Such an Uncommon Love!

I was reading the Article by Grant Phillips, “Scariest of all” today and I remember my Sister and I staying up, Which was seldom, to watch a scary movie. Like Grant, my Sister and I spent more time behind the couch, than in front of it! Boy those movies were really scary, but then, they knew how to Terrify you…with what you didn’t see…rather than what you did see!

My Grandson wanted to watch “Krampus” for some reason or the other…talk about a slasher movie…it was horrible and I turned it off rather quickly. It was demonic, occult-ish at the least and I will NOT ask for demons into my home and I told my Grandson that. As I expected, he was a little miffed that I had done so, not understanding that these movies invite the vulnerable to “Experiment” if you will. NOT a good thing at all and I explained this to him…not sure he completely understood though. How sad is it, that the Uber-hype is there to watch something like that! Obviously, people have no idea what they are playing with…until something really happens!

I have stated before, that Demons are definitely real and not anything one should be messing with, no matter how innocently! I have watched “Ghost Hunters” on the TV before and today, I know that one day is coming, when they are going to wish they had never embarked on such a tour!

Having said that, I have received questions before about this sort of thing, it boggles my mind, that they have never consulted the Holy Word of God, concerning this. There is NO such thing as “Soul Sleep” even though their bodies reside in the Grave. When the person dies, their body goes into the Grave and their Spirit goes to be with the Lord, but ONLY if they belong to the Lord! The individual that has NEVER accepted the Gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ, their body goes into the Grave and their Spirit goes straight to Hell. There is NO purgatory, no waiting time, it is straight to their chosen home!

I Pray that you read Luke 16:19-31, you will then understand that the UNSAVED will go directly to where they chose to go…Hell…a place of Suffering and torment! As did the Rich man! This is as clean as being written in Black and White…it is NOT a story…but one of absolute TRUTH! This is pure evidence that this life is for the deciding FOR Christ…or FOR Satan! It is one way or the other, my Friends!

I do have a problem. When most look at 70-80 years here on earth and think that is a very long time! Personally speaking, I find that those years as a boy…were just a few months ago and I am 67 years of age! I can still feel how my Heart burst with Joy, at my very first Kiss, First Love! And I KNOW that true Love, as with my Wife of 44 years, is far better than that first Love. True Love is deeper, more solid, so very personal and Breaths Life more easily! Praise you my Lord and Savior!

Psalms 90:10 “The days of our years are threescore years and ten(70); and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years (80), yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”

My, My, MY…such a short time indeed. So how may of you have ever wondered, “Why is it so short?”

My Friends, your time here on earth…is but the very first steps…that you take in your Eternal Journey! It begins with either accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior…or NOT accepting HIM! That in and of itself, is your decision for Jesus Christ or NOT! Which ever choice you make, will decide for just little old you…of where YOUR Home in Eternity will be! That is HEAVEN or HELL!

I have heard it so many times, “Well…Just before I die, I will accept Jesus Christ. Until then, I want to have as much fun as I can!” So then my question is always…”Do you know when you will die?!” And they will always say, “No…but when I get to that bridge…I’ll then decide!” And so they choose to deny Jesus Christ…and then they do it over and over again…not realizing how hard their heart has become to the calling of the Holy Spirit…which IS God! Do they ever soften to that calling of the Holy Spirit?! RARELY! If ever!

I always wonder, do they ever realize, their death may come so quickly, that they never have a single moment to accept Jesus Christ?! Wow…what a conundrum…right?! That thought never crosses their mind…how odd is that?! To be a Fly on the wall, as they stand before Jesus Christ, at the Great White Throne of Judgement! To KNOW…your Eternity will be in Hell and then the…….??

Revelation 9:1-2 “And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.”

The Lord is Perfect in every way and HE will not force anyone to accept HIM! It is a FREE GIFT, but YOU must request it…YOU must choose it with all your Heart! There is NO other way!

As I look around myself, I see hatred like no other time, Evil and deception, Lies and Greed like no other time I know of…WE are Indeed in the “Last Days…the End of Time!” And what is worse still, how many others around us are able to see this…to know that the time to the end is so close! It makes me want to stand on the roof of my house and scream…”The end is near…Jesus Christ is standing at the door and knocking!” “Answer the door and ask HIM in!”

It would be sort of like this. A Typhoon or Hurricane, earthquake (Or some other) is coming and you KNOW it! Their reaction will always be, “How do you know this…Are you positive…are you absolutely sure?!” By the time you are able to convince them, the storm has already come and gone, everyone is dead and gone! How sad is that…the Bible has been around for better than 4500 years, Prophecy has been seen as Truth and still they are not willing to believe it! Problem is, they want a sign! Then read the Bible and then look all around yourself, take an accounting of everything…THEN you will see! “Well…I have so much to do and this is going to take so much time! Besides that, how do you know the Bible is telling the Truth?!” You get my drift now?! It’s crazy ya’ll!!

It is so frustrating at times! You want to grab them and shake them to no end! But I digress! Ya can’t do that sort of thing…Right?! You have Pray for them and then you have to go back and pray for them some more! And you have to keep Praying! Jesus Christ is the only one that can save them! And then I consider the Time we have left…all I can do is to keep writing…keep Praying…and then Pray some more! I keep seeing those Zombies…walking the Highway to destruction…shuffling along…ignorant to their demise…ignorant to their future in Eternity!

As you can see, I want everyone to go to Heaven, I have Family that I’m scared for…Friends that are so very Blind! “Well…I have my own Beliefs!” I am NOT talking about my Beliefs…I am talking about Jesus Christ…HIS Love for all of us…HIS Sacrifice for all of us…HIS Blood for our Sin! I believe in Jesus Christ…I KNOW HIS Love…HE Holds me in HIS hands!

I also know this…Once I leave this earth (In the Rapture or Death) I will no longer fear for those people. I will already know, I have given them the message…and that is all I can do! I will be with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I will be too busy Praising HIM and THANKING HIM…for HIS Love for me! Most of all, I will Praise and Thank HIM for HIS “Mercy” to me a sinner! Someone that does NOT deserve HIS extraordinary LOVE! Actually, I am already there, I can’t believe HE would LOVE someone like me…so fallen…so sinful…so ordinary! And yet I KNOW HE does LOVE me!

How does one…Thank Jesus Christ for such a gift?! When I helped to scourge and Crucify HIM! It makes me shake to no end, inside…my Heart bursts with…?? My words fail me ya’ll…!!!

I spend so much time at the foot of that Cross…I grab it and hang on…I squeeze it with all my Strength! I cry and weep…I am sorry that I have hurt HIM…when all HE ever did was to LOVE me to HIS Death! And to top it all off…HE calls me SON…HE gives me HEAVEN! Oh FATHER…Help me with the words!! AMEN! SELAH!

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
