A Lie Can Be So Destructive!

Donna Wasson’s article, “A New and Improved God,” did my heart good when I read it. She was responding to gay reader by the name of John. Praise the Lord for her and the Lord’s wisdom and discernment of His Holy Word- the Bible. Where are all of the old: “Hell, fire and damnation preachers” from the old days of tent revivals?

I remember them often. Especially as I write, I can hear their words ringing in truth from God’s Word, shouting the dismal state of affairs of humanity and what the consequence is. Believe me when I say, there was NO sleeping in those chairs back then! Nor should there be in the pews of today.

The pulpits are not empty by any stretch, they are filled with the preachers of the prosperity gospel, the “Feel Good Gospel” and other blasphemies like homosexuality, the spiritual “equality” of everyone: “God loves everyone and one day we will all be in heaven…together!” Right! Keep thinking that, because one of the things I learned working in the used automotive industry fits their billon one-hundred-percent.

“Here…at (whatever name you wish to put here) Auto Sales….WE want YOU to be happy at work.” What they never tell anyone is that the salesmen are being taken advantage of, only getting a small percentage of the sale while the dealer makes a huge profit.

Next thing we hear, someone saying, “Oh…look at that gay boy. He has accepted Jesus Christ, isn’t that just wonderful?” Hello!

John, the gay man Donna wrote about in her article, is still gay and living in that lifestyle because someone LIED to him! They distorted, blasphemed, trashed, the Holy Word of God!

And why did they do so?

You would be so surprised, why someone would do so. It could be for money, or power and prestige, to be famous, different and outspoken. The harsh yet true reason is that there is always someone out there working an angle for their own benefit.

Somehow, some people have gotten it in their heads that they can do whatever they wish to do, say whatever they wish to say…and get away with it! Yet the REAL Word of God says, God knows the hearts of everyone.

The Holy Word of God says if you steal a stick of chewing gum, it’s still the same thing as stealing a million dollars. Both are theft and both are a sin.

“The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23a).

That verse continues on to say, “But the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.” In every sense, every action, God leaves a way out of sin, the difference is…YOU must act on it!

When John wrote Donna he was correct in saying that Jesus Christ (God) does love each and every one of us, saved to Him or not.

In God’s perfect plan for the universe, He has given us so much time, from our birth to our death. It is “what we do” during this time that matters to Him. In other words, to do something requires you to think of something first, then, you complete the task by doing it. As you can see everything we do begins with the “intent of the heart.” To that extent, we hear the Holy Word of God, the Lord then speaks to our hearts and then we either accept Him or not. Does this make sense?

For John, the truth has fallen apart, because he was lied to by someone with a different gospel to preach. This young man is still living in “unconfessed sin.” John has not accepted the Lord, or at least not the Lord of the Bible, as you and I know Him. John is still living according to his father…Satan and his ilk. He is deceived.

Leviticus 20:13: “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”

As I have stated before, don’t ya just hate those oops moments? “And the passage of Leviticus continues on to exclaim the same thing goes for women as well…It is an ABOMINATION! The Creator of the entire universe, the holy and perfect God…said so! If by chance, that does not fit your way of life and you are considerably annoyed by it, talk to God about it!

Now, we have stated everything thus far concerning this issue; there must be a formal way of putting it to rest. God said it, we understand that many do NOT like that and now they know to whom they should voice their counter-opinion to. Go directly to God. The address is Prayer, Knee-mail.

Please, be careful where you stand, most people hate the side-effects of collateral damage. Yes my friends, I am making light of that situation! Why? It scares the living willies out of me to just think about that situation, as it should you.

It is our responsibility to bring the message of salvation to as many as are willing to hear it, that my friends is called the Great Commission. The Lord God expects all of us to be working in that field of endeavor, for HIM. He, the Lord God Almighty is the Electricity and the Light Bulb and we are the lamp shade. HE is supposed to shine through us, remember? To the point where no one sees you and me, only Jesus Christ.

John the Baptist said:

“Then there arose a question between some of John’s disciples and the Jews about purifying. And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him. John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:25-30).

My friends and even those that do not like me or what I say in these articles, there is only one way off this planet…that is to DIE. The only other exception would be the Rapture. Either way, all will stand before Jesus Christ. You will hear, “Welcome home son/daughter”…OR…”Get thee behind me you worker of iniquity” and that will mean hell for eternity. That is IT! There are no other avenues or ways to God. It must be through the blood of Jesus Christ or you are doomed for eternity. Again, if you don’t like that…PLEASE…by all means necessary, take it up with God Almighty.

If by some way or somehow, you have been told there are many ways to God, call them a liar and RUN AWAY! Then drop to your knees and ask the Lord God to forgive you of your sin and cover you in the Blood of Jesus Christ from the cross at Calvary. That is the only route of survival!

John…if you read this, please realize you are deceived, my friend! You are NOT walking with the Lord Jesus Christ-you are stuck in your sin and there is a consequence for doing so. People have lied to you for whatever reason and the Lord will deal with them on a very special level of His own terms. But YOU John, need to find a true believer of Jesus Christ, and heed the correct gospel just as Donna Wasson wrote.

Anything else will have you living an eternal death sentence, that has no end. There is no probation period, there is no backing-up and doing it all over again, finally…there is NO HOPE for you! There will never be a reprieve for you! Say all the “Hail Mary’s and Our Fathers” that you can and it will do you NO good at all, you will never know freedom again, you will never know happiness or contentment or love ever again. It is the end! YOUR end and YOU asked for it, YOU chose it! Think again while you still have the time!

John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
