Biden's executive order marks the government's initial foray into cryptocurrency

The regulatory future of cryptocurrency looks uncertain in Washington, but there is growing acceptance that blockchain finance is here to stay.

President Joe Biden issued an executive order last week directing multiple agencies to study how the United States can be a leader in cryptocurrencies, assess the risks and benefits of the technology, and formulate a plan for the government to issue its own digital dollar. But lawmakers have sharp disagreements about how financial technology should be regulated.

The executive order instructs agencies to coordinate policy and points to "profound implications for the protection of consumers, investors and businesses, including data privacy and security; financial stability and systemic risk; crime; national security; the ability to exercise human rights; financial inclusion and equity; and energy demand and climate change."

Biden's order amounts to the most significant government study of cryptocurrencies and distributed ledger technology, spanning financial, national security, and environmental agencies. The order explains: "In November 2021, non‑state issued digital assets reached a combined market capitalization of $3 trillion, up from approximately $14 billion in early November 2016."

Sounds to me like this executive order is using the transitioning into digital currency for the purposes mentioned in the cited quote above. The "block chain" feature will be able to track every transaction with detailed data of the person making that transaction. This makes clear how at the time of the beast system they will know who's buying and selling with a global Central bank system that has this block chain feature with digital transactions.

The digital currency he wants uses an indexed unit of account with no inflation risk. An indexed unit of account is used in Chile and its original base value has never changed.

How do you know the ac wants that? As for Chile, their current inflation rate is running at double digits... doesn't appear their type of money is doing anything for inflation.

I'd be hard pressed to find a more credible source of information about coming changes to the financial system than a famous Nobel prize winning economist

The Nobel prize has become something of a joke in recent years. They're easy to get if you're of the right political persuasion. In my view a Nobel prize says something negative about an individual these days. This Nobel prize can't hide the fact that that particular monetary system does not prevent inflation.

The digital currency he wants uses an indexed unit of account with no inflation risk.

Referring to your comment above, Biblically speaking we know there will be a one world government and thus a global economic system. The Bible does not tell us exactly what that global economic system will look like, and the reason for my question is none of us knows at this point what type of digital currency if any the anti-christ wants to use. That's pure speculation and in my opinion speculation and opinions should be stated as such.

I think by your posts alone along with a tiny bit of research this financial expert has been fully discredited. Granting him a Nobel is nothing more than putting lipstick on a pig.
