All of us ex-Catholics who know the Truth bemoan the fact of how difficult it is to change the minds of our Catholic families and friends. All we can do is pray for them to see the real Truth.
My grandmother was a devout Catholic, but for some reason felt compelled to read the Bible. This is very unusual for a Catholic as the RCC discourages Bible reading. Towards the end of her life she was very immobile and could not leave the house and spent more time in her Bible. My uncle still has her Bible and she would underline passages of interest. I did not see her much in her last few years since I lived in another state, but my uncle is certain that she was saved before she passed away. Her fervor for the RCC seemed to fade away. I hope my uncle is right about her, but so many family members are still ensnared in the false web of the RCC.
