The Emphasis on YOU!

So many things are going on right now, some of it is good and a lot of it is really bad! Humans are “Social Beings” meaning they like the attendance of others in their lives. The problems begin when these “Other People” influence someone to do or say things that are “Just Plain Wrong!”

I am sure that you are able to relate to this Phenomenon, because of sites like “Facebook.” So am I saying this site and others like it, are wrong or bad for us? Not at all…by in-large. Again, we enjoy reaching out to others that have a similar Mind-set as we do, that enjoy the things and people that we do. So again, I ask the question, is this wrong of us? Lets stop for a moment and think on this.

As I said, “We” enjoy…this or that. “We” enjoy those that think as we do. This should be said a little differently…”I” enjoy…this or that. “I” enjoy those that think as “I” do. Does this now make any sense to you? I am no different than you or anyone else, “I” think in the personal present tense as well. Is it not obvious that everyone is always “thinking in the Present tense of self?” How else would we be able to conduct our lives, in the manner we wish, if we did not think in terms as an Individual. Each with our own likes and dislikes and so this will include those really good days and times, as well as those days of Turmoil and Tribulation.

The Holy Word of God, the Bible, proves this to you and I, by saying everything concerning “You!” All of the stories are meant to be read with the emphasis on the Individual and how it may relate to your life. “Jesus Christ went and Died on a Cruel Roman Cross, shed HIS Blood, for YOU!” HIS Precious Blood covers your and my Sin…IF we ask for HIS Forgiveness! Again, we see the Individual here, the Individual Jesus Christ First…and then down to you…and I. Are you able to now see this is an Individual scenario, the Relationship…Between YOU and HIM…Jesus Christ, Individual to Individual?

How odd is it then, that we “Rally the Troops” or in other words “Bring a togetherness” of persons? This then, turns out to be, YOU going to church, it is NOT a social gathering, it is individual from beginning to end. It is YOU going to church to Praise and Worship the Lord, just as much as anyone else who might happen to be there. This will give rise to the understanding, it is YOU on your own knees, coming before a very Righteous and Just FATHER, asking for Forgiveness of your Sin and a desire to be more like HIM. Again we see the Individual to Individual relationship, although it is in a more “Social Gathering.” When we view these things now, we see that it is all about HIM, according to our lives…there is NO Plural here! One on One, Mono e’ Mono!

It is because the Lord created us to be Social Beings, that we tend to see everything in the “Social or Plural Sense.” Here’s an example;

Matthew 11:28-30 “Come unto ME, all ye (You) that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye (You) shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

It does not get any more “Personal or Individual” than that! This is a statement by our Lord and Savior, that is strictly…one to one!

So now the Burning Question is, why am I stating this. Lets use some more Scripture to highlight this particular situation. Because again, the Holy Word of God…IS from one individual to another, from HIM to you. The significance will be undeniable.

Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

Galatians 3:26 “For ye (You) are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.”

The Word of God is rife with sayings just like these and every single WORD is meant to be to YOU from our FATHER in Heaven! How odd is then, that we feel Sanctified or Holy while in the midst of others? “I feel so Holy…and then comes the “Self Factor”..can see this in ME?!” And the whole thing removes the Lord God…and places the emphasis on YOU. Wrong though this is, it takes place all the time and just about every where we turn…and on occasion…in you or I. “Well…I am this or that…and YOU…well…!” Can you see the “More Holy than you”, in this?! Come on folks, we know this to be true in each of us at some point in time. In YOU and I!

How in the world do you think, “It’s all about ME” thing got started to begin with?! It is the Individual, wanting the greater populace to recognize them! Thus they jump up on the pedestal and for most, parade around (In whatever manner). Problem is, where does the YOU fit into their actions? Is there a Plurality in this, or is this just an INDIVIDUAL thing? Yet they want you to adore them, person to person…just don’t try and touch them, okay. And so we understand something else here as well, our Sin takes on a more personal emphasis!

And what about all those, like the Hollywood types, running around in their Birthday Suits?! Is their Sin personal, only for them, or are they sharing that Sin with YOU?! Is it not odd that, you are not required to look at them, much less think the thoughts that you do? How obvious is it that, Sin is so contagious! It’s worse than a Bacterial infection! And then we hear that little white Lie “Oh come on now…it isn’t that bad! Looks like fun to me…right?!” That my Friends is very Personal indeed!

Numbers 32:23 “But if ye (YOU) will not do so, behold, ye (YOU) have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.”

1 John 1:9 “If we (You and I) confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Again there is nothing Plural in any of this, it is person to person…it is then up to YOU to choose WHOM…YOU wish to follow. Jesus Christ…GOD…to YOU! To each and every human being ever created by God the FATHER! Truth be told…I am in awe with this, how about you?!

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
