God’s Delusion vs. Ourselves

Matthew 24:9-12 “Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”

Matthew 24:37-39 “But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

A rather, sobering look at humanity, as back in the Days of Noah and then in today’s activities of people. Does this comparison, ever cause us to think seriously of our actions, some 4000 years later (about)? And it is not about how many years ago these things took place, but rather…WHAT…took place and by whom, then we must consider what happened to these people. Please keep in mind, that the Lord never sleeps and is always aware of the “Intent of Everyone’s Heart.”

I am reminded that, the first Passage of Scripture above, is playing out before our eyes today. For lack of a better way to say it, people across this Nation, as well as the entire world, are committing the same actions as in the days of Noah. And then we must take into account the years that the Word of God, has been available to everyone. Obviously…few have been reading the Word of God, otherwise they would see themselves!

Statues being removed, people fighting against Prayer…anywhere, and onto disrespect for the Flag in this Nation, disrespect for the National Anthem and this is because THEY are somehow Offended! The next action is then hatred and no one is currently positive as to the actual offense and by whom. Does this make you wonder why this is taking place, or make you wonder whom is at fault, or could it be a general apathy by all people? Activism is normal for this Country of ours, for at least the last 240 years or so. Our Country was founded in 1776 due to activism by the general population of that time.

I am reminded, that the Activism back then, was very different in root, than that of people today. Back then, the people wanted Freedom of Religion, freedom to express the desires of the people as a whole, as a growing Nation. Today, the emphasis is almost entirely on the promotion of self, what “I” want, what “I” should get. As in previous articles…”It’s all about ME!” Do you think for one moment, that in the Days of Noah, the thoughts of the people were any different, than they are today? What’s that saying…”If you want things to change, just give it 20 years?” I do understand, that was mostly in the Fashion/Fad Industry, yet if we look back, it comes true in many ways. Again, I must say, it has been in the Word of God all these years!

How different everything would be, had everyone read the Word of God and adhered to what it says. And so, I must go on and repeat the words of 2 Timothy 3;

2 Timothy 3:1-7 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

I hear this in the news everyday, I see it in our Churches, in our Pastors and we then wonder what all the Holla-ba-loo is all about! What’s the saying, “Live and let live?” I have never once read a single Passage of Scripture that says that, have you?! And so we read the Bible about God’s Great Delusion.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”

2 Thessalonians 2:11 “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie”

It’s worse than the Plague back in the Middle Ages! Hey, even the Smithsonian Institute will not acknowledge the Giants of old, even with the bones in their possession. Think about it ya’ll…! So now we are looking at ourselves and wondering…why is all this stuff taking place?! Because the Lord God said so…that’s the name of that game! HIS Delusion…on the people that do not follow HIM! That do NOT believe in HIM or HIS Holy Word the Bible! And these same people will scoff at you and call you crazy! REALLY?!

Every time I see these things taking place, it gives me cause to be afraid for them! They have the same Bible as I do and yet they won’t read it and then think about! When I see the Illnesses, the Wrecked Marriages and resulting children making bad decisions, wars, unrest and hatred, God’s Delusion pops into my head! When I hear from some about their Intellect and high Education, yet their lives are falling apart around their ears…I wonder! They believe they can never be “Deluded” about anything!

It is sad, to say the least, when good people become bad people. They are not able to see it any other way! It becomes one of those “WHOA” moments for me! The one statement that I have heard quite often is…”I have my own beliefs!” Personally speaking, I prefer to listen to the Lord and Believe on HIM alone! Of course, we will become fewer and fewer for believing so, as the times roll on! All we need to do, is reread the Passages of Scripture as above. The answers are there in Black and White!

The single point of this article is to show, that our propensity for ourselves has grown exponentially! And now we see where our Children are the exact same way, the question is…WHY?! The Lord God tells us in HIS Holy Word, that HE is to be first in our lives!

Exodus 20:3-4 “Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.”

Do you think, that this Passage of Scripture in the Ten Commandments, could possibly include how we look at ourselves?! Could we today, as in the Days of Noah, be setting ourselves up to Fail?! Ya Think?! If we are willing to follow The Lord God, do you think there would be more Blessings for us from HIM?! So what would be the result, if we chose to raise ourselves up about the Lord God?! Is that not what Satan did, in the beginning?! And so now, if we are doing the same thing, whom do you think we are following?! And then what will be our end?! Where will we go, as we enter Eternity?! I must wonder, how crazy do people think I am now, because I follow the Lord God and HIS Holy Word?!

I know in a way, I am Preaching to the Choir! At the same time, if one person reads this and then wonders about his/her final destination in Eternity…it’s worth it! That is what the Lord asks of me.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
