I don't get it either. Unless the mom is single and has to work 2 jobs, then I can see where it's not possible. I do pray those women can find a local homeschool co-op or a church school.

Yes..........I'm sorry............ I misspoke. Altho, I know there are many fine Christian teachers who try their very best to be a light to their students, many other non-Christian teachers do not. And, there are so many non-Christian viewpoints that are being pushed on kids in public school now. I was merely sharing my viewpoint that a believing mother, homeschooling her kids, who is concerned, is probably going to impart more spiritual education to her child than the child would get in a public school. I apologize for offending..........
I get to homeschool my kids for the first time this coming year, and I'm sooo excited! Every time I hear of things like these coming down from "on high", I'm so glad we won't have to deal with it. My sister's kids are in public school and some of the comments from the high schooler are just horrible (yes, sharing a locker room with the opposite gender). Ugh.

I saw a lot of those stores in the city when working for the bank, because we made loans to a lot of the corner store owners. The thing that stood out to me was the food was all prepackaged, carb-laden junk food. No protein, nothing sugar free. And the kids coming in to buy things were typically overweight. It was sad.

How and when exactly did this trans thing become a big massive deal? When I was growing up, I never met anyone who thought they were the opposite sex. Has it just been the past 5 years that it has become a major issue? And now it's a civil rights issue regarding "preferred pronouns". They refer to being mistakenly assigned at birth, when actually they are created at the moment of conception.
I miss truth and reality. I wish the government would stop aiding and abetting lies and confusion.

I believe this weird stuff started when Obama was in office same sex marriage was passed in 2015 7 years ago, and the gay agenda has been going downhill since then. Of course Joe Biden was VP and look at the unnatural that is happening since these 2 were elected. Joe Biden went in office January 20, 2021.

Thank you, Kathy...no worries! You are right about that. If more homes cared about their children's spiritual development, all schools would look different. This is government overreach at its finest, and many children and teachers are victims. More reasons to look forward to His coming and making all things...miraculous! I can't wait!

I'm not exactly sure, but I've read a bit about gender issues and the worship of Baphomet. More in leadership with that bent have sanctioned and promoted it. So if evil itself is increasing to the point of no longer being obscured, it makes sense that the flamboyant things associated with it would, too. Simply more signs that our Blessed Hope nears.

I have no clue how long, either. BUT, in the mid-seventies, my first encounter with this was a young girl who lived on our street.
She was heavily into sports, acted and talked like a boy, and I was told her parents allowed her to wear boys underwear, at her request........
Many girls are into sports and even act more boyish and it is perfectly normal................ but, wearing boys underwear seems really odd.
As I said - my first and only encounter until the last few years.........
Sadly, my granddaughter went down this path shortly after marrying and having a child. She really got messed up, made new not-good
friends, left her husband and child, even almost died of a drug overdose. She slid down that slippery slope for several years, and is just now
trying to put her life back together......... I'm not sure what her level of involvement with transgenderism is at this point. She will never get her family back, but I pray she will find her way and be restored to faith in Christ.
This deviation may have been going on for decades.............I don't know. But it is so sad to see lives damaged/destroyed by it.
Even sadder to see children being swayed into these situations by adults and politics, etc.

I think it really got going in earnest in the US when TPTB took the Bible and prayer out of the public schools.
Hopefully the young lady was trying an unconventional (for then) solution to a problem(s) that had nothing to do with transgender, etc.
Depends on what kind of boy's undies. If cotton, especially no exposed elastic, or loose, airy fit, much better than women's undies, which often are tight, have very constricting elastic, and made out of non-breathing fabric, for preventing yeast, UTI, heat rashes, and other issues. Tight enough underwear cause circulatory, skin, and neurological issues, as well.
If the young lady was thin and/or muscular enough, it may be that men's underwear were the only things that would stay up or hold a pad in place.
I can tell you from personal experience as an athlete and as a soldier that when a girl or woman has low enough body fat plus very muscular, that boy's and men's clothes fit much better (and breathe much better than girl's and women's clothes, and cheaper and more durable) Never resorted to boy's underwear, but I had underwear-related problems until I found ladies' all-cotton string bikinis with cotton-covered elastic in a larger/looser size. Up until then, Mom kept on getting me stuff that was pretty, but very unhealthy materials and TIGHT.
These days, they make women's underwear that's similar to boxers called boy shorts. Loose-fitting and usually cotton. Good for preventing problems

At least some canned veggies and fruit in the Mom and Pop stores. Usually the only meat was bacon, spam, tuna, and lunch meat. If frozen foods were sold there, fish stix, breaded chicken tenders, frozen hamburgers, etc. to heat in a microwave, etc.

