Canadian civil rights org fires back at Justin Trudeau over decision to invoke Emergencies Act: 'Threatens our democracy'

It won't be lost on the NDP that Trudeau is VERY unpopular--or that he is acting like a fascist. Mussolini's shorthand definition of fascism was the marriage of the State and the corporations. We see it everywhere in N. America. Ronald Reagan once said that it fascism was ever to come to America, it would come in the guise of "socialism". In reality, there is little difference between the two--they aim at total control of the people. The full title of the Nazi Party was: The National Socialist German Workers' Party.
Sadly the NDP seems to have been bought off by Trudeau. He survived a vote in the House because the NDP and the Greens sided with the Liberals shutting the Conservatives and the Bloc Quebecois out from their bid to bring down the House and force an election. Hopefully Labour unions and others will remember that truckers are amongst the hardest working worker class but I'm not holding my breath.

:lol Oh my goodness, I laughed out loud! Good thing I didn't have coffee in my mouth! :lol

Yeah, such a tough situation there!

May I ask how things are going with getting food and other necessities in the stores? Is this being affected that you can see?

And.....definitely praying!! :pray

:hug

Me too.:lol I had told dh the same thing earlier this week.
It will be several months before we see them though, but when we do we know that Spring has arrived!

Our supermarket is still doing good. We are seeing some things not coming and they are stocking the shelves in a way to make them look full. Some things are being cut right out of their ability to stock them anymore. But, overall we are still a good supply.

There are mini-convoys and protests popping up all over the country. I've seen videos out of Alberta and Quebec and Toronto, Ontario. The police action in Ottawa lit a fire. Not sure ticking off the producers and bringers of food is wise but this may also be the attempts to "seize the means of production" by the elites. Trudeau wants to bring in 1.5 million immigrants in the near future (no word on how our overloaded hospitals will manage them) and I'm guessing they will be on factory farms and driving our trucks. Many temporary foreign workers do these already. They're forced to live in deplorable conditions and are not properly trained which leads to safety issues.

There is video going around from today's debate in Parliament on CPAC where a Conservative MP was asking about the WEF saying they had infiltrated the cabinet and the Speaker of the House said he couldn't hear him (all while an NDP MP shouted "disinformation!") and moved on. The Speaker is supposed to be impartial. At first the video seemed fake but I've seen other video of people recording off their laptops. It's pretty much a nail in the coffin of the hopes that parliament will do anything. I wonder how much longer that Conservative MP will last for asking.

May God protect them and their children. I understand that their children have been removed. That is utterly horrific. I don't think any of the Truckers thought that the government would do anything so evil. o_O

:pray It's so hard to believe we are seeing this in Canada. I have only seen peace, joy and love expressed from these truckers and others who are involved. My heart is truly breaking for them and so many others in Canada and worldwide.

I wanted to post something yesterday but I was too emotional as it was my Mother's Birthday yesterday and I haven't seen her since last Spring and she is in a nursing home and has Alzheimer's. Evil has grown worse and worse in the past 2 years, it has destroyed lives and families. DH lost his job and my own father said he didn't lose his job, he said it was his choice to not keep working. People have lost their ability to care for others and hate is running rampant. I am reminded of (Matt. 10: 34-40) and (Jn. 16: 33) "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

I was also thinking of how all those who are working in law enforcement who are being deceived and perhaps some of them know that this is wrong but feel compelled to obey what they are told to do so that they can feed their family. I do believe God is working in the hearts of man, bringing souls to faith. It is really hard to see this happening, I was in tears yesterday and am still shedding some today.

We need to remember what our Saviour went through... and be strengthened in His grace and love for us and to live our lives for His glory.

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God." (Heb. 12: 1-2)

" Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed. Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled." (Heb. 12: 12-15)

MPP Randy Hillier spoke about 3 hours ago about what is happening today. If anyone wants to hear him they can find him on Facebook.

