Even the dictionary definition of death, if you google it up, puts a finality to it, that's it, kaput.
Recently on some of Andy Woods sermon/classes, he's pointed out that death is separation. So our physical death here is separation from the body, and eternal death, separation from God...

Some, especially particular US Govt Officials, appear to have been so courteous they held the door for everyone else while God was passing out brains.
Most people around here hold the door for everyone, we let others in in traffic, and generally try to be kind.

Well, people have been running to and fro forever, although maybe not as fast or far as we do today. I'm with the "running to and fro" being reading the texts, and understanding more. Woods says we understand Daniel today better than Daniel did when he wrote it.
