China halts military, climate dialogue with US over Pelosi Taiwan trip
Enraged when Pelosi became the highest-level US visitor in 25 years to the self-governed island that Beijing regards as its territory, China launched military drills near Taiwan.

China announced on Friday it was halting dialogue with the United States in a number of areas, including between theater-level military commanders and on climate change, in a furor over US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan. China's foreign ministry said it was also suspending exchanges with Washington on countering cross-border crime and drug trafficking, all moves Washington called "irresponsible."

Enraged when Pelosi became the highest-level US visitor in 25 years to the self-governed island that Beijing regards as its territory, China launched military drills in the seas and skies around Taiwan on Thursday. The live-fire drills, the largest ever conducted by China in the Taiwan Strait, are scheduled to continue until noon on Sunday.

China's violating our national sovereignty (by buying our country) far more than Pelosi's trip to Taiwan violates theirs, even if we agreed to China's claim (we don't).

As much as I hate Pelosi's politics, she is one of our elected leaders, and China is an enemy, with which we're currently at (economic and political) war. They've raped this country economically for years, and we're continuing to pay and pay and pay for it with the trade deficit, dangerous/contaminated/toxic products, dependence on them for critical items, ingredients, and components, ruined manufacturing sectors, etc.

Now, we've lost territory because they bought it (no different than the Louisiana Purchase or Seward's Folly).

The economic and political war has now cost us land, just like could happen during a military-prosecuted war.

Time to evict without recompense, and the banks making money off of it can suffer loss for aiding and abetting the enemy.

Enough is enough, already!

The only thing China does with ANY agreement is use it as a starting point of their next theft, lie, cheat, leverage, or grab. The Chinese communists are the best at piracy in the world. They have grown their countries wealth and power on the backs of slave labor and the thefts of the world's property. How these illegitimate leaders continue to lie to themselves and believe their own propaganda is very telling of their true moral condition.

If Nancy Pelosi is looking down on you, you are way, way down there!
