Belarus official: West left us no choice but to deploy nuclear arms
The United States has denounced the prospective deployment of nuclear weapons in Belarus but says its stance on the use of such weapons has not been altered.

Western countries left Belarus no choice but to deploy Russian tactical nuclear weapons and had better take heed not to "cross red lines" on key strategic issues, a senior Belarusian official was quoted as saying on Sunday.

Alexander Volfovich, state secretary of Belarus' Security Council, said it was logical that the weapons were withdrawn after the 1991 Soviet collapse as the United States had provided security guarantees and imposed no sanctions. "Today, everything has been torn down. All the promises made are gone forever," the Belta news agency quoted Volfovich as telling an interviewer on state television.

More bad omens. Curious as to who would have the authority to use those nuclear weapons being deployed in Belarus? Common sense would point to only Russia having the keys, but who can tell in today's world. If forced to speculate on how WW3 begins, I would guess a smaller nation such as North Korea or Iran or maybe a country like Belarus. I hope we are gone before it happens.

The reports have been that Putin will maintain operational control. But according to Russian battlefield SOP a general can launch a tactical nuke to avoid loosing major ground.

Imo ww3 is for the tribulation not before, also there will not be any nuclear weapons used except the odd one eg Isaiah 17. Faith is cast iron on this.

I'm not sure I would agree that WW3 necessarily has to wait until the Tribulation but I do think any serious nuclear warfare would be. It would take serious Divine Intervention to prevent a nuke attack from escalating to the point of world destruction. A thoroughly demoralized West might suffer the odd, "limited" nuke attack, however.

It's possible I'm not dogmatic but I just cannot see it, imo the repercussions would basically mean no world govt for maybe going into hundreds of years.

In the past the effects of war has been used to bring us closer to global govmint. League of Nations followed WWI and a stronger United Nations followed WWII. I therefore can't rule out armed conflict facilitating the establishment of the end times global govmint structure... though the way the world is going, armed conflict probably isn't needed as we already seem to be at the doorstep of what will be the beast system.

Something starts the NWO, I wouldn't pass over the thought of it being WWIII. Could be it wouldn't last long? TPTB may set up the NWO just to stop Nukes from being used. I'm not dogmatic on the notion, but I don't believe the start of the NWO and the tribulation are simultaneous. I even believe we'll see it ruling, or at least trying to get people to let it rule before the rapture. It may take the rapture to get people to beg them to take over the whole world not just thier side of it.

Say something Righteous and Wholesome...
I see a plot line that seems to come from an anime movie;

There is a limited nuke exchange which causes the world to panic at the realization that escalation will destroy the world.
Somehow there is enough sense to realize these weapons must be controlled by a central unbiased power.
Of course a new leader steps in and takes control of all nuclear weapons.

Israel surrenders its weapons only when given an "absolute" guarantee of safety and .... a temple.

We may be spared or it can just as easily be one of the opening volleys: a precursor to the Rapture which is followed by the start of the tribulation.

Fortunately God Knows and has the timing of events within His grasp.
