This is going to make all those high speed pursuit videos on Youtube pretty anti-climactic. Think about how many gas stations there are. Now replace them with charging stations. The infrastructure needed would cost trillions and take thirty years to build.

Not only that, but how long does it take to fully charge a vehicle's battery versus how long it takes to fill up a tank to the full with gasoline? Current quick-charging technology only fills the battery to 80% capacity, and that takes anywhere from an hour to three hours! Petroleum is still the king of fuels until we can master anti-matter.

I'm so jaded at this point I bet they are only pulling this stunt to skim off the top of an extraordinarily overpriced and ineffective maneuver. No environment concern AT ALL, just free money and ineffective junk. Not to mention all the woe this will bring to the poor in the countries that are already exploited for the materials for this worthless junk. I like the idea I saw in this thread with horse and buggy. If you want to protect the environment, you have to give up all these toys. The ones who say otherwise are just jockeying for power and pushing an agenda. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Dilemma resolved.

What really scares me about this climate change nonsense is what they aren't saying out loud. I saw some deal with a Swiss scientist on national television say that we need to rethink the taboo on cannibalism if we want to confront climate change... AND NOBODY ARGUED WITH HIM. All you seem to hear as far as actual methods of change go involve wicked schemes like normalizing cannibalism or genocide. I mean really, if it's that bad wouldn't it be better to die loving each other to the end rather than committing unprecedented evil to survive something they can't even prove? They clearly want to do this because a ruined economy makes it easy to lead masses of hungry people to invite communism down on themselves; this is obviously their ultimate goal, and the climate change lie is one of many means toward that end.

So to me they are more evil than stupid. Well except Biden; he's stupid and evil both. But most of them are more evil than stupid. As you may have guessed by my reaction, I agree 100 percent haha if nothing else, it proves a lot of people will do ANYTHING for power. It didn't elude me that they sent some bossy teenager around the world to rant at kids in school, kids started to show obvious signs of harm and depression, and somehow they are STILL the good guys despite scaring kids senseless about dying. How many more suicides will it take until they see its a bad thing they are doing? Trick question, they won't because it's all about gaining power and they could care less about the environment.

Aren't all bills that involve spending $$$$ supposed to originate in the House? Replacing all these vehicles will cost megabucks. Why not just replace them one at a time when they wear out. It seems that all the usurper wants to do is spend and waste money, and he's only been there a week.

they are incredibly ignorant. I suppose they think electricity comes from the wall outlet! That clean electric car has batteries that are incredibly corrosive to the environment, difficult to recycle and generate a LOT of carbon not to mention toxic waste in the mining, refining and manufacture of their component parts.

Really the only safe renewable resource is water, and only in areas where dams are possible to build plus have plenty of rainfall or snowmelt that can fill up those dams.

In very few places (my province is one) does electricity come from hydro electric plants using dams of water. And there are massive problems with wind turbines and solar that affect the environment.

Here's where the "juice" to run the electric cars comes from:

38% comes from power plants that use NATURAL GAS (ooooo fossil fuel there Biden)
23% comes from COAL fired plants. OH MY THE CARBON UNITS ARE JUST A PUMPING OUT so Biden can juice the limo.
20% is NUCLEAR!!!! Yeah, cause nuclear waste is so clean and healthy, let's start dumping it on Biden, he won't mind.

7.3% comes from wind (some of that generated by the politicians no doubt) but that is killing migratory birds and isn't very efficient. Wind turbines are expensive beasts to build, maintain and even dispose of when they fall apart. And the sites that are available for enough wind to make it worthwhile are few and far between.

FINALLY
6.6% Hydro or water power from dams! Water, the best renewable resource accounts for 6.6% BUT where I live, the environmentalist lobby won't allow dams to be constructed because-- the environment. (same protestors show up wearing high tech oil based weather resistent Gore Tex jackets carrying their cell phones filled with rare earth elements that create toxic waste driving SUV's parked handy beside the protest site) mmmmmmm hmmmmmmm.

1.8% comes from SOLAR (very hazardous for birds and wildlife, battery units to store energy after sundown are like electric cars, full of toxic stuff that wears out eventually and needs disposing of the stuff that can't be recycled.

1.4% is from Biomass (but I suspect that is from burning or composting both of which generate airborne waste.

0.4% is from Geothermal.

So Biden just signed off on a big plan to destroy the environment because he's going to have to build power plants to juice up all those toxic battery driven electric vehicles.

And most places in the States aren't begging for a nuclear plant, so that means coal or natural gas or diesel fuel. Those all come from FOSSIL FUELS which he wants to stop mining at least in America, so HELLO Saudi Arabia and the oil crisis of the 70's.
