The Trouble with our Sin!

I often wonder, how many in the world understand the Word of God, when it talks about Sin and the effects that Sin has on the average Human Being? Oh I do know that few will be willing to read what the Word of God says about Sin. Problem is, too few read it and then understand why everything is the way it is. So let’s take a moment and look at this serious situation, Sin’s effects on the Spirit and Bodies of those that do not wish to follow Jesus Christ.

Before I get into this, I must also remind those that go to church or say they are Christians, yet they have never asked Jesus Christ into their Hearts and lives. I beg to let you know, there are a great many that give the Lord God…”Lip Service”…rather than to Praise and Worship HIM…as their Lord and Savior. Ya walk into the Church and suddenly you feel the Holiness of the building, the air smells so fresh and clean, thus the Lord God must be there. And yet, the Lord is not there, because there is no mention of HIS saving Grace to each of us, there is no real Honor being given to HIM as our God. We enjoy the Music and there is always a “Feel Good Sermon.” Or it could be that there is a sermon of how the Lord wants us to “Prosper financially” or that we need to “Plant a Seed” and watch the “Windfall of money into our Bank Accounts.” Oh Yes! We love all of that! Make me happy Lord!

Proverbs 17:18-25 “A man void of understanding striketh hands, and becometh surety in the presence of his friend. He loveth transgression that loveth strife: and he that exalteth his gate seeketh destruction. He that hath a froward heart findeth no good: and he that hath a perverse tongue falleth into mischief. He that begetteth a fool doeth it to his sorrow: and the father of a fool hath no joy. A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment. Wisdom is before him that hath understanding; but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth. A foolish son is a grief to his father, and bitterness to her that bare him.”

There seems to be a great deal of pain in the Passage of Scripture above, especially when we read where Sin (A Broken Heart) dries up the bones. Do you by chance know of anyone, that fits that particular Passage of Scripture? Have you ever wondered how anyone is able to see the results of Sin in this world? How about in Disease or in Famine and Drought, how about in O.C.D. and Depression, maybe through someone that has taken their own life, you know Suicide? And we look around ourselves and see all the War and rumors of War, or the Threats by so many groups of people around the world, whether it be for Religion or Politics. How about those riots and unruly people, property damage, strife and pain in others, racial tension…do ya think their bones hurt something awful?!

Maybe we need to look at the Veterans that fought for our Freedoms and how they are being treated and no one is doing anything about it! Or maybe we need to visit the Homes for the Elderly, the Sick and the dying and check to see if there is any hope or Love left for them?! How many people, like the Veterans and the Elderly, wander about with no one to love them or care about them, left alone like discarded trash. How many people want Euthanasa of the Old and infirmed, because they are seen as a drag on resources and they ought to simply give up and go away?!

How many people are at home or in the Hospitals, that are sick and dying with different cancers and other lethal infections. People now days are treated worse than many animals, sick and starving, for many things and many reasons. And how many Abortions are taking place every month or every year, simply because they (The Babies) are now a nuisance or in the way of someones life. How about the rise in STD’s all around the USA? How many countries across the planet are not able to provide clean drinking water, much less how many people in these countries get one square meal a day?!

How many of the Elderly are not on Social Security, they were once farmers or ranchers, they supplied the food for others, but their golden years are filled with uncertainty and dismay. They have no where or to anyone to turn to and even some have children that simply turn their backs on them! They are discarded into “Old Folks Homes.” Pretty picture isn’t it?!

How many on Social Security, do not have the funds available for medication and food at the same time and they are forced to choose one or the other. It’s already tough enough to grow old, yet now they are forced to give up their dignity and seek Welfare or help from a few churches or other organisations. They feel it would be better to simply die and get it all over with, than to suffer such indignation. I have personally watched a man go through “Butt Trays and cans” for a smoke, cigarettes discarded by others. Never once thinking about the possibility of disease being transmitted to his own body from some others that are already infected and smoking. You don’t want to wonder where they get their water from or how clean that water may be and what about food?!

So now how do you feel about all the Sin in this world?! It effects far too many, it is not only the poor that suffer. How about all the Schizophrenics, the manic depressives, are there any words of Hope for them?! You might be surprised by how many of these come from wealth! Their money would never protect them for many of these things. So then they die and what happens then?! Someone raises a Stone Monument in their remembrance, how wonderful…right?! Wall Street is full of them! No one cares to educate them on their Lives of depravity…oh you never counsel a wealthy man or woman.

Proverbs 16:18 “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall..”

Ooops…we forgot all about that verse…right?! And so how does that work out for the wealthy, do ya think they have a haughty Spirit?! Do you think they are ever convinced of their own Prideful ways?! And so then we must look at ourselves, do we place ourselves above that of others, to the point we never look at their particular position, their fallen state?! How about the sayings; “Live and let live” and it can get even worse, “Do it to them before they have a chance to do it to you!” Maybe “It’s all about ME!!” Do you ever wonder if this is Sin?! Are any of us guilty of these same sayings in our lives?!

As we watch others, which should have us looking at ourselves, we may wonder about our own caloused responses to others! I wonder about “Gossip”?! Isn’t that a form of defamation of someone else’s character, like Character assassination?! Have I stepped on someones toes here?! I am so sorry! Do you think I have examined myself and found these things in my Life?! Is it Sin?! You Know it is!

Matthew 11:28-30 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

John 14:5-7 “Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.”

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Jeremiah 17:9-10 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”

It would appear, that the Lord God is speaking directly at you and I and we can read that HE is calling it like it truly is! Our world, our Country is on the edge of collapse! And it all goes right back to our own Sin….we have cursed ourselves, through our disbelief and dishonor of the Lord God Almighty!

The Rapture of the Church is indeed coming and it is very, very, close…far closer than most of us are willing to recognise and after the Rapture, will come the Tribulation! All these things are in the Holy Word of God and have been so for better than 4500 years! Why is it that so few are willing to read the Word of God and believe it…do you think our own Sin is standing in the way?! Let’s clearly understand something here, the Lord God never wanted our lives to be this way, we have chosen it for ourselves, because we have turned our backs on HIM! The ONLY way to Heaven and the Throne of God, is through the Blood of Jesus Christ from the Cross at Calvary…and that is it!

No remission of Sin, through the the Covering of our Sin by the Blood of Jesus Christ, there will never be any Heaven for you! The Lord God said it in HIS Holy Word the Bible and I believe it! Are YOU saved to Jesus Christ?! Is your Sin covered by HIS Blood?! That is the most important question ever!

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
