Your Ticket to Heaven must be HIS Blood!

The vast majority of people today, are overwhelmed by their own self-initiated priorities, however important they feel these priorities may be. It is true we must work in order to be able to eat, or to be clothed and sheltered, but there are a few things that need to be considered – prior to these. We find these priorities given their particular value in Gods Holy Word the Bible.

Matthew 6:25-34 “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”

“Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”

“Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.”

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” (Emphasis is mine)

I often wonder why people go to church, in their $1500.00 outfits, driving their Mecedes-Benz or BMW’s? To whom are they wearing these for? If they are truly seeking God and HIS righteousness, why should these things matter to them? If they are truly born-again Christians, why would they be doing these things, if it is not to bring attention to themselves and nothing to God? I remember a saying “I must learn to walk the walk and not to talk the talk”! Is it not evident that this is the case here, people talking about their Salvation, but when it comes to Humility before the Lord God Almighty…well, it is evident that becomes a different story.

How much time do we spend with the Lord in Prayer, asking for HIS Wisdom in our day? People like to talk a good game plan, but is this the content of their hearts? As the Bible says, are we a Fig Tree bearing good fruit…or not? Hey…it’s a simply question, to look at yourself and ask if how you are acting is Honoring Jesus Christ or not, right?

Okay, lets be brutally honest here. If you are doing all the things above, then you are being a hypocrite just like the Pharisee’s and Sadducee’s. If those same people made Jesus mad, then what is that saying of those of us that present the exact same offense? And to note here, Jesus Christ called them a “Brood of Vipers”! Ya think maybe Jesus is telling us something here? Trust me on this point, it is not just for the wealthy here. Remember this, anything that detracts from the Lord God Almighty – is absolutely WRONG!!

We need to understand something here, God is Righteous and Pure in every way! So if that is true, where do we all stand against HIM? If there is one SIN in your life, you are as a dirty rag and that’s the name of that tune! It’s in the Word of God and we must all be reading and learning to understand the Bible. Makes me wonder, if the parking lot is full of expensive cars, will a homeless person be willing to walk in the front door and be received in a likable manner? The Lord God has already stated that HE will provide for our NEED…or have you already forgotten the Passage of Scripture above?

I am not sitting here and barking at you without looking in mirror! I know I have been wrong before, but I also know to admit my failings and ask the Lord to forgive me. It is because of HIS Love and Grace…that HE forgives me and puts me back on the road again. No one is perfect and since each of us are Humans, each of us are wrong because of our SIN. We are already condemned because we have SIN in our Lives, YET…it is the Blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross that covers our SIN and makes us presentable before such a Righteous and Just God! There’s our CLUE to Salvation and it has nothing to do with any of us, rich, poor or in between!

I will no longer sit here and accept that some do not know of Jesus Christ! Everyone, everywhere, knows about Jesus Christ! It is the matter of our SIN and whether or not our SIN is covered by HIS Blood from the Cross at Calvary! That my Friends is the focus of the Word of God! That is the Gospel of Jesus Christ! If there is anything else taught, anywhere, for any reason, then it is NOT of God! If you attend a Church because the sermons make you “Feel good about yourself” guess what? That church is NOT preaching the Word of God or the Gospel of Jesus Christ!! Run away from it as fast as your feet and your BMW can carry you! Find a Church that preaches Jesus Christ and HIS sacrifice on the Cross at Calvary! Find a Church where you walk out, you KNOW beyond shadow of doubt, that your only way to Heaven is through the Shed Blood of Jesus Christ.

Has it never occurred to anyone, that Prosperity here is NOT what the Word of God is all about? Has it never occurred to anyone that the Hymns we sing…should be fervent Prayers to the Lord to sustain us and help us to grow…in HIM?! Of what use are the Hymns, if they fall on deaf Hearts?! What use is a sermon that does NOT convict an Unsaved Life? What use is a sermon or teaching that does NOT remind us of our continuous need for Jesus Christ in every aspect of our lives?! Don’t tell us of your accomplishments in this life, this life is temporal! Tell us of what the Lord does in life at every turn, tell us of your need in HIM! Forget to simply talk about HIM, show us how you walk with HIM! Has it never occurred to anyone, that Church is to show us how to bind ourselves to Jesus Christ and walk with HIM at every second of every minute of our lives?!

We are here to make a single decision of whether to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of our lives or to turn away from HIM…THAT IS IT!!

The Bible states, in no uncertain terms, if anything else is being taught, by anyone, they are to be accursed of GOD. Salvation comes through Jesus Christ and HIS shed blood on the Cross of Calvary and NOTHING MORE OR LESS! Everything in the Bible works together to make sure that we understand that bottom line! You and I are here to follow Jesus Christ to Heaven for Eternity and that comes through HIS sacrifice at Calvary. If your SIN is NOT covered by HIS precious Blood…YOU are LOST for Eternity!

If the Lord touches your heart in some way…and you notice it…then answer HIM! There is only one reason you and I are here and that is to decide where we want to be after we leave here! So the final note is, will it be Heaven or Hell for you? Your Decision makes that end come true for you and only for you! You either answer HIS call or you don’t, there are no excuses, no special pardons, no other way! HIS Blood on your ticket, is the ONLY way to Heaven!

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