The truckers wanted Mr. Hillier to contact the police command center to let them know that they would be leaving and that there was no more need for further escalating of violence and aggressive behavior by the Ottawa police and the forces under their command.
He did so. Subsequent to that they have seen continued violent behavior on behalf of the Ottawa police and their forces under their command. Their has been use of tear gas and he mentioned fatal injury/injuries?

Mr. Hillier also wanted to do one last conference with them but he was prevented by the Ottawa police from entering the downtown area to help de-escalate the violence from the police. This happened this morning but the Ottawa police rejected his offer.

More can be heard on his Facebook page.

Received this from Covid scientist Dr Paul Alexander today:

"I cannot say more today; I had to move from the red restricted zone this morning as was under threat; this is very fluid, tense, very serious, the police are doing their best asked to violated people. You cannot blame the police.

As a scientist, I am outraged and angered by what the govn has done today in Ottawa for they have no science on their side and the reality is that the fight is over a policy that the truckers have the science on their side, and the govn does not, but the govn will not even move to negotiate a reasonable peaceful solution; why?

Corporal Danny Bulford whom I came to know personally, and who was a sniper who protected Trudeau (he refused the vaccine and suffered the ramifications), was arrested this morning after a briefing we were having; I was informed if I entered any further the restricted red zone around parliament, I would be arrested. I was told by informed persons to NOT enter the zone from today, LEAVE; I was told by those enforcing that they know me, have followed me and McCullough and Malone etc. and support our thinking and are in a difficult position in their jobs; that they were doing their jobs; that when I talk on the stage they are moved by the data and science and message and they nor family have heard it this way before and thanked me, thanked me deeply, that they love and support the truckers and know that the vaccine does not work and is even harmful and fear for their own safety now as they have read lots now about the harms after taking the vaccine, forced to, mandated to, but then said to me candidly, “Dr. Alexander, if you move one more inch into the zone, you will be arrested.”

I realized immediately it was to silence me, that I was being silenced by threat of arrest, immediate; and that I should stop, that is what the government was trying to do, that they lost the narrative and I had to be silenced as one skeptic and contrarian and I became a problem with the message I was delivering on the stage outside parliament; I was shocked but do not hate the police and persons at the check points and perimeters, I love them same still, truly, beautiful people, I understood and moved back; I moved out of the zone and did not enter; I followed what I was told especially from connected persons who knew what was happening behind the scenes; I was informed across the day that my message and writing and interviews have hurt the govn in that it is getting through to the population. Mine and Drs McCullough, Risch, Trozzi, Hodkinson, Malone, Urso etc. that the message is having an effect and many MPs are listening and moving positions, but that I was in danger now if I moved near parliament, not even to the hotel I was staying at. I was barred from movement.

I cannot say more at this time, I will as I can; I want this to resolve and want a win for the govn and truckers; both, peace; the govn is wrong, devastatingly wrong here for what it has done, it has violated people in terrible ways and I hurt for the police placed in an untenable position as they must return to the very community of the people they are going after. Truckers whose protests have been peaceful. I know, I have been here. Trudeau has done terrible things here, he should be ashamed and history will not judge him kindly.

These vaccines have placed our police and military in a very harmful situation and I will write it knowing the implications as a global scientist heavily worked and knowledgeable in COVID; it is my opinion that many of our police and soldiers will have medium and long term consequences of the vaccines and up to death; many have died from these already and the vaccine makers, nor CDC or NIH have ensured the proper studies to rule out the harms and risks. I fear for our police and military and they were mislead and lied to by the public health officials at Health Canada and PHAC, as well as the provincial public health people under Premier Doug Ford.

That's from Dr Paul Alexander. From pastors and friends who have been there in the midst:
  • Trudeau's Justice Minister says being Pro-Trump is a factor for your bank account being seized by gov't.
  • Some truckers tried to leave but police blocked Rideau Street, preventing them from leaving, then arrested them and seized their trucks. Children were taken into family service custody. Pets were seized and taken to animal shelters where they will be considered relinquished if not picked up within 8 days ... something hard to do when truckers are arrested without warrant and held indefinitely without charges or trial under the emergency measures act.
  • The Ottawa Humane Society says once they have custody any pets they consider to be unadoptable will be euthanized.
BS on not blaming the police!! Those in the Gestapo say the same thing!!? Man up and resign/refuse.