Writing all of the below brought back some nice memories, including going to the store for Mom when I was a little kid because baby brothers, the smell of the store the old, low, wooden shelving (nothing over 4 feet tall), and the saggy, creaking wooden floor, and I kind of got "lost" in better times
When I was a kid, the Mom and Pop stores were much better than they are now. They were essentially tiny grocery stores with basics/minimums in case you ran out and needed something before you could get to the big grocery store, but there was enough that you could get by if no transportation to a big store or enough snow/ice, or baby/small children that you had to haul with on foot, so couldn't go. They were more expensive than the supermarket, in part because small sizes. The one I particularly remember from back then usually had fresh produce and eggs from the owner's garden, trees, and chickens, or sometimes from the farmer's market (winters, no idea where it came from), and there was usually fresh hamburger and chicken, hot dogs, bacon, lard, limited dairy (block cheddar and colby cheeses, cottage cheese, sour cream, butter, milk, cream, fresh yeast). They had a limited selection of packaged stuff, like only two soups (Campbell's chicken noodle and tomato), a few cereals (Cheerios, Wheaties (or Total), and Shredded Wheat (the big buscuits you actually shredded yourself)). Saltines, one kind of crackers and cookies, pumpernickel and white breads, hamburger and hot dog buns, condiments, tomato paste, sweet and Kosher dill pickles, black and green olives, rice, wild rice, noodles, macaroni, spaghetti, grated parmesan, Velveeta, strawberry and raspberry jams, grape jelly, Skippy peanut butter (sadly not crunchy), olive oil, Spry, distilled vinegar, lemon juice in the plastic lemon, lime juice in the plastic lime, cans of sardines, smoked oysters, and tuna, bags of (unpopped) popcorn, small packages of sugar, powdered sugar, brown sugar, unsweetened cocoa, salt, flour, baking soda, baking powder, etc., basic herbs and spices, basic OTC, one kind/size each of TP, kleenex, bar soap, cleanser, shampoo, dish washing soap, scrubbing pads, aluminum foil, wax paper, plastic baggies, napkins (no zip locks, paper towels, or disposable diapers), toothpicks, charcoal, lighter fluid, matches, Cat Chow, Puppy Chow, Dog Chow, Clorox, washing soda, laundry soap, Dreft, etc., Usually a couple flavors of ice cream, a couple kinds of frozen juice concentrate, popsicles, fudgsicles, bags of ice and french fries, boxes of frozen green beans, corn, peas, and strawberries, and one turkey in the freezer. A few kinds of pop in glass bottles, cases of beer in bottles in wooden creates, and penny candy . They also had lots and lots of canning supplies, wicks for lanterns and kerosene heaters, candles (no birthday candles, though), and a few basic kitchen implements. No tobacco products, but they had flints and lighter fluid for refillable lighters, pipe cleaners, and tobacco tampers/cleaner tool. Was just listening to someone on the radio say the same. We are all sort of playing along with these crazy ideas, to humor less than 1% of the population.
I first noticed the trans push shortly after America legalised gay marriage. It wasn't even a year and the whole Bruce/Caitlin Jenner thing happened. I remember marvelling how quickly it was happening. I was back home visiting my family and we were discussing it. Canada had legal gay marriage for about a decade already and Europe even longer. But America really is the world leader which includes morals so the decline was so quick. I had figured the trans stuff and other degeneracy was coming but not THAT quick.

My son and his wife decided they were going to the courthouse to get married on January 1, 2013. Well this just happened to be the first day gay marriage was legal in the state, so I was worried the courthouse would be inundated that day. But it wasn't. I didn't see anyone but one or 2 hetero couples. Just more evidence that only a tiny portion of the population wants this stuff.
The push is definitely not organic.
