CDC put out guidelines for churches to reopen. Among them No more than ten is allowed to assemble for worship. I have a problem with that being that the casinos that were allowed to reopen in California are not limited to any number

yes, Spokane County... praying for you to open soon!
I have some close friends who moved down to Spokane last summer and I was so jealous that they got to “escape”.
I was going to respond to your follow up post but now I can't locate it. I'd message you directly but can't seem to figure out how to do so :laugh ... if you know how, go ahead and message me.
I don’t think we can message eachother! I have tried figuring it out before with no luck
:(

I am Blackfoot and frankly there should be no reservations. Each family should have been given a homestead and integrated into society. Off topic but it is a pet peeve of mine. In trying to help it just keeps people in poverty for generations. Forcing them to integrate would have prevented that. My own family integrated and have done just fine. Those still on reservations (without casinos) live in third world countries.
<<<end rant>>>Sorry :)
I agree with what you have said :hat

We call Next Door the "Tattle Tale" app. It has turned into a bunch of people calling out heir neighbors kids for speeding and their neighbors themselves for putting their garbage out too early. I deleted it, too. It's too bad. It started as a good idea.
That’s exactly what it is! I only reinstalled it to find the guy who does the local dump run and it’s only gotten worse. It’s a shame It has gone downhill because it does have helpful resources if you can get out of the feed fast enough.

Idaho, hands down! My folks have a condo near Post Falls there that they often go to and my sister lives near Boise. If only I could get my husband on board to pack up shop and go!
Yes, Idaho FAR better than this state even though I did hear about contact tracing going through medical channels or possibly the sheriff in Kootenai County :mope

I'm keeping you and your children in my prayers. God has you in His Hands always!

It definitely has it's ups and downs. We use it for fire reports in the area. I've also found it helpful in finding local Christians and like minded.

I can't post the video, but if you go to YouTube and type in "Coronaville" it'll bring up Steve Stewart's song. It's set to Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville and it is :lol funny!
Yeah, that is funny. There is another good one that my SIL just showed me from facebook. It is done to the song "The Devil Went Down To Georgia". I don't know if it is on Youtube or not but it quite clever and Funny.:pound

I'm glad you posted this because it's a pet peeve of mine too. I have never been able to reconcile American Exceptionalism and being a shining light for the world with the manner in which native Americans were supplanted. Maybe I will understand it in the next life. Years ago a professor named S.I. Hiakowa said "We stole it fair and square." If that's the best explanation, I guess I will ask in the next life.

Most tribes migrated where the food took them so I don’t see the land as stolen. My tribe didn’t really migrate much and owned and gave Glacier National Park away for gun and horses. History like this is rarely talked about. Many tribes traded their land, if they weren’t migrating tribes. Giving them a mini-nation within a nation was full-on stupid. All it did was create bitterness and hopelessness on the reservations. Most Indians I know (only speaking for those I know personally) feel this way and hate being called Native Americans. Anyone born in America is a Native American.
Sorry to derail the thread. :)
