It's amazing how there are people who regard the bible as nothing but a book of fairy tales and myths. But archeology keeps proving the bible right, and the modern scoffers wrong.
I don't know if you guys had heard of this, but I just came across this article today regarding Balaam since I find him to be a very interesting person. A mysterious prophet or seer who is mentioned in the book of Numbers and also in the New Testament. I believe that Balaam had a gift of prophecy, possibly even was able to curse and bless individuals as well. Unfortunately he used his gift for gain and evil.
