Two Iranian warships docked in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday after Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva's government granted permission despite pressure from the United States to bar them. The IRIS Makran and IRIS Dena warships both arrived on Sunday morning, Rio's port authority said in a statement. Reuters earlier this month reported that Brazil had bowed to US pressure and declined Iran's request for the vessels to dock in Rio in late January, in a gesture from Lula as he flew to Washington to meet US President Joe Biden.

Not surprising. Normally I go on about the SCO or Shanghai Cooperative Organization which links Iran with Russia and China along with India, Pakistan and several others including Turkey. I call that NATO for Nasties because it functions like a NATO alliance with one twist. They also have financial goals that include removing the American Petrodollar.

But Brazil isn't part of that-- yet.

It is however a part of another group.

BRICS. It's an acronym for five economies: Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. They want to replace the American petrodollar and grow their economies thru this partnership.

Not surprising that Russia and China are leaders in both. It's part of China's Silk Road policy.

Iran isn't part of BRICS but is asking to be a member. So is Turkey btw.

Russia, China and Iran again, nations that want to avoid and evade sanctions. With Brazil.

Brazil is part of BRICS and it's new leader is a Leftist who seems to have a lot of policy in common with South American communist leaders. He is leaning towards Russia as an international partner which makes sense since Brazil has been a member in the BRICS group for some time.

There is a lot of common ground between the two groups, the SCO and BRICS with some common goals-- topple American supremacy in global trade and currency.

More proof of why Lula had to win by any means.

My personal opinion is that there is a world organization that is working to steal elections for their own benefit in all pertinent areas around the world, including the US.

There have been too many instances of shady elections in too many Countries and States.

US has no clout with despots these days... The US has its own despot running things now.
Agreed! Why would the US have any clout after what we’ve had to endure as the most embarrassing man to ever hold the office of president? How can any other nation trust or respect us as those in power promote this sickening wokeness that touts the LGBTQ agenda, the murder of our children and the savageness of surgically altering male to female and female to male, along with all the pronoun baloney?

In less than 4 years this looney has removed all the clout our nation ever had and has thrust us toward whatever goals the WEF wants to push. We have become a laughing stock to the rest of the world. Our enemies openly challenge us and because of our woke military, it goes by without a thought.

And then this rat has the nerve to tell Israel what they can and cannot do?
