That's the only kind to have in cold country!

We had cheese crisps with shredded pork (what else) and salsa cooked right in with the cheese. Very good!
Oh yeah, you have a point!! I was more pointing out the fact that he was going to spend hours jumping on trampolines. Max managed to break his tibia simply by jumping up to catch a nerf football that Jason tossed him. He didn't fall, get tackled, or get hit in anyway...just jumped. I was concerned that he would manage to get hurt because of what they were gonna do. Thank the Lord that Max had a blast, and managed to come home intact!!

My mom questioned my sanity about allowing him to go in the first place...but I can't hover that much or he'll never have any fun. I just don't go as a chaperone so I don't have to watch!! :thumbup

What a bummer Mac isn't feeling well! That stinks. I pray he feels better soon.

I'm making the kids hot dogs and fries. Chocolate pudding or popcorn for dessert.

Hamburgers and fries tonight. DH and I have been gone this week to look for a house at our soon to be new location. We found one, and the rent isn't anymore than what we are paying now. Yay! Thank You, Abba!

Tonight is ham steak, mashed taters and green beans.

Mac definitely has a bug and is going to have to stay in the car during my Dr appt tomorrow. I hope they aren't as slow about getting to me as they usually are. :rolleyes

I LOVE peppermint ice cream, and yes I always put chocolate syrup on it!! When I'm feeling the need for even more ice cream, I'll add a scoop of chocolate fudge brownie ice cream with it. Enjoy your treat Susan!!

I forgot to write what we're having for dinner.

We're having popcorn shrimp with fries, and pineapple chunks. Stryder doesn't like shrimp, so he's eating New England style clam chowder. Thank God Max loves shrimp, so I'm still only making two different dinners.

We're being wicked tonight and not going to night service. It's snowing here, and I'll probably break my neck navigating the cement with this boot on my foot, so I didn't want to risk it. We went to morning service, and we can watch night service on the internet. It's not the same as attending, but it's better than missing it entirely.

Besides, I spiked a fever again today, 102[SUP]o[/SUP], and I don't know why. I don't feel bad at all, just cold:eek:scar:

You gals are making me hungry, and it's 2 hours till mealtime and I don't have a clue what
I'm having, though I am leaning toward traditional breakfast in some form.........
Maybe a ham, cheese, mushroom omelette, yeah, that sounds good....
And later for dessert I'm having sea salt caramel gelato...
Thank you Lord for our provisions.

And praying as always for my ailing Sisters.

That omelette sounds wonderful Allen!! I haven't had one in so long...maybe I'll make us one for tomorrow night's dinner.

And I have got to try that sea salt caramel gelato. I've seen it in the stores and it looks mighty tasty!!

Heaven's Stables
I was going through the cupboards in my new residence where I am now staying with a friend who is 66 and has had MS for over 20 years and I found....

Many cans of yukky fish products.

Sooooo, Allen, if you fly south for the winter you can stop off here and consume a month's worth of canned fish if you would like! I have no idea who else might eat this stuff.

Tonight we are having country noodles (homestyle) with shrimp, butter, garlic, Parmesan cheese, parsley flakes. There was no white wine and no lemon concentrate in the cupboards, so the above is a greatly abbreviated list of ingredients for shrimp scampi.

My friend's former caretaker was a great cook but he died a year ago on Thanksgiving Day so she has been eating microwave dinners for a year. Maybe she won't be too critical of my version of shrimp scampi, I pray!

This friend I'm now going to roommate (or is that housemate?) with I met in 1986 when we both worked at a 7 doctor subspecialist group together for about 6 years before she was struck down with MS.

Mary, if your friend has been eating microwaved meals for a year, I would bet that your homemade meal will be a welcome change. Besides, it sounds lovely.

I've got leftover spaghetti sauce so I'll cook some rigatoni, then add layers of sauce and mozzarella and bake. Maybe just sliced french bread or maybe I'll make garlic bread from it :idunno:
Regardless, thank you Lord Jesus for the food!

Mac changed his mind, so we had BLTs instead. Tonight we will have the ham supper.

I had to cancel my appt. Mac is just too sick to sit outside in the car and we can't afford to burn the gas like that either. They thanked me for not coming in and said they have had many sick coming in and spreading germs everywhere. These Drs are pain specialists, not GPs. People don't use common sense anymore.

Continuing to pray for Mac, as well as you, Sandra. :hug :hug

Tonight we had Salisbury steaks, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots ad homemade biscuits.
I think I'm finally feeling better.
I'm on antibiotics for a chronic sinus infection. I hope it works. And my blood pressure seems to be settling down. I don't have any more flu like symptoms. I'm not having as much anxiety issues. I get those when my blood pressure is funky. Which doesn't help that at all! Stress levels are pretty normal again. I had some rough going with various issues for a couple of weeks. If this was some sort of test I'm glad it's over.
Anyhow, enough whining. More eating!

Well, my doctor stuck me in the hospital today. So, I had meatloaf, which didn't look like real meat, carrots, mashed potatoes, peach cobbler, salad, a biscuit, and coffee.