I saw a video of the protestors trying to give the police roses and saying "we love you" but the cops didn't even blink. I guess there is always the risk of a hidden weapon or something but these protesters aren't about to do that. From the live feeds, I get the impression that at one end there is still a concert and speeches and dancing going but the other end is where the cops are. It can be confusing.

And is it protestErs or protestOrs? My spell-check is letting both go through. Or is this a grEy vs grAy thing? It's bugging me to no end.
They said today that there were two UN planes that had landed in Thunder Bay and that the military dressed in green and wearing gas masks, carrying batons, rubber bullet guns and tear gas guns, are from the UN.

I love my country to pieces. As much as I do respect America and am more and more understanding it's special uniqueness in world history, I am a Canadian. I feel much more affinity for it's British roots than my own German ones. I feel pride in the beauty of our various government buildings and the statues of Queen Victoria and past leaders. I love being America's Hat and being dorky and neurotic. I love our wide-open spaces. I love winter (yes, really!) And I even love the stereotypes Americans have of us and our igloos and pet polar bears. I love that our "don't tread on me" flag is a Canadian Goose saying "please leave me alone". It's funny. But I'm realizing so much of my country's supposed "Niceness" was really a smug, self-righteousness. The similar "don't rock the boat to be nice" mentality the Germans have. It's ripe for a totalitarian takeover.

I love my country. But it's dying. I knew this day would come. No country lasts forever. My friends and I discussed the death of the west in the coffee shops after 9/11. I knew it was coming...and soon. It still hurts though. I keep hoping.
I agree with all you have said Maple Leaf. I feel the same way. Knew it was coming, but it is hard. It does hurt.
Seeing so many people have no clue that their freedoms have been taken, illegally. And hearing people spout legacy media words if we talk about covid or the convoy was sparking a match to a powder keg in me but I have had to pray for forgiveness as these folks are spiritually blind.

Trudeau did mention he liked China's style of government as you could get more done.
And Mussolini's propaganda insisted that he made the trains run on time. Dictatorships are NOT more efficient. The people who are enslaved will find many ways of destroying the system from the inside. Were Trudeau a better student of history, economics and political science, he would know that. But he takes his orders from those who are higher up in the pyramid of power and they like their stooges to be "compliant" (just as they demand all of us to be). Despotic empires begin to fall from internal decay and despite the arrogance of people like Klaus Schwab, this one will not be any different. Even the Antichrist will not be able to keep it together if it is his time to enter the scene. Those who seek to enslave the world, will find themselves fighting against God. We KNOW who will win. "The fool says, in his heart, there is no God." Maranatha!

I was always concerned that the World Economic Forum would get the U.N. (who have been totally corrupted by WEF) to send in foreign troops from the U.N., to put down the protestors. Trudeau also permitted Chinese troops to train in B. C.

This shows the globalist fingers moving the puppet strings. Trump is from an entirely different country. So what if some Canadians "kind of liked him"? It has ZERO effect on how our nation is run. Well, maybe other than we want our own leader who puts our country first. Liking Trump as an individual has nothing to do with Canada though. It's all so silly. And "kind of liking" does not mean we love or worship the guy. He's the one who brought Fauci to the forefront after all. I do find it "cringey" to see people with Trump's face as their social media avatar. I don't like putting politicians or leaders on a pedestal. I really like being my own person and a sovereign citizen. I hate the idea that just because I voted for someone, or would vote for someone, means I am somehow beholden to them or on their "team".
So what, indeed!! I "kind of like" lots of prominent people (while recognizing that they are definitely NOT gods) but what has that got to do with anything that the government should be poking their noses into??! PC Interim Leader, Candice Bergen has been on fire condemning the Trudeau government tyrannical actions.

