The Signs are Everywhere!

The Signs are Everywhere!
By Don Twobears

I know that the Holy Word of God, is able to speak to all of us, here on earth, at the same time and at the exact same time, it can speak to a single Individual as well. Oddly enough, there is no other book of this caliber, that is able to do the exact same thing. And so, they want to deny the Validity of the Bible, as the Holy Word of God…as in from HIS lips to our ears?! I am insanely mortified by their considerable ineptitude! Right…Ya’ll?

thesignsareeverywhereIs it considerably odd as well, when we read passages of Scripture;

Matthew 24:44 “Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yours+*96elves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

Are the words of these two Passages of Scripture, speaking to the whole of humanity or an individual? Or could it be that it is speaking to both at the exact same time? I enjoy a saying I have heard before, “Well, we need to look at this and then see if we are where, we need to be?” Or could that saying be, an individual that has no idea of what they should be thinking, when in regard to this particular situation? Think on it, a length of words that say absolutely nothing. Sort of like Politics…right?

Obviously, these passages are talking about the Rapture taking place and it will be “At a time when you think not” and then a time “When they say…Peace and Safety.” So I was out front, sitting on the front porch and I began thinking about this. Was it talking to all of Humanity or just an Individual? Then I remembered being taught, to read the verses before that passage and the ones after it as well. In other words, take in as much information on the issue as is available. Maybe the use of Strong’s Concordance may be useful.

The Breakdown…..”Ye Think Not”

“ye think not” by Strong’s Concordance, is a verb, an action of thought. In other words, whatever it was, that you thought was going on, was not correct, it was different. Yet again, is this for the Individual or for the whole? It can be used singularly and as a multiple. That’s the challenge my Friends and yet, it can be used personally as well. The point is this, the Lord is coming! So in my mind, does the usage of the passage, as in The whole or the Individual, really matter, if the point remains the same?!

It would appear that, we like to see things for our selves, as in “how will this effect me?” I believe this to be true, because we see the world through our individual eyes and then apply our own logic to it. We could also utilize “Rationalization” for the word “Logic”. In that we seldom see anything according to the Laws of Logic, Rationalization would appear more correct. So in that configuration, we would be seeing things in the world taking place and thinking one thing…when something altogether different is going on. Again, “The Rapture, the Day of the Lord, will come as a thief in the night.”

The Breakdown…..”Peace and Safety”

Peace and Safety” according to Strong’s Concordance, a state of national tranquillity, exemption from the rage and havoc of war. Peace between individuals, i.e. harmony, concord, security, safety, prosperity, felicity, (because peace and harmony make and keep things safe and prosperous.

So in my mind, everyone will be talking about “Peace and Safety”, even though all we see is war and hostilities every where. And then we input “When we think not” to the above, we will be immensely surprised. Thus whether it is Individual or all of Humanity, everyone is going to be in for a surprise of Biblical Proportions! And the particular viewpoint is a non-issue…right?!

My Conclusion

Evidently, there will be some that will suddenly disappear and the majority will be left behind, would that be a fair appraisal? In this light we must consider how many are lost and how many are already saved. We must also consider what we read in the Holy Word of God;

Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find it.”

As I have stated before, that one little word…FEW…is profound, to say the least! I suddenly have issues with the “Peace and Safety” statements and then I think…that is in the future! Yet for whom are these passages of Scripture written for or to whom and when will they impact us? To think that these words are written in the “Present Tense” and yet they have not taken place as of yet. They boggle the mind to say the least. It is obvious though, that the Parameters have already been set, were set at the writing of the Word of God…which would be…when they were spoken by God Almighty! Let us not forget…

John 1:1-3 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”

I will definitely be talking about this once again, because this can’t be left alone thus far. Or at least how I have begun this discussion. The Rapture is so very, very, close and so few realize this fact and as of now days, it would be fair to say many have given up on the Rapture.

A life with Jesus Christ is a life of never ending changes. I know this because our every minute of life here on earth so closely resembles the facts of the Word of God, in how we should live every minute. Our lives and our Physical Surroundings were created to be a certain way for a reason. For example; We must make a choice with every thought we have, just as we must choose whether it will be Jesus Christ we follow or not. Any other idea, would be against the Lord God Almighty, thus it is Sin. That is an Individual position, thus it is personal and it must be dealt with on a Personal Basis with Jesus Christ.

Obviously, everyone would like to go to Heaven and they feel they are “Good Enough People” to be in Heaven. It is a fact, no one is good enough…because of our Sin! Thus Jesus Christ is the ONLY answer! Whatever happens with any one individual, the Rapture is going to take place, that is a future fact. The Passages above, are but SIGNS of what is taking place and what will be happening here on earth, as the Rapture comes and goes.

It is also evident, the Rapture and/or our own death, is nothing more than a change in form and definitely NOT the End, as some would like to see it. The most obvious problem for most is this, they are not able to distinguish the difference between what is physical (Earthly) and what is Spiritual (Heavenly). When one dwells strictly on the physical…the Spiritual comes off as surreal. The one thing they miss, they want everything to be special and pleasurable, yet they run to the tortures of Hell and the Lake of Fire. They continually think of this life, as being the only life there will ever be! Yet they know about Death. How odd is that?! Thus the Choice must be made!

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

I use the King James version of the Bible and all emphasis is mine.
