Beth Moore Goes Off on ‘White Male Christian Supremacists’

In a speech she gave in February at Baylor University, she reprimanded so-called racists.

She claimed she knows a fellow believer who “would swear and declare that he is not a racist,” but pushed back by saying that he couldn’t remember all names of minorities in every conversation.
She also accused his friends of being poster images for “white male Christian supremacists.”

Moore said you can’t judge a person’s heart, but you can “hear their words.”

“You don’t have to be a skinhead to be a white supremacist. I know that’s gonna be a shock to somebody,” she said.

The evangelist also criticized praises of America’s current state of equality by comparing it to an affair and porn addiction:

Beth Moore has gone from being the Southern Baptists' favorite daughter to becoming irrational and sold out to the world and radical Liberal politics. She used to be a great teacher. Now she is just angry. Comparing the advances America has made in race relations to a porn addiction is both an invalid comparison and factually incorrect.

In this modern "woke" iteration of race relations, some people belong to an irredeemable group of "oppressors", not because of anything they have done, but because of how they were born. Other people are permanently consigned to being the "oppressed." The oppressors can never be forgiven, transformed and cannot be given grace, and the oppressed are never allowed to find relief or deliverance. That is the irrational ideology that Beth Moore has bought into.

Jan Markell has said, more than once, that she has gotten a lot of E-mails from many of her listeners about the fact that after 2020, their pastors changed and bought into the whole "woke" ideology. People are finding it hard to identify a Bible believing church in their localities. Beth Moore is one those people who completely changed after 2020 and is now gone of the rails. She and other Liberals like her, have a very incoherent understanding of what constitutes actual racism.

I used to do her Bible studies and she was a very good teacher. I was surprised that she turned her back on God and serving him. 2020 was not a good year for multiple reasons.

IMO, she has always been a false teacher, not just since 2020.

Blood bought child of the King of kings.
You mean Beth Moore the one that attends
Saint Timothy's Anglican Church in Spring , Texas ?
The one that constantly capitalizes on her childhood abuse to no end garnering much sympathy ?
I'm not minimalizing her abuse , it just tends to come off as capitalizing on her part.
She promotes wokeism , so no surprise that she spoke at Baylor University.
Unfortunately what she spoke about was unfounded on the scale she tried to present.
Kinda like her hyperbolic " Trumpism" talks.
I'm not sure about you folks , but when I voted for Trump , I voted for a President not a pastor.
I wasn't foolishly expecting some squeaky clean fella with no sin.
She seems to display selective outrage.
I'm sure the dozens upon dozens of land , ranch, multiple mansions , jet, yacht, numerous fancy vehicles, and multiple millions she made under the SBC platform will help ease her pain during her pilgrimage on this planet.
Hmmm... I guess Bill Clinton's numerous sexcapades was over looked during her early ministry years . Wasn't like it was highly publicized.
Selective outrage...

Back to Saint Timothy's Anglican Church .
Google that church and go to the about us section and read the following ,
• What we believe
• Anglicanism

Does that sound like a church you want to go to and brag about ?
A church that clearly goes against the Scriptures.
Maybe Beth's problems are not man , but rather God and His Word and ways.

With Beth Moore it isn't about Him , it is about her.
The Bible warns repeatedly about individuals like her.
There is much more that can be said about her writings and "speeches" that are not Scripturally sound.
It would be wise not to entertain her unstable approach to the Scriptures.

To add to your list - her many times she said “God told me this”, which then turns out to be contrary to the clear words in scripture.

As you said “Its all about her, not Him”.

Last I saw, she has converted to the Anglican denomination. I have no earthly idea why she went that direction. Nothing against the Anglicans, but it is strange to go from a Southern Baptist/evangelical to Anglican. That's quite a change.

When was that?
back in the 90s. I remember going to the LifeWay Christian bookstores and they had a whole section devoted to Beth Moore. She had some great stuff on topics like the Fruit of the Spirit, Righteousness/Justification, as well as other timely topics. Her ministry was mainly targeting women, but she had some topics that appealed to men as well. Back then she was pretty much spot on. She got hooked up with TBN and started going downhill in the early 2,000s and now she is off the rails.

I was raised Southern Baptist, did a stint in UMC, then went to an apostate “seeker sensitive” ARC church, before coming home to Anglicanism. Our church is part of ACNA (NOT affiliated with the episcopal church or Church of England) and to my understanding Beth Moore is in our denomination. While I cannot speak for her other than what I see, please don’t assume all Anglicans/ ACNA adherents are liberal. Our church actually left the episcopal church here in South Carolina due to their liberal, lgbt “affirming”, wokeism. I can say that the majority of ACNA churches are pretty conservative and biblically sound. Then you have people like Mrs. Moore making us all look bad. There are good, mature Christian’s in many denominations, including the ACNA. There are also “bad apples” in all denominations (some more than others ).

So did I. I think they were 'Believing God' and "Fruits of the Spirit." Then I started to learn she is a false teacher who teaches things like contemplative prayer and says God talks directly to her and invites her on playground dates. Anyone interested in critiques can find them at the End Time Blog (Elizabeth Prata.)

I never said Anglicans were liberal. My point was that going straight from being an evangelical to the Anglican church seems like a pretty radical change, denominationally.

:agree Years ago, I respected her as a good Bible teacher. But I've heard too many off-the-wall comments made by Beth in recent years. Yep, she has gone off the deep end in my opinion.

In my women's bible study group of 5, all of us in the distant past did BM's bible studies. When I was still working, the radio station I listened to had Focus on the Family until 3 pm, then 5 minutes of BM screeching. As soon as I heard that, I turned off the volume and starting getting ready to go. Her voice had become like a siren in my ears.
One of our ladies still wants to do her studies, I spoke up and said No problem, I'll just bow out out of that study, then the others agreed that they also didn't want to do her studies.
I no longer have an interest in her, or Rick Warren or many other teachers and pastors. Too much fame and money is never good for the teacher, it changes their focus.
