Biden DOJ Drops Affirmative Action Discrimination Suit Against Yale, Which Gave $633,038 to Biden
By Daniel Greenfield

Elections have consequences.

That means Biden eliminating women’s sports and a fight for meritocracy at Yale. The DOJ, under President Trump, had taken on affirmative action abuses. Now that lawsuit, which rattled Yale, is history.

The Justice Department withdrew a lawsuit that alleged Yale University violated federal civil-rights law by discriminating against white and Asian-American undergraduate applicants, the latest indication that the Biden administration is shifting the federal government’s stance on civil-rights enforcement from that of the Trump administration.

“The Justice Department has dismissed its lawsuit in light of all available facts, circumstances, and legal developments,” including a November federal appeals court ruling that Harvard University didn’t violate federal civil-rights law, a spokeswoman said Wednesday.

It has actually dismissed it in light of the 2020 election.

In addition to withdrawing its suit against Yale, the Justice Department withdrew its notice letter finding that Yale’s practices violate Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color or national origin in any program receiving federal funds.

Mr. Biden’s pick to lead the department’s civil-rights division, Kristen Clarke, served as president and executive director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law when it represented a group of mostly Asian students who supported Harvard’s consideration of race in admissions decisions.

“Opponents of affirmative action continue to peddle the myth that affirmative action hurts Asian-American students by placing quotas on their admissions into elite colleges in favor of African-American and Latino students. This is an absolute lie,” Ms. Clarke said in 2017. “Quotas, in fact, have been unconstitutional for decades.”

And Clarke, as has been widely reported, is a racist.

While studying at Harvard University, Clarke – then the president of the Black Students Association – penned a letter in 1994 to the school’s undergraduate newspaper, The Harvard Crimson, urging it to adopt her views on genetic differences between blacks and whites.

In her letter, which was penned in response to the controversy surrounding The Bell Curve by Charles Murray and Richard Herrnstein, Clarke claimed that blacks have “superior physical and mental abilities”, adding that the skin pigment melanin had endowed blacks with superior traits than whites and Asians.

“Five: Melanin endows Blacks with greater mental, physical and spiritual abilities — something which cannot be measured based on Eurocentric standards.”

Clarke also endorsed an anti-Semitic professor, Tony Martin, who was noted for his controversial book, The Jewish Onslaught: Dispatches from the Wellesley Battlefront.

Yale employees directed $633,038 in campaign contributions to Biden making him the leading recipient of Yale cash. So just think of it as another favor for a racist campaign donor.

At the expense of Asian students and many of the kids of those same white suburbanites who hated President Trump so much they voted for Biden.
