Yes, I've wondered about that often. On several important biblical truths. The only thing I can come up with is...
"It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter." Proverbs 25:2
I find it really interesting that only the KJV uses the small word IN. All other versions that I have found use the word ON. (emphasis mine)
Revelation 13:16
King James Version
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark IN their right hand...
I know this is a serious issue, but I just saw a meme that made me laugh out loud. It said....
"My mortgage identifies as a student loan". hahahahahaha
We just bought our 21yo son a MEAT subscription for his bday. He is a college athlete. Once a month for a year, he will get a big box of frozen meat...steak, burgers, bacon. Felt like a good gift for a college kid who likes to cook and can't get enough protein in his diet from shakes and...
I do wish Trump hadn't said "our country has been brought to it's LITERAL knees" tho, since that just makes him look like an idiot. (It's a pet peeve of mine)
Except God DOES love everyone and all CAN go to heaven. In fact, He is not willing that ANY should perish. The only qualifying trait to get thru those pearly gates is belief in the One who saved you and what HE did on the cross.

1963: a gleam in my father's eye
9/11: Home with a 3 week old and 2 toddlers. Dh was supposed to be on flight to Atlanta. We traded off watching the babies (and cartoons) with watching the news unfold.
This is my 18yo prodigal-returned son's favorite verse. He came home from church camp when he was about 8 and was truly on fire for this. It touched him very deeply.
I grew up with it. I come from a long line of bible-believing, Jesus-loving, pray-without-ceasing Christians. It has always just been my norm. I can remember my mom in her jammies climbing into bed with us girls at bedtime telling us all about how "we are so there" and how exciting it was to...
Sadly, this can also come across as depression. I once told a Christian counsellor that I was praying and longing for Jesus' return and he thought that meant I was suicidal.
Foolish? Yes? Fun? Also, yes. :wink2 I can think of a lot worse ways to fill the time while we wait. I agree that setting actual dates is detrimental, but I do believe we are supposed to know the season and we are definitely in it.
Im really not afraid of any of the technology that makes our lives easier cuz I'm not going to be here when the MOB is implemented and I am all about convenience. I signed up for CLEAR and TSA precheck at the airports cuz we travel a lot and we completely get to skip all security lines. They...
