Know the Truth and Believe It

Just wondering here, since I have had so few responses to my Previous articles, mostly because they were about “Our Sin”, which few want to discuss. Still as yet, it is our Sin that stands between God and all of us. That being a fact, far too many are still on the outside, as far as a relationship with the Lord goes. Back to what I was wondering about, How do you feel about Heat?!

I have stated before, when I was young, my Mom and Dad would take us kids to a Texas Tent Revival. And I remember it was blazing hot! I would venture to guess, it was some where between 90 degrees to 105 degrees, during the summer. Everyone was sitting in the chairs and melting, hand-fans everywhere and waving continuously. I would look across the field the tent was on and watch the heat rolling across the ground, evidence of the extreme heat.

I also remember, living in the Philippines, as well as Southeast Asia, where the temps could easily reach 90-100 degrees and the humidity would be above 85 %. I recall, there would be a morning rain and then a small cloud would hang out, reaching to about mid-thigh. Everything was sickeningly wet and the sweat would roll off you in sheets. Hence the special clothing the Military would provide for you, yet the only True relief would be a cold shower. It was almost unbearable!

All of this was extreme heat and the only respite would be a cool breeze, but do you realize, just how hot it will be in Hell?! The Holy Word of God tells us;

Matthew 13:49-50 describes the angels seperating the evil from the good and throwing the evil into “the furnace of fire”. Luke 16:23-24 describes a sinner in Hell asking Abraham to “send Lazarus , that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame”. Revelation 9:2 describes the bottomless pit as having “a smoke of a great furnace”.

Evidently, Hell is a really Hot place, to say the least! And I am not talking about a heat, as you or I have ever experienced here on earth. How about the story of “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.”

Daniel 3:19 “Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.”

Now that my Friends…is HOT! But along side that, it will never be as hot as Hell or the Lake of Fire! Now having stated that, Hell and the Lake of Fire is not somewhere anyone would want to go! And yet the Word of God states that, this is where the Majority of humanity will definitely go to! And then to think, they chose this for themselves!

Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find it.”

If FEW there be that find it, does this mean that the majority of people will NOT find the small Path to the Narrow Gate?! You already know that this is the Truth…God said it…that settles it! What else does the Word of God say about Hell and the Lake of Fire?!

Luke 13:27-28 “But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.”

This is NO Joke my Friends! Hell and the Lake of Fire are worse than anyone is able to conceive in their mind and yet they will still go there, because of their unbelief in Jesus Christ! Here’s some more to think about;

Matthew 13:41-13 “The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.”

Did you notice, the last sentence is “Who hath ears to hear, let Him/Her hear!?” Again, this is NO Joke at all, it is the plain Truth from the lips of Jesus Christ…God! God can NOT stand sin in HIS presence, all Sin is sent to Hell. What you must understand here is this, it is people that have NOT accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, that have turned their back on the Holy Word of God and HIS invitation for Salvation…that are going to Hell. It was and is, their choice! Don’t be one of them!!

There is one other thing to consider here, There is NO HOPE in Hell…and it will last for Eternity!

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.”

Only those that have given their life to Jesus Christ and had their Sin covered by HIS Precious Blood, from the Cross of Calvary, will go to Heaven for Eternity. Everyone else will go to Hell! That my friends, is the bottom line to know and believe! I don’t care what anyone else tells you, read the Holy Word of God for yourself…and KNOW the TRUTH! Then decide for yourself…your Eternity depends on that!

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
