“It is a horror show, you know…If you believe in his policies, what he’s advertising is his policies, he’s the last person who could actually execute them and achieve them.”

That was former attorney general William Barr in Cleveland last Friday. The “horror show” was not the ongoing train wreck of Joe Biden. It was what Barr believed would happen if Donald Trump was once again elected president.

“He does not have the discipline. He does not have the ability for strategic thinking and linear thinking or setting priorities or how to get things done in the system,” Barr told reporters. “And so, you may want his policies. But Trump will not deliver Trump policies. He will deliver chaos, and if anything lead to a backlash that will set his policies much further back than they otherwise would be.” That’s quite the performance from the former AG for Trump and George H.W. Bush.

William Barr is aware of Joe Biden’s ongoing horror show, starting with the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, the abandonment of allies, and the massive giveaway of American arms to the Taliban. The former AG knows the chaos brought on by Biden’s destruction of the border.

Barr cannot be ignorant of the supply-chain problems, soaring inflation, and weak economy. On the other hand, Barr knows that Trump built a roaring economy, slowed illegal border crossings to a trickle, promoted peace through the Abraham Accords, and reduced the tax and regulatory burden of the people.

William Barr knows that Trump accomplished all this while under relentless assault on bogus impeachment charges. Now the former AG prophecies that “Trump will not deliver Trump policies” and does not even have the discipline to do so. For Barr, such a salvo is hardly out of character.

Barr conducted no thorough investigation or audit of the 2020 election, yet he claimed there was not enough fraud to affect the outcome. Barr backs the Democrats’ January 6 show trial, and supported the FBI raid on Trump’s residence. As he told reporters, Christopher Wray and the people around him are not the type to “throw the FBI’s weight around to interfere in the political process.”

As Barr knows, they are the type to throw their weight around, and they do interfere. In his recent book, One Damn Thing After Another: Memoirs of an Attorney General, Barr gives good reviews to friends Robert Mueller and deputy attorney general Rob Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller to investigate Trump.

“Few can appreciate the complexities Rod faced during that tumultuous time,” writes Barr, “and even fewer will know the important contributions he made to the administration and the country.” Since Barr names not a single one, a ballpark figure for these important contributions is zero. Current FBI boss Christopher Wray, who denied any government spying on Trump, gets Barr’s full approval.

Back in the day, William Barr applied for an internship with the Central Intelligence Agency and was admitted to the program. As a lawyer, Barr continued to work in the CIA’s Office of Legislative Counsel. Aside from Jimmy Carter pick Stansfield Turner, “a disaster,” CIA bosses come off pretty well in Barr’s memoir.

John Brennan shows up on page 190 claiming that the CIA knew what the Russians were doing in the 2016 election. In the 1976 election, John Brennan voted for the Stalinist Gus Hall, candidate of the Communist Party USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Soviet Union. Barr is not curious why the CIA would hire such a person, who never should have got in the door. Brennan was a signatory to the letter calling the Hunter Biden laptop story an example of “Russian disinformation.”

Barr tasked U.S. Attorney John Durham to look into the Russia hoax, but as the memoir explains, “I made it clear that neither President Obama nor Vice President Biden were in Durham’s crosshairs.” For former attorney general William Barr, Joe Biden is above the law. That explains Barr’s jihad against Trump, which the people should take as a confession.

For all but the willfully blind, the CIA and FBI are deeply embedded in domestic politics and the U.S. Department of Justice is essentially their pro-bono law firm. For these federal agencies, the welfare, rights and choices of the people are not the slightest concern. Despite the horror show now going on, the deep state sturmtruppen are perfectly happy with the Pétain presidency of Joe Biden.

As William Barr also confirms, the woke oligarchy still perceives Donald Trump as the major threat to its own power. As Trump likes to say, we’ll have to see what happens.

I must say that it would seem like just about everyone at every level took positions with the Trump Administration in order to not only appear to be good sports signing on to help a president who had no government experience and consequently didn’t know anyone personally who could populate his administration but to work at cross purposes with him and do what they could to thwart his efforts to make America great again. I think the only one who was there from start to finish was Dr. Ben Carson and I think he was in it to get something good accomplished. He had no government experience either but his motives for serving were more pure than some others. Mike Pompeo served as CIA Director and Secretary of State and far as I can tell he wasn’t looking to thwart Trump. They may as well post a sign on Washington, DC stating “no pro American supporters need apply.” Sort of like the “No Irish need apply (NINA)” signs that were hung up on shops and other business after the Irish started coming here in the 1840’s during the Potato Famine.
