Wake up! Your are Missing the Show!

It is never surprising to me, when I see people running around endeavoring to “Put the Genie Back in the Bottle”. Same idea here, “How do we close Pandora’s Box!” For the most part, this is a point in life where one wishes they had not done somethings…they chose to do. Sort of like listening to a older person say something like “I am paying for my Youth!” In truth, their youthful endeavors had a sure effect on their days as an older person, I know this sort of thing all too well.
As I have stated before, my growing up years were rather difficult, mostly because of where we lived, in those years. The Philippine Islands is indeed a gorgeous place to see, still the 1960’s were volatile in those days, Communists living all around us, the Poor verses the rich Americans. So on and so forth!
It was in these years, that became the most formative in my Life, My Dad was strictly Military and to a fault. He was a World War 2 and a Korean War Vet, he would have seen Vietnam, if it were not for the Pentagon and His accomplishments in war, prior to this time in the Military. At one point they wanted to send him for a tour (1 year) to Vietnam, the Pentagon flat-out said NO, so we stayed in the Philippines. Clark AFB was attacked several times every year, so us kids learned to always be on alert.
My personal life was filled with these sort of things, we were bred to become military folk after we would graduate High School, it was just the way things were. One would need to be a “Military Brat” to truly understand! One thing always stood out with all of us, living in other Countries of the world as Military Brats, we learned that there is horrible Price to be paid for our Freedom. Whom better to fill the needed shoes for that endeavor, than the Military Brats?! We lived together on the same bases, went to school together and we began to think alike, because of our Lives on these bases. I grew up, with my Mom sewing together my own set of Fatigues, my own jump boots, BB Guns and Pellet Guns and the ever present game of war. It was usually World War 2, Germany vs. the USA, or the Japanese vs. The USA and this was not strange for us, or our Parents, it was our lives!
There is one thing that I still remember the most, everyone on the base got along together, we bent together, yet never break. It was all of us, against the rest of the world and we were happy with that, yet again, no one would ever understand this, unless you were a Military Brat. As I stated we would bend together, yet it would always cost the other side tremendously. For us there was never any Glory in Failure and that was never part of our Vocabulary!
We lived in a number of other places as well, yet every place was like all the rest, we were Military Families and we stuck together, no matter what came our way. The Military back in those days was very unique, Family oriented was just the beginning! Obviously, there is a difference in today’s workings in the Military. In those days, the entire USA backed the Military, no matter what was going on, something of a throw-back to the World War 2 days. How sad is it to see what was and what is today!
The Holy Word of God is full of “Togetherness”, such as Learning to Love one another. It would kill us when our Friends would rotate back to the States or to another PCS (Permanent Change of Station) Station. Yet we learned to make new Friends where ever we or they would go, because we were One Big Family of Military people and we only had each other.
How odd is it…today everyone is now so selfish, “It’s all about ME!” I fail to understand this change!
Back in those days in school, we began with the “Pledge of Allegiance to the US Flag” and then there was a “Prayer spoken over the Speakers.” Our days began with our Love for our Lord God and our Country, try and find that happening now days! So now we wonder why everything is constantly falling apart?! You begin to wonder why our Families are failing and falling apart?! Has anyone come to the same conclusion that “Selfishness” is a Sin?!
Matthew 11:28-30 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
John 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”
Perfect examples of “Togetherness!” Coming together for the Love of all concerned, do you see where this world has failed?! And so now you begin to understand how the People of the Greatest Generation, were taken advantage of by so many scams. Those villains played on this “Togetherness” feeling they had for each other, their desire of so many years to be one really Big Family! “They Fought together and they died Together!” They were always willing to uphold the Holy Word of God!
My Friends…this is why I say, things will never get any better, it will only get worse, until the “Day of the Lord!” The “Rapture” is not a joke! It will take place just as the Bible has continued to say it will, there is no escape, unless you go with the Lord God Almighty…Jesus Christ!
When the Lord God created this Universe, HE had a Plan, a Perfect Plan and it all began with Jesus Christ…HE IS GOD! So go ahead and be selfish and self-centered, worrying only about “Me” and see how far that gets you, see how much Happiness and Joy you have! Born-Again Christians will still live their lives, being Born and then one day dying, the difference is…Where they go, as compared to the Lost!
Let’s be very clear about something here! Once the “Rapture” (The Day of Christ) takes place, there will never be any more Joy or Happiness, or togetherness, Families will be a Lost cause! Once the Holy Spirit is removed from this horrible world of people, all Evil will come at everyone full force! The Defense Structure for humanity will no long exist, war and hatred will replace everything else, Hatred will be common-place across the Globe. Death, as has never been seen before, will be a constant threat! All the animals across the Globe, from the smallest to the greatest, will no longer fear mankind! Disease will be rampant everywhere and Medical Assistance will no longer be available to anyone, as a matter of Fact, the worst of Diseases will be common and will claim the lives of Millions of people on a daily basis! Do you think I am kidding?!
2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” Read it an weep ya’ll…if you miss coming to Jesus Christ!
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