I hear that the PCs and the Block Quebecois tried to get enough votes to call for a no confidence vote today. Singh (installed head of the NDP) is a Davos/Schwab/Baggyeyes Moneybags, stooge made his members vote with the Liberals and the motion was defeated--so autocratic rule remains. If it had been a free vote--which it SHOULD have been--the motion might have carried. The NDP voting against hard-working truckers is NOT a good look for them, with their constituents. I hope that their constituents vote to turf Singh out like the PCs did with Erin O'Toole. I pray: Lord God, please protect and lead Candice Bergen as she speaks out against this tyranny. Please help other leaders, like Maxime Bernier and Eves Blanchet to speak well in lending their support for Bergen. I pray this in your name, Lord. Amen.

I just saw a video posted by someone in Thunder Bay, of the two enormous white planes with UN tail markings. It has been said that the soldiers who were off-loading had gas masks and there were reports that they were carrying rubber bullets with their guns. There were blue, armoured vehicles off-loaded as well--they are apparently already in Ottawa. According to various outlets, they have started tear gassing and shooting rubber bullets into the crowds of protestors who refuse to leave. A number of years back, they used the same violent tactics to go after the peaceful protests against a meeting of the World Trade Organization in Seattle. Some of the people attending that meeting are the same people who went on to become regulars at the Davos confab.

CORRECTION: Apparently, there was no vote taken today but some jawboning to try to get the votes needed. I doubt that it will carry, but you never know if the NDP constituents burn up the phone lines to their MPs. I guess we will see on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday).

I wish I had a cabin in the woods I could escape to for a few days. Just away from all TV and internet and radio and just read books and hike and take in God's creation. There is a massive blizzard going on and has been going on for hours. It's our third blizzard in three days (O Canada!) and the rural roads are completely snowed in. So I wouldn't be shocked if church is canceled because no one will be able to get there. We barely got out of the driveway today and that was before the new storm hit. I'm finally recovered from covid and out of "medical prison" so the thought of missing a 4th Sunday in a row is just not what I want or need. Where is my sled dog team when I need it? This would be a great time for the stereotype to be true.

May the Lord keep us filled with His Spirit and able to keep reading, and taking to heart, His Word....

I was thinking today that Christ and His few followers turned the "world upside down"....in reality, they turned it "right side up" (as much as can be in this dispensation, I suppose)....to think the world is turning it back to what is considered "right side up" is for us who can see it, very, very hard to bear. But, thank the Lord He said "I have overcome the world"....Thank you, Jesus...we are in for a wild ride, now, I think. Praying for us all.

While I was praying about this situation last night, 2 verses drifted into my head and wouldn't leave.

1 Thess 5:18 which is written in the context of the Day of the Lord approaching, and enduring evil times. Paul writes:
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Romans 8:28 which occurs in the context of enduring suffering (the passage 18-30 talks of moving from suffering to glory and talks of waiting with perseverance, and how the Spirit prays and makes intercession for us)
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

It just kept coming back to me, in EVERYTHING, ALL THINGS. God knows. He keeps accounts.

Even this will work together for good to us who love God and are called according to His purpose. We can still give thanks, knowing that even when things are going from bad to worse, that God is using this to save a bunch of people not all of whom are truckers, and the time is short.

Then this morning one of the elders was asked to lead the service as our pastor is still recovering from a heart procedure and the attack that preceded it.

He read the entire book of 1 Peter from beginning to end and it felt so encouraging and so like Peter was talking directly about this. As a sermon, it was wonderful. I was so grateful to hear it. Our little church supports the truckers and the cause of freedom and prays accordingly and he was feeling so grieved as he prepared for Sunday. He kept feeling the Lord nudging him to just read 1Peter aloud.

It was wonderful.

I share that hoping that those of you who felt disheartened by all the wickedness in Ottawa will be comforted by God's Word, His exceedingly great and precious promises as 2Peter 1: 4 calls them.

1 Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ,

To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:

2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
