Thank you Chris for all you have done, are doing, and will do through this forum to bring the lost to Christ and to edify the saved in Christ -- hopefully even beyond the time of the rapture for as long as this forum stays "up and running" after we all go to Our Father's House (for those who are left behind that did not put their faith and trust in Jesus prior to the end of the Church Age of Grace).

A great book, that is a great witnessing tool! I highly recommend printing off a few copies for your church, and for your youth group. A friend of mine even printed the link to the book on business cards, and hands them out at every opportunity. This is a book we need to get into the hands of as many people as possible!

The story behind the book.

During the second week of March of 2014 I was attending a local BMIC meeting where I am the secretary. One of the members stood up to testify that there were around 400 public school and High School youth at a skating event. Then he said they were returning to another skating event in April on the first Monday. The Holy Spirit hit me hard and I jumped up and immediately asked for the floor. I went up and told how we are losing 3.+ out of 5 students to the world when they go off to college. That one of our focuses should be an apologetical devotional to give to these kids while we have one more chance. I told of my plans to write a booklet for them and publish it. If any would like to contribute to call or email. So I began that day to formulate the book. Within two weeks two others, John Snyder and Bernie Lutchman both contributed. In the end I had written, formatted and edited and had it published through Blurb on the Friday before the Monday (in 3 weeks-start to finish). We printed out several hundred copies at a local book printer and had them into the hands of those kids that Monday night. So far since then 5 1/2 months later we are not a bestseller but we have had 4000 downloads and another 1000 - 1500 printed and handed out. That does not include the hundreds who have told us they have emailed it to their friends all over the world. So praise God. He's the One who is doing this work.

I am glad you all enjoy it and I echo the gooddoc's words, download it and send it to as many people as you possibly can.

ps. I am finalizing my newest work, "The Sifted Generation." I have struggled for months with the subtitle but I think I have settled on:

The Sifted Generation
Enduring the Fiery Trial of Faith

to the extent that you share the fellowship of the Messiah’s sufferings, rejoice;

Well thank you Juli, but you might be overly impressed as I have never edited a book before in my lifetime. But I have read thousands of books after they have been published, and I could find typos or sentences that were garbled so I'm prayerful that my limited abilities were actually helpful to Mike and we will just leave it at that. I do not think I am going to actually become employed as a REAL book editor any time soon!

It is a most excellent review, but one of our forum members already informed me I missed a typo there! :

That's really great news about 25 Reasons To Believe getting hundreds of hits a day even still! I guess all the "recommendations" from various sources are bringing in the ones who are interested in using such a resource. God is using that booklet greatly it appears!

Thanks for the vote of confidence on the help you got with pre-editing, but I wouldn't count on it preventing the book editors from rewriting it altogether! That's just what they always do, from what I've heard!

I just spoke with BL in Chatham and he stated that a Pastor in Athens IL is using 25 reasons as we speak to lead an atheist to Christ. Hallelujah. Also in P*****, IL at "****" high, the track coach is using it. The Lutheran High School Bible teacher uses it in class. Many Missionaries on the field as well. PTL. Only He gets the glory!! It is His word and a healthy dose of the Spirit that convicts a sinner!

The book we've been waiting for has now been published!

This book deals with subject matter of prime importance to all believers in view of the world conditions currently. The time fast approaches that our faith is going to be tested tremendously, as the faith of the martyrs is being tested already...

We need to be prepared for the testing of our faith. I have read this book in unedited version, and will soon order the paperback at Barnes & Noble.

I highly recommend it to all who are of the true faith in Jesus.

I'm so thankful that we have the Holy Spirit as our paraclete and that in our weakness His strength is made perfect. God's children will pass any test of faith in the strength the LORD provides at exactly the time we need to have it. Be encouraged. Without His help I would be very worried!
