The Church of Scotland is announced, in positive, pride - filled enthusiasm, that the majority of their presbyteries are in favour of conducting same sex marriages. This is ahead of a vote this May at the General Assembly. It is not that many years ago when I was a member of the CofS that they were trying to decide if ministers could be in same sex relationships. That of course led to debate on whether same sex relationships are approved by God. At the time it was approved, but it was debated and the Church was let's say cautious in pushing for it. The caution is long gone as they now announce that "love is love" and show their true colours and the direction they want the church to move in.
The Church of Scotland is now just a political campaign group (left wing, socialist), dressed up in religious language. I'm sorry to say it is hard to even see it as a church now. I think they are wrong on almost everything - but I realise that these are my beliefs. I could be wrong about their political and social stances (although I don't think I am - having prayed about them all, and God having changed my views since I became a believer). However, when it comes to same sex marriages, or their complete lack of any interest in the Gospel, I am standing on what the Bible clearly says; while they are bending Scripture in all sorts of ways, or simply rejecting it to get their views. It is shocking how people who are self proclaimed messengers of God have got it so wrong. And telling that they have very little interest in Jesus - or that is my impression from how little interest they have in Him compared to climate change, politics, social issues etc.
The fake church is ready and waiting for the Tribulation times. I would really encourage anyone who is in the CofS to pray seriously if God wants you there. He might, as a witness, but He may wish you to leave so that they are not campaigning on issues you disapprove of in your name.
