No Dissent Tolerated
By Jill Martin Rische
We are living in a state of war. This has always been the case as Ephesians 6 tells us, but in recent months, the enemy’s strategy has escalated to open hostility, transforming digital communication into a dangerous battlefield.
Last November, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and other liberal-owned sites, deleted thousands of user accounts. Millions of people, from all walks of life, were accused of white supremacy and insurrection. Their personal opinions, online relationships, time, and money vanished overnight. The message was clear: dissent will not be tolerated.
A Global Purge
November 2020 was a turning point in the history of America. Just as we all have crossroads in our lives, America reached a four-way stop and blew past all the red signs in pursuit of power.
But even before that, the global purge had begun. Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, spelled out the Communist agenda in clear terms for all to see. “The pandemic represents a rare, but narrow, window of opportunity to reflect, re-imagine, and reset our world.” He praised the “transformational power of social entrepreneurship.”
At first glance, this may seem like an innocent business slogan, but a closer look reveals the global plan. Google informs us that the goal of this social enterprise is to implement social, cultural, and environmental solutions—final solutions to re-imagine and reshape the world. The shadowy circle of world power brokers will not tolerate anything but submission.
Controlling Communication is Controlling Us
It is a major weapon in the arsenal of the globalists. The pattern of world dictators throughout history has been one of shaping the narrative—making sure the people hear only what the government says and limiting any freedom to respond.
As far back as America’s War for Independence, oppression was a necessary tool. Colonists could not speak openly; they could not gather publicly or privately without suspicion.
In Germany, Hitler disrupted channels of communication and promoted propaganda; in China, Mao crushed the voice of the people. Social media influences every area of human life—emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual. It takes the pulse of the people, and becomes the voice of the people. Controlling it is vital to the success of the oppressor.
Knowledge is Power
Gathering information is the first step to control. Sophisticated computer programs have tracked us in multiple ways for many years but today they can track and instantly retaliate against us. They record our conversations and file our faces in computer databases with no guarantee of privacy, only a promise to sell you to the highest bidder. Facial recognition is a tried-and-true security weapon—a building block in the beast system.
As difficult as it is to discuss, posting photos of children and grandchildren may place them in this database, and can even leave them vulnerable to people who steal online photos of children and, in the age of Photoshop, copy their faces onto the bodies of other children.
These “new” photos appear on what is known as the “dark web,” a social media playground for the lowest of the low.
If you’ve used the internet, you have a personal social profile that may eventually be used to restrict your freedom. The rise of the ESG score, based on environmental, social and governance behaviors—your behavior—will eventually impact your life. You may earn points or lose them based on your political party, religious beliefs, race, financial profile, and online comments.
Everything you do on the internet can be factored in. Your score could eventually restrict your freedom to purchase real estate or rent, choose a school, travel, or even buy and sell.
Resisting the Beast System
In choosing our social media platforms, we choose how we are seen and heard, and who we support. There is still much we can do to be salt and light in a very dark place. The foundation for the beast system that will rule the world has been laid—our resistance is in putting on the whole armor of God and standing against it.
Where to Find Us
Supporting Christian media sites is another way to fight the information battle and with this in mind, Olive Tree is now on Gab.com, a free speech social media site run by Andrew Torba, who professes to be a Christian. You can find us at gab.com/JanMarkell.
For the last 6 years, Torba has survived attack after attack from Silicon Valley tech “lords” and banks determined to silence him. It’s always a good idea to support sites that champion free speech.
As an update, Olive Tree is now off Twitter. For now, we remain on Facebook, but this may be coming to an end if their warnings are any indication. As of today, you can find us on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Rumble, and Gab.
Strangers In This World
The Bible warns us to guard our hearts, so it is only common sense to guard our lives. Checking your privacy settings on social media can limit spying for a time, and revealing little to no information about you is the best way to camouflage your personal life. We are strangers in this world, and time is short. Resisting the enemy is being wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
(Note from Jan Markel: Jill Martin Rische manages our social media, thus I asked her to write this column this week. Social media, while addicting for some, is becoming more tyrannical by the day! Please check out our recent radio program on this dilemma posted below.)
