The Light verses the Dark!

I have decided that this article will tackle a subject matter, that far too many people know anything about, or at least they are not willing to discuss. Many people have been involved with this, through out their lives at some point in time and few understand just how serious it can be for them. We know, Satan and his ilk are everywhere, doing their best to distract us, deceive us and to bring about our destruction through lies and superstition and manipulation. They hate everything about us, because we were created in the image of our God and if you don’t know it yet, Satan and his ilk…hate God! Thus they Hate you and I…with an Eternal hate!
In 1 Samuel 28 & 29, we read how King Saul consulted with a “Witch of Endor” and that much to his surprise, his future death was related to him, as well as the fall of Israel. And every spec of his life was now against the Lord and the Lord God would not be mocked in any manner, by anyone in any manner. This would be a very useful read for anyone that is looking to do anything remotely, as King Saul had.
If one is willing to read the Bible, you will find that the Lord God sees the “Fortune Tellers, Psychics and the like to be an Abomination; Truly a thing to stay far away from.
Deuteronomy 18:10-12 “There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.”
1 Chronicles 10:13-14 “So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.”
As of late, I have been asked about these things to one degree or another. I was asked about the “Ghost-Hunters” and the things they find and record and I must go with the Word of God and tell them to leave these things alone. I especially warn them of using Ouija Boards! There is no other guide to be used than the Holy Word of God! The warnings are very serious indeed!
Leviticus 19:31 “Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.”
As we see, the Word of God is very focused and adament about what we should allow in our Homes and Families, even when everything seems so innocuous, simple or unharmful. At that point you are indeed being deceived. I ask, is it not enough that the Lord God knows everything to include the future in our lives? Are we not satisfied, in that the Lord God is in charge of every second of every day? Why is it that some of us choose to run after “Ghosts” when there are none to be found? What does the dead, have to do with the living? The Holy Word of God tells us to leave the dead unto themselves.
Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 “For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.”
Ecclesiastes 12:7 “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”
Genesis 3:19 “In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”
According to the Holy Word of God, as we read above, our physical bodies came from the “Dust of the earth.” Which means that our bodies stay here, when we die. Again as above, we see that our Spirit returns to God, whom we already know created it. Having said that and as we have all read it, what or whom do you think are the “Ghosts” that are being recorded?! We already know that the Angels are Messengers of God, they work and do for the Lord God Almighty. So if someone is trying to capture a “Spirit” on camera, would it be a stretch to consider that the Spirit is a “Demon??”
Satan and his ilk are the greatest of Deceivers and as we now know, they HATE us! So my question now is, are these things that we should be endeavoring to film or in the very least to seek out?! Would it be a stretch to consider that, this sort of activity, would be on the scale of Diviners, Psychics, Sorcerers and the like?! And what does the Holy Word of God say about this?? It is an Abomination!
The Word of God also tells us that these people should be stones to death. Wow! I must stress that these things are a very serious act against the Lord God Almighty! Is it any wonder now, how decietful and wrong Hollywood truly is?! And then to think, a great many people find these things to be Helpful? In what manner are they? If you see a Rattlesnake, does it give you the Heebee-Jeebees?! If not, it ought to, they are dangerous and deadly! What mind would want to find a Demon and deal with it, or do you not know their abilities?! So what does the Bible tell you and I tro be doing?
Matthew 6:33-34 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”
That is some serious advice to behold! We need to be the “Watchers on the Wall” watching and waiting Patiently, for the return of our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ!
Just one other thing I would like to ask, maybe someone knows the answer to it. I have watched these episodes before and everytime the people go Ghost Hunting, it’s always at night. You know, supposedly at the “Witching Hour of Midnight?”
The Lord God is the God of the Living…NOT of the dead! So why would you want to spend any time with someone that is dead?! Our eyes were made for us to see and having said that and the fact that we all know it to be true, we need the light to be able to see. So…why would you want to be running around in the dark?! Considering that the dark is where all the bad stuff happens, because man and evil spirits do not want to be seen doing wrong, why would you chase anything in the dark, where they hide?! It would appear to me, of someone that wants to be hurt, would you not agree?!
Again, we hear everything about “Peace and Safety” and the fact that this is exactly what everyone wants, right?! What good is there to be found in the dark?! Is it not enough for you and I to seek the Lord and HIS Light?! Does it say the Lord God is the “Light of the world?” It would seem to me that, I would want to stay in the light, the dark has nothing in for me or you! What are your thoughts??
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
