Woman's curse

Hey guys my partner and I were discussing Genesis 3 and she said that God cursed women to have a desire for their husbands.

When she said that I told her nah no way how is that a curse and upon re reading it I can't seem to explain why it would be a curse?

Does anyone know the context of this because I'm having a hard time believing that having a desire for your husband is meant to be a curse Lol ?

I think that part of the curse is referring to the power struggle in marriage, as in, the desire to control the other person.

It’s definitely not a curse to desire your spouse, since God said to be fruitful and multiply prior to the curse.
