipients of the Genesis 12:3 curse. Nor will we be. "All the peoples on earth will be blessed through you." The Abrahamic covenant, through Jesus Christ, that is the portion of Genesis 12:3 that applies to us.

Genesis 12:1-3 should be of comfort to us, not a cause of distress.

Tragically, you are right on all these points :cry. It's just a matter of time.

God made it clear to all nations when He told told Israel, "I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you...." ~ Genesis 12:3. Sadly, not one nation is going to take God up on His offer of His blessing on them for their blessing Israel. Saying the world is going to be sorry for the curse they're going to receive from Almighty God for cursing Israel doesn't even begin to describe how horribly they're going to suffer. :ohno
