Thinking is Needful

Proverbs 18:1-3 – “Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom. A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself. When the wicked cometh, then cometh also contempt, and with ignominy (Shame Reproach) reproach.”
I typically, do not write about such things, as according to the Passage of Scripture above, but…I believe it is time. I read in many areas that people do NOT want to take part in protecting themselves, or others, during this Pandemic. I have read as well, some in Congress are denying the American people of needed help, in many different fashions…why?! And then, when people catch the Virus, as in many other scenarios in life, they fail to understand their predicament. “Well…I didn’t do anything wrong!”
Sometimes, you just have to sit there and stare at them! “Where is the Common Sense??” You may ask. Honestly, I have No idea!
Maybe I am dating myself, but what happened to Parents teaching their children “Common Sense”?! I look at the schools and they no longer have “PT for everyone, or even Home Ec for the girls or Shop for the boys.” My Grandson is having school now on his Laptop…” WHAT?!?” And I understand that this is to protect the students from Covid-19 virus…it’s a good thing ya’ll. Again, I am dating myself, but how does one go to school on a laptop?!
The Lord God instilled in many of us, yet not all (Evidently), good old-fashioned Common Sense. Problem is now, how many are actually using that?! Where was the Idea of locking down the Nursing Homes…when the virus first showed up?! Trust me Friends, I do NOT believe this Virus was anything but…man-made! Where was that?! It does not matter where! Evil men, doing evil things…is enough! And then, to whom does this Virus effect the most…the Elderly, the sick and the very young! Well…of course! How else does one control the populace, than to eradicate the infirmed, the burdens on society?! Euthanasia…evidently was not enough…am I correct?! Evidently, Abortion was not enough either!
Let me ask you a question. Lets say they create something to eradicate the Old, the Sick, the mentally infirmed, the babies…all in one swoop. How will people be afterward? Sadly, they will never be happy, as if they are now. They will endeavor to find another “Flaw” in others and then they will try and eradicate those people as well. Problem is, these people will end up having to bake their own loaves of bread and then they will be unhappy all over again. They would not be able to drive to a store and buy their bread. Is any of this making any sense to everyone?! Everyone is needful and necessary!
Stop and think ya’ll. No Toilet paper manufacturers, no need for big-rigs, no big-rigs, no toilet paper and everyone will be using leaves again. There would be no fast food places, no more hamburgers unless you go out an butcher a cow. No Refrigeration businesses, your beef would spoil in a day, so on and so forth! I believe you get the idea here. Point being and as the Bible states, “A fool does not want to understand anything.” If the Holy Word of God says something…everyone ought to be willing to listen! We NEED everyone else, they are important!
John 13:34 – “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.”
I don’t care if you shovel you-know-what! It matters that you bring the baskets up from the parking area. It matters that you drive a Big-rig, are a Baker, a Butcher and a candlestick maker! Everyone is needful and we thinkers need to remember this. If you are not a thinker, then maybe you need to learn to be a thinker. The world continues to turn, by everyone doing what they were meant to do and KNOWING that they are important and needful.
My Friends, the poster-children in Congress…need to remember this…and so many other things as well. WE..the people of this world, of this country, are needful, we are all important and necessary! Please remember the above Passage of Scripture, John 13:34.
It may be silly to say, But if they only had themselves to talk with, soon enough they would grow tired and disillusioned with themselves! A bullet through the brain. How sad is it, when people are so selfish and inconsiderate of others! Those are NOT the Thinkers and they do not understand…what does the Bible call them?? A Fool.
