You Better Get a Clue, Time is Short

John 14:1-15 “Let NOT your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.”

“Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.”

“Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.”

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

I am so tired of this world!! The Apostle Paul, was grieved as well about this same thing, the world so full of hatred and anger, bigotry, malice, when all the time…it’s just FEAR!! We run around and worry so very much about our homes and cars and our bank accounts, because if we don’t, we may end up on the street, broke, naked and hungry! Or there are some, that just have to have everything they can get their hands on, before someone else does! And yet, they KNOW, beyond shadow of doubt, their days are numbered, just like every one else on this little planet! They KNOW they came into this world with nothing and they KNOW they will leave this planet in the exact same manner, except for one thing, they leave with out this body. This body that grows weak and begins to fail with time and then one day it just fails all together…it dies! That’s life, right?! And we all…are just alike, we’re humans and one day we (each of us) will simply fail all together…we will die.

And so because of this…simple knowledge…we run around like idiots and make fools of ourselves, in front of everyone else. We like to “Postulate” we are all so grand and wonderful, when we are exactly like the Bible says we are “We are weak and fallen, we are naked and poor an full of hunger”. And why are we this way, because we are so foolish as to believe we are more, than what we actually are! We have a Brain and we then think we are knowledgeable and yet we have never once CREATED a single thing! And so what do we do, we Raise our fist at GOD and Blame HIM for the troubles and diseases we have brought on ourselves. You think I am crazy, lets take a look at…oh say…HIV! Where did this start…oh yeah…some scientist said it came from Monkeys…Right!! And so how did this come from monkeys and get into the human gene pool, or maybe you need to tell us what you have been up to, when no one was looking!!

And so, looking back at the Israelites, they spent 40 years in the wilderness because…what?! No Compass, no one knows how to navigate by the stars? What else could it have been? Ya wanna say it was GOD that made it happen? How about…they were selfish and self-centered, lairs and thieves and couldn’t bring themselves to do what God asked of them?! If you have more questions, why don’t you read it for yourself in the Bible?!

Oh yeah…I’m the problem, because I believe what the Lord tells me in HIS Bible! I’m the problem and I am also the Hypocrite, because if I am a Christian, I’m not to ever fail, right?! WRONG!! Being a Born-Again Christian….just means that I am saved by the Blood that Jesus Christ shed on the Cross of Calvary and nothing more…I am still human…and so are you!! The true difference is this, I am SAVED to Jesus Christ, by what HE did on the Cross!! My SIN is covered by HIS blood, because I see my failure, my short Comings, Jesus Christ died to save me and you…IF we ask for HIS salvation!! I am still flawed and many times still wrong about things, but the one thing I am NOT wrong about…is Jesus Christ!!

I am going to tell about Jesus Christ and what HE has done in my Life for as long as I live! I am going to uphold the Gospel of Jesus Christ…even if it means my death! What do I care?? You kill me, you’ll be sending me exactly where I want to be…with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ…in Heaven…for Eternity!! So the next question ought to be…how about YOU?? Do you have that same assurance of Eternity? Oh…YOU don’t believe in Eternity?? Well that’s just wonderful for you! Oh you don’t want to be a goody-two-shoes, you want to have fun and do whatever pleases you, is that it?? Well That’s just great!!! What IF there is an Eternity?? What then??? Oh..you’ll cross that bridge when you get to it, right? No…I am not going to discuss Pascal’s wager with you…it’s pointless!! I already know the ending, so it’s no longer a wager, it’s a definite answer already! I know this and you don’t, unless you read your Bible, the Holy Word of God.

I also know there is a Heaven with Jesus Christ and I also know there is a Hell and then Lake of Fire as well, but unless you read the Word of God, the Bible, you won’t know, therefore you won’t care about it! Until you get there, that is! Then it’s too late to change, you’ll know this and you’ll scream your lungs out, begging Jesus Christ to save you, from where you will spend Eternity! Oh…yeah, that’s right, you don’t believe in Eternity!! Wow…are you ever in for a BIG surprise!! One moment and you’ll hear, “Hi there! Remember me, I’m your father satan!” You think you have it bad here, well, you ain’t seen nothing yet! But…don’t believe the Believers of Jesus Christ, go ahead and curse them, ridicule them and hurt them…you can even kill them…it won’t change a single thing! Because, YOU ain’t in charge, of anything or any where, satan has been filling your ears with everything you want to hear..isn’t that right? The Bible calls this “Having itching ears” and believe me, there are lots of ya’ll that have that affliction.

You know what fascinates me to no end, those that like to say “Well…I have my own Beliefs, my own belief system! Or it could be you believe, that we will all eventually get to Heaven, some how! Or it could be you think to say, “All religions are the same and we will all go to Heaven!” If you think anything like that, you really need to read the Bible, you couldn’t be more wrong!

John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: NO man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Ya better get a clue, cause you never know when your last day is going to come along and surprise the Hell out of you! It’s always like that, one moment your here and the next your gone! A simple Truth actually, the question is, what do you believe?! Your Eternity depends on your answer!

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
