Technology…How Wonderful, Right?!

Technology is a wonderful thing, in and of itself. Yet like anything else, it can be used for the good of all or the demise of all, it just depends what you want the technology for. I doubt anyone would exclaim, that if we did not have wars, we would have a great deal more money to combat diseases of every known kind. Yet this is a qualified truth!
It was in the end of World War II that we saw the beginning of antibiotics, Penicillin to be exact, from Bread mold of all things. Yet this would become a major stepping stone for years to come and the United States was at the fore-front. The world held it’s collective breath as the United States became the dominant super-power, the dollar became the Reserve Currency of the world, we were able to afford to wage war and still be the Power-House in Medicine. Please note, the Lord God held this country in the palm of HIS hands, because we held to HIS Holy Word.
As I have stated before, School began with the Pledge of Allegiance and a Prayer, Congress would begin their work with a Prayer. Pastors and Ministers proudly Proclaimed the Lord and Sin was the disease that needed to be eradicated in all. So much for those days of a bygone era. Yet it is most astounding, that so few remember how things once were, as compared to how things are today. It is to our discredit, that we have viewed those things and those days, as “Old Fashioned”, just as they view the Holy Word of God as “Old Fashioned.” The “Oxymorons” then wonder what is wrong with today and they never once are willing to look to the past and make the needed adjustments accordingly.
Back in the day, I must have been in first Grade or so, my Dad was stationed at Lackland AFB, we lived on the base. My Mom and Dad were able to purchase a “Swamp-Cooler.” We spent an hour or so, getting the Swamp-Cooler setup, the hose attached and to run the needed water, please understand, this thing was HUGE! Anyway, once it was turned on, we began to marvel at how wonderful this contraption truly was, technology had provided us with Cool Air in our HOT south Texas days and nights. The downside was that, it left a sheen of moisture on everything in the close vicinity, on our skin as well, because we decided to sleep on the floor right in front of it. In that day, it was the talk of the town. Of course, this was just a few of the wonderful things technology afforded us at the time. Of course a one ton Television, in Black and White, on a 13 inch screen, was still quite the marvel. I remember my Mom starching and ironing my Dads uniforms and watching the first Soap-operas.
Today, we can watch almost 500 channels of Television with a simple Cable hookup and Projection devices allow us to use an entire wall as a TV. I still remember in 1984, building my first home computer and I was so amazed to have 250mb of room on a hard drive. We had voice modems at 92 kb in speed and I learned to use DOS to move around on the Net. I thought I was at the cutting edge of technology! Today I have a computer with a Quad-core processor and an unlimited screen size if I use a Projector. We are in the time of Gigabits, instead of Kilobits, Solid State Hard Drives instead of 250 kb, 5 inch floppy disks. I paid $200.00 for all the parts for my First Computer and today, there are Computers selling for $24,000.00 if one is able to purchase such a thing. Today’s Smart Phones are faster and bigger in bit-storage than my first computer ever was, so technology is definitely not standing still.
It is in truth, here in the USA, we have eradicated such disease processes as the Plague, Tuberculosis and Leprosy, yet we can’t cure the common cold, how odd is that? We have taken the Antibiotics to the point that diseases recur, because we have made these diseases Antibiotic resistant. For instance, we thought we had eradicated Measles, not so today, children are dying from it, once again. Do you ever wonder what all is going on now, as compared to times past? Do we not think, technology should be beyond this sort of thing, we should be prospering like no other?! So…what is the answer?!
Mark 13:26 “And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.”
Revelation 1:7 “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.”
Technology is here for a reason and it has nothing to do with making everyone happier. It is to fulfill Biblical Prophecy, just as the verses above prove. How else is everyone going to see the Son of Man, Jesus Christ come and everyone is able to watch this, as HE collects HIS Elect?! In a statement, they will be able to watch this event in High Definition or at least in 1080 resolution. There will be no doubt in their minds, what all is taking place and by whom! That will include being able to hear in 7.1 Dolby Digital surround sound!
Has it never occurred to anyone, that everything here on earth is a facsimile?! And it is a very, very poor facsimile at that, because it is meant for only here on earth. Where as, the Lord God Almighty will create a Heaven so much more real than we could ever imagine in our minds, so much more exacting and it will last forever! And by the same token, Hell will be more than anyone would be able to imagine, Horror like no other and again it will last forever, without end.
Revelation 9:1-5 “And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.”
Hey…don’t blame me, this IS the Word of God! I say all of this, to note, that everything happening today, was written in God’s Holy Word the Bible, a long time ago! Born-Again Christians know this to be the Prophecy of the Word of God! What is so odd is this, the world is falling apart and people have turned away from the Lord God and they are suffering like never before…because of that! These people are the exact ones that say the Holy Word of God is Old Fashioned, out of date with today’s sophistication.
The Bible is indeed very Old, yet…how is it, that all of the Prophecies are all 100% true and fulfilled thus far? And if that is the Truth, then why are so few reading the Word of God and accepting it as Truth?! If you wish to be prosperous, you take what was once truth and build on that with new techniques, yet knowing the Truth is still there. Since that is the true case, why do so few ever look to the Word of God?! Being that it is over 4500 years old and filled to brim with Truth, the fact that all the Prophecies thus far have come true, you would think this would be of use to everyone, making all Prosperous! Is that not what happened in the lean years of the United States, that brought it to World renown, as a The World Super-Power?!
It is because the USA entering World War II, that Nazism, fascism, and the Bushido-ism of Germany and Japan failed. We were once a God-fearing Nation! Today we want to eradicate anything to do with God, from our Lives and those lives of our Children, do you NOT see the connection here?! You wonder why we are not able to defeat the Islamic State, we no longer call upon God Almighty for anything! We have chosen to remove God from our Schools and our Courts, do you NOT see that connection as well?! Ignorance is NOT bliss…when it comes to God Almighty! Get a clue ya’ll.
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
There’s your answer to everything that is failing today! We must Repent of our Sin and chose to follow Jesus Christ once again. We must remove those that stand in the way of our Prosperity according to the Holy Word of God! My Friends…there is no other way!
Isaiah 44:6 “Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.”
You would think, knowing this, everyone would want to be Prosperous and have a happy life! Yet…what do we see today, have we turned our collective backs on the Lord God Almighty?! Have we not endeavored to remove any evidence of HIM?! And then we wonder why everything is falling apart, why we die in such a manner?!
Isaiah 44:18-19 “They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand. And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue there of an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?”
Think on these things my Friends!!! How much time do you think we have left to do so, How far to the Rapture?!
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
