    The world restored....

Well, I have no evidence that they'll be brought back. It's more of a hope of mine, considering that the world will be restored, I kind of infer it. Besides, with God, all things are possible! Amen!

    The world restored....

I'm just curious as to what you all think. During the Millennium, Christ will restore the world. I always took that to meaning that He'll restore it to it's previous edenic state. Also with that, I believe that all the extinct creatures that existed back then will also be brought back...

What is this decade (2010s) gonna be remembered for?

I 100% agree with this. In fact my son (who is 10 years old) asked me the other day about when I thought things really started to go down hill. To my best recollection, it's when 9/11 occurred. During my adult life (starting in the mid-1980's) things seemed to just cruise along for the most...

If Trump does not win in 2020

As much as I prefer President Trump over the other candidates, I always remember this and my worry melts away... Daniel 2:21 He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. So who's in control again? Hmm....?? Yeah, we all know who.

    Cars, planes, ships?

Well, I'm thinking that things will be sufficiently different during the millennium, that I think any paradigm of travel in the past up to the present won't really apply anymore... not completely, anyway. For those of us that are raptured, I believe our mode of travel will be almost...

    Cars, planes, ships?

For those of us raptured.... I'm hoping I'll be able to get around by personal flight... you know, like the comic heroes, like Superman. I'm certainly not wanting to go that fast, but at a nice pace of say... 100 mph or so. As long as I can remember, that kind of flight has always appealed to...

    Cars, planes, ships?

I've kind of wondered about that as well. Thinking about all that it takes to create the vehicles we now have and the fuels it takes to operate them, maintain them and repair them. I think Tall Timbers may be on to something. Perhaps it'll be some form of transportation we haven't thought of...

    Why are you here?

I just wanted to put in a quick addendum to what I wrote. I just recently found out that John Haller and the FBC Chapel believe in mid-trib eschatology. I don't believe in that of course... I'm very much a staunch Pre-trib and Pre-Mil guy. I do still like John Haller for this point...

How Many Are Anticipating the Rapture?

I agree, but being a nurse seems rather pointless in heaven. No sick people.... no more elderly that need taking care of, etc.

How Many Are Anticipating the Rapture?

Oh, and here is something else.... will our respective cultures still be in tact in some way when we arrive? Within reason of course. No pagan deities or anything sinful, there are aspects of various cultures that are quite interesting and fun! Or does all of that get dropped to the wayside...

How Many Are Anticipating the Rapture?

Nice idea, but I was quite willing to give up being a nurse when I get to heaven. Guess I'll be getting a whole different career at that point.

How Many Are Anticipating the Rapture?

I know what you mean. LOL I also wonder about mundane things in heaven. Like, will we still take baths? Will we still produce waste? I mean, we'll be eating and drinking.... so.....? What then? Only thing I can think of is that perhaps our bodies are SO perfect, then perhaps we're 100%...

How Many Are Anticipating the Rapture?

Well, I think I'd be a bit hyperbolic if I said that I purposefully look up EVERYDAY and comment on his coming. I don't..... But I do quite often... at least several times a week. We have a multi-level parking garage at the hospital where I work and I take the elevator to and from my car...

    Why are you here?

I've been a believer since I was a little kid back in the '70's. I'd first heard about escatology and end-times events in small spatterings here and there when my grand parents took us kids to church back then. I dunno... but to my child's mind and heart, even back then I think I knew...

UK Court Rules Biblical Belief in Two Sexes ‘Incompatible with Human Dignity’

Whuh!? What was that!! Oh.... sorry, I thought I heard the theme to the old Twighlight Zone TV show playing in the air. Huh... Sometimes it feels like after reading these articles that I'd see Rod Sterling standing in the background smoking a cigarette.
