2/25/20 Dem Debate in SC

I wish I had ignored it like TT. My excuse is I like humor. Problem tonight is, I am just realizing the implications of the death of Phil Haney. Channel switching between the rerun of a train wreck and being concerned about Swamp creatures who may have the power to get Hillary Clinton and Mike Bloomberg into the White House by hook or crook has robbed any humor from the debate and made me realize how important it is to give Trump four more years to try to drain the Swamp. The prospect of professional hit men influencing the process tends to cast a pall over the best of circuses.

We watched this one only to keep up with what "the enemy" is doing. Satan loves to quote Scripture, and he certainly did through Buttigieg again this time, as well as Elizabeth Warren (who used a Matt. 25 quote at the end of the debate as her personal "motto"). The whole thing was a complete clown show, a satanic one at that, and they barely spoke about any actual issues beyond "social and racial justice." After watching it for 2 hours you can't shake off the desire to take a bleach and sandpaper bath....

Each contestant should be in a sound proof booth. The same question should be given to each separately, without the others being able to hear the answers. The questions should tackle real issues...the kind the president will face. "What would you do about (*******)?" "How would you improve (******)?" "What would you eliminate or reduce?" "What parts of the Constitution do you most and least agree with, and what would you add or change?" "What is the most important role of the president/federal government?"

If the others couldn't hear the questions and the previous answers while waiting their turn, they would have to give their own best answer/talking point without starting out with contradicting and yelling at the others. The onsite or televised audiences could have more clarity in deciding who had the best answers.

Later, if requested, it could be thrown open for arguments or rebuttals. But the main questions would already have been answered in a more civilized form.

As much as I want to laugh at team donkey making fools of themselves in front of the entire world, I can't. We're going to be in for a world of pain if any one the maniacs on that stage gets into the White House.
Yep. It's really no laughing matter... especially since we don't know what percentage of our voting population is deluded enough to vote for any of those yahoos. Lord help us :pray

It has gone from humorous to grotesque. The debate was as productive as the Iowa Caucus, an inmate debate in an asylum, and the maiden voyage of the Titanic. If this will compete with the Coronavirus as the lead news story until November there will be a new category of depression called "media affective disorder".

We have too many American Jews, Christians who don't support Palestinian uproar (even if they never heard of Genesis 12:3), and normal citizens who can see the living conditions in Socialist countries to allow Sanders to be President. He just called Netanyahu a "racist". Given the equal treatment of all faiths in Israel, that statement alone qualifies for a medical diagnosis of a specific and technical nature: "Crazy". I looked it up.

According to Scripture, I believe that one day Bernie's soul will be in a world of hurt. He's Jewish of course, and not only does he despise Israel, its formation as a nation, its people, but also calls its current government racist and genocidal. Obviously, too, Bernie as a Jew has rejected his own Messiah. Bernie is the antithesis of God's promise to his chosen people and all of Scripture. Unless he finds God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit quickly, Bernie is headed for one eternal destination. I hope he packs powerful sunscreen. I pray for him and especially all Jews who currently don't yet know their Messiah.

I believe the US is currently being blessed because of what we/Trump have done for Israel. It any of these nutjobs, especially Bernie gets in, I'm afraid the curses will begin to flow our way.

I live in SC and my husband and I will be going to the democratic Saturday to vote for Bernie. I still believe there are enough sane people in the US that will not vote for a communist. I feel like Bernie is the most beatable.

But I also believe God is in control and if it's His will, Bernie or whoever will win.
