Rapture: Instant disappearing, or visible ascent?

I would say it's instantaneously done. After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.” Immediately I...

Mock God – Not Real Smart

I just noticed in the Isaiah passage it mentioning a Mount of Assembly, do you think that is meant for the Church? Did satan try and put his throne where it shouldn't be? Just a random thought I had.

Is God in Total Control of Everything?

I agree with you as well on this. One of my favorite new scriptures is in response to, "Why does God allow bad things to happen?" The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; nor is He served by human hands...

But of that day and hour

    Yeah I agree with you.

What About those Who’ve Never Heard the Gospel?

I think this verse sums this all up as well: The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and...

    Another Greek word - Logon

So, in Romans 14:12 we must all give an "account" to Christ. When I look up the word it brings up "logos." https://biblehub.com/greek/3056.htm Obviously, this got me thinking about what I am going to say. I'd like to know what the difference between "logon" and "logos" are, if any, which then...

Central Bank Digital Currencies and the Coming Global Enslavement

With this coming system, I can easily see how they'll get people to accept a mark. Today, you can lose your phone or computer and your "access" to money. If it's inserted in or on you, you can't lose it. They'll say, "Thieves can't take your money because it's on you permanently!"

Gap after Rapture & before Tribulation - Your thoughts?

I wanted to add another note to my comments. If the abomination of desolation happens on Passover, this day is not in the winter and not on the Sabbath. As Jesus said we should pray for: But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, or on a Sabbath.

Parable of the Fig Tree - Arnold Fruchtenbaum

I think you could definitely make a case for the fig tree being the event of the abomination of desolation, the only counter point I would argue is that Jesus cursed a fig tree next day immediately after His rejection as Messiah.

Gap after Rapture & before Tribulation - Your thoughts?

No one knows for sure. It's all speculation. The Seven year tribulation is defined in scripture and we know it'll run seven years. Jesus returns at the end or right after that period. I don't know the exact date and no one ones it for sure except the Father. According to some scholars, Jesus's...

    Random Thought - Gender

To keep from being "canceled" in the current era, couldn't we make Christian a gender? Then they wouldn't be able to discriminate against us. Technically speaking, we have a two thousand year old document that supports the Christian as a different gender: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there...

Gap after Rapture & before Tribulation - Your thoughts?

I'm kind of a math guy so awhile ago I was looking at the seven year tribulation period and how it might lay out. I am NOT DATE SETTING or anything like that but if Christ's second coming is going to be in the fall (to fulfill the last three Jewish holidays), then the treaty would have to be...

Need help with a Greek word in Revelation 5:10

Need help with a Greek word in Revelation 5:10

Thanks. What I'm wondering is since this song is sung by the elders, if this Greek word is past tense it supports the idea that Jesus making us kings and priests has already happened at this point in Revelation. Reinforcing the idea that the rapture has already occurred in Chapter 4. In...

Need help with a Greek word in Revelation 5:10

You have made (epoiesas) them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.” Revelation 5:10 Does this Greek word mean that it's already happened? As in, is it past tense? "You have made ἐποίησας (epoiēsas) 4160: to make, do a prim. word

Need some help from strong Christian scholars

It's not super short unfortunately. haha Thank you for the suggestion. I'll send it to Chris and see if he likes it. I really wanted to get some feedback on the accuracy and if I drew the right conclusions from each passage.

    The Rapture in Revelation

Their identity isn't given. One is most likely Elijah (or someone that comes in the spirit of Elijah like John the Baptist), from Malachi 4:5: “Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord."

    The Rapture in Revelation

In addition, what does the Lord say to the two witnesses later in Revelation? What happens to them? And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.” These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand...
