To Spread Your Pearls Before Swine

I wonder, how many times do any of us, develop the wrong ideas about others, when we should actually be looking inside ourselves at our thoughts, our beliefs. Is it possible, WE are wrong and not them? How many times do we take, what they say out of context, or maybe we have “Prejudged” them for a different reason and that can quickly become a very long list. Here’s an example;
As a very young man, Black people didn’t have anything to do with me, obviously I was too light colored, therefore I was considered white. The Orientals were the same way, no slanted eyes, too lightly complected. On the other hand, Latinos would speak to me in Spanish, which I didn’t understand, they walked away as well. When meeting other White Folk, my Dad would introduce us as his International Family, they would look at us kids and you could see the questions in their eyes. Such are the people of this broken world, with bigotry being everywhere, thus I grew up an angry young man. The thing that always stuck in my mind was, do they not understand, there is someone inside this body, that just wants to be Friends, wants to laugh and get along, just like everyone else?
Skipping to today, my angry past has given me a face, that shows the anger I had to deal with for all those years! Besides that I am an older American Indian (Dena’ina) and for whatever reason, we just are not pretty looking people in old age. So much so, the Jehovah-Witness that come into our area to evangelize, will cross the street and walk on the other side, just to avoid me! They haven’t taken a single moment to say a word to me, so Bigotry is alive and well. I know another as well, being an Elder now, I have walked into a store lately, carrying my American Indian “Spirit Stick”. I have had a person or two walk up, look me in the face and say “HOW!” Unbeknownst to them, I carry my “Spirit Stick” as a way to open talks about Jesus Christ, as HE is my “Spirit-ual Father”. These people would say what they wanted to say and then run off laughing. The Phrase is appropriate, “You can’t fix Stupid”!
It is by no means funny, that we who are not of Jewish Decent, are called Gentiles. I had a Catholic Priest, call me a Heathen, one day in an elevator in the Hospital where I worked. So yes, I am a Gentile. And what is more important, Jesus Loves me as much as anyone else! My Lord and Savior knows all too well, about Bigotry! HE continually works in the lives of people everyday, every where and yet they still turn their backs on HIM, that is the Ultimate bigotry! Why? HE died on a Roman Cross as a Sacrifice for you and me, HE hung there and bled and died, to give us the greatest GIFT ever! And still as yet, look at everyone around you, notice how they behave. Their collective Ir-reverence for HIS Love and Sacrifice! If you understand this, then you are acutely aware of Bigotry and it’s consequences throughout the world. It is the most difficult to change.
Let me ask you a REAL question here, which is more important to you? His Skin Color or HIS Gift to you and me and everyone else in this world?
Matthew 5:17-18 “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”
John 3:16-18 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
Tell me, my Friends…where is the Bigotry in that?! After 2,000 years +, WE are the Bigots. WE are the Fallen, HE did NOT fail us, WE have failed HIM! HE has said this in so many ways and still the vast majority miss the point. It is HIS Love for us, that HE died on that Cross! HE does NOT care what color you are, or where you have come from, or even what you have done in your past…HE wants to save YOU none the less! NOW….THAT my Friends…is the Greatest Gift ever!
“Romans 3:10-24 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”
“13 Their throat is an open sepulcher; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
“19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:”
“23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:”
So here we are, THINKING we are what it’s all about, Whining and fighting for what we think is right and the entire time, we are so regrettably WRONG! It quickly becomes, and is noticeably Apparent…just how bad off we really are, just how wrong we truly are and this being evident, we should be more than just HUMBLED before such a Righteous God! And to think of our Blasphemy to the Lord on a second by second basis, we should be rubbed out of existence. What Makes the difference is always HIS LOVE for us!
Some where along the way, we have continued to fall from HIS graces! We have gathered together to tell God how things will be, we have created Ecumenism, that all will someday be in Heaven, one way or the other! Did you or did you not…read the verses above?! Those verses are TRUTH…from the Lips of a “JUST and RIGHTEOUS GOD”! Everyone will NOT make it to Heaven! BE sure of this; Here are some verses that will sting worse than anything you could ever think of;
Matthew 7:21-23 “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
That does not just singe your tail-feathers, it burns deep within your heart, because there are many this will apply to, especially in these days and times. If not that, then how about this;
Matthew 7:1-6 “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye. Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you..”
As with anything, like Bigotry or Blasphemy, we are so fallen…we are worse than that still, we can’t even hide under whale dung, without being noticed by HIM! Stop and think on this, we can’t even learn how to get along with one another, how are we suppose to approach God Almighty, if it isn’t with our faces in the dirt?! All of us should be crying and begging for the Lord to pick us up and clean us off, even as filthy as we all are. Another Testament to HIS Grace and Love for us, despite our despicable state! And yet, everyday we read emails from some, that persuade others NOT to seek out the Lord God Almighty and ask for HIS forgiveness for our SIN and degradation! Instead we must consistently be watchful for “Thieves in Wolves Clothing”, because they are never willing to give up and seek the Lord in their Lives.
Instead of Seeking Jesus Christ, many in this New Generation want to say there are many ways to God! How wrong can anyone be?! Instead of seeking the Lord through HIS Holy Word the Bible, we choose to give a different account of Jesus. We seek to be Popular and Wealthy, instead of being Justified and Sanctified through the Blood Jesus gave on the Cross at Calvary. Instead of seeking HIS Perfect Will in our lives, we choose to make things more “Comfortable” for ourselves and we end up misleading others, moving them away from Christ, instead of to HIM!
In the two most common, Bigotry and Blasphemy, we have disgraced ourselves and shoved others away, preferring to stick to our own kind, our own ways of doing things, rather than the ways of Jesus Christ and HIS Will in this world. No one wants to take any Responsibility or to be found Accountable for our own actions, for the thoughts of our Heart, The Intent of our own Hearts toward others! And we never accept the Fact, this is what we should be concerned with, as we walk among others. This is what we should be concerned with, as we walk with our ABBA Father!
Some have asked me why I choose to reference John 3:16 in my Articles, this is the exact point, it is God’s Love for us…that makes the difference! When we finally come to this realization, we then see where we fail every time…yet HE…NEVER fails us! As a Verse from the Word of God, it should be understood that it “Points to God” as the ONLY way we should be walking! Suddenly we are so very aware of our position in the times to come, the Rapture and the Tribulation and whether we will truly be with the Lord in Heaven or not…it’s that simple, my Friends!
