Delusion is spreading

Trolling is a thing in social settings. I apologize for implying the negative.
Trolling on here has a history of meaning atheists coming here and mocking Christians under the guise of being one.

Or Preterists coming here pretending to be Pretrib and undermining board rules.
So I assumed you meant someone trying to pretend to be what they are not, since you said they were “divisive.”

We need to gather others, and re populate the prayer section. A year or so ago, there were probably a minimum of 200 daily posts in that section, now its not even close.
We do have brothers and sister there praying, and I’m still there praying, just not usually posting. I can become more visible if it would make the people asking for prayer feel more supported.

I vaguely remember Chris stating we needed to condense the thread because it was getting out of control and as a result people weren't going into them because some of the posts would have 100's of pages. Maybe that's wrong on my memory.

Blood bought child of the King of kings.
Everyone says he looks like my husband. I can see both of us though.
Yeah , I see your husband in his bright smiling face as well.
When I first saw him , I was like , he looks just like Cheeky.
Children are wonderful and NEED to be raised in The Word. I think your children will be taken care of in that area considering who the mama is.

A problem for me when there are a huge number of posts is it’s difficult to wade through them all to get to the specifics of the actual prayer need. I’m easily overwhelmed! For the past months I’ve been acknowledging prayer requests but only posting very occasionally…I’m not even sure the posts I’ve written have all been helpful or appropriate. I mainly spend time praying for and over the forums and if something or someone stands out to me I’ll make a note and pray further until I feel through.

I took a couple of weeks off when my daughter got home and now I’m very much seeking God over how He wants me to proceed regarding prayer for here. I’m open to new ideas/ways of doing things but I’d be surprised if it will involve me posting more. Also,I think we need to be looking/praying for new ways forward rather than trying to get things back to how they were - I know that’s not what you were suggesting here - just my thoughts.

Sorry for being off the main topic.

I think Chris was also saying that apparently some members felt bad bc their prayer threads were only getting small amounts of replies while others were getting hundreds and that it wasn’t right.

I guess they were not feeling loved.

I too have a list of many members and pray daily for them, I just don't post much, I have been extremely busy for several months and my schedule will be that way for a bit longer. I'm an army of one on the home front and have been repairing 2 tier rock retaining walls hoping they continue to stay together as total rebuild cost would be around $25K  , and no way to budget for that with everything else we are fixing/replacing. Our ground is becoming very hard frozen and my outdoor work will be done until late spring. until then my daily pace will be a little slower will hopefully be online more and back into the prayer threads more like I used to be. Have also been installing simple warning strategies(trip wires) that make noise on property perimeter and near our bedroom windows because of threats from our neighbor kids(thugs) who have threatened us , they are going to be kicked out of their house in 2 months, it's been a long 15 months dealing with them, glad they will be gone.

I've been really overwhelmed dealing with all the "stuff" for my family and myself, and am just spiritually and emotionally worn out, so have been generally staying out of the prayer section for awhile because it's just really too hard right now.

I do appreciate the prayers and support that everyone has been providing to me, and when I'm more up to it, intend to return to the prayer section and reciprocate again.

:thankyou

Oh boy! So many great responses from all of you who responded to this thread.

I think that's one of the reasons why I haven't gone to church since I've moved to Florida. That was 5 years ago. I'm not trying to stay away from people, I just don't know what churches are true to the Word. So I keep praying that Jesus will show me what else I can do to be close to Him.

This incident really hit the spot last week. I was Catholic until 45 years ago when I met Jesus. I found the real Jesus.

Where I volunteer..... out of the blue a nun came up and started talking to me. I told her I was no longer a practicing Catholic. She asked why and I told her. I told her some of the things I didn't believe that the Roman Catholic Church practiced, that I was baptized again (and she asked why would I want to do that), I didn't believe in praying to Mary or the saints, that Jesus died for our sins and why was Jesus being sacrificed again on the altar? The Eucharist is not the body and blood of Jesus but a symbol and I thought that she would faint. Then I asked her if she was Rapture ready. She pretty much asked me how did I know that there was a rapture? I said it's in the Bible, but Catholics aren't supposed to read the Bible or even have one, unless that's changed over the years.

And get this, she told me that she would pray for me to come back into the fold of the Catholic Church. I said you've got to be kidding. No way was I going to go back to the Catholic church and it's false teachings and pagan rituals. She held up her rosary beads that she would pray for me. I told her we're not supposed to pray to the dead and Mary was just a person and not to be revered, prayed to and ask for miracles.

When I finally turned my back and went back to work I realized she was no longer there. In fact I don't even remember her even coming until I saw her behind me.

Did Jesus send her to me to talk to her about the true Jesus? If that's true then it is me who should be praying for her to come back into the fold and to tell all of the other nuns about the truth.

Things like this have been happening to me a lot lately. I believe that more are going to happen before the Rapture. I've experienced miracles like the one I wrote about in a previous post about praying for a blanket and found a bag full of them from mother and her child.

Dearest Jesus please prepare me to be a respondent to the unsaved and to those who need encouragement to strengthen their ties to Jesus and to be reassured that they too will be part of the Rapture.
