Are You Missing All the Little Stuff?!

Since the day, I began expounding God’s Holy Word on the internet, I waited for a particular question to arrive in my Email Box, it has finally come. I would like to paraphrase this email some, if I may;

“I am born-again and I have been watching everything that is going on in this world and it keeps getting worse and worse. And yet, I keeping watching for the Rapture to take place, I keep watching for HIS return for us. I am getting old and am now wondering if that day is really going to come or not.”

I can honestly feel this persons despair. I am also able to agree with her on almost every point, because as we know it, things are getting worse. It is Heart-rending to sit back and watch as this world collides fully with that of the hatred Satan and his ilk have for us. It is difficult to read and see how Satan and his ilk have so deceived the occupants of this world, to the lowest levels ever conceived for humanity. What is even worse, if one of those involved in this debauchery of life, is one of your own.

To many of the Born-Again, this is most worrisome to see and the idea of “Calling Satan and his ilk” to task for what they have destroyed, can be more scary than first perceived. “If they can do this to one of mine, what will happen if I cause them (Satan) more degradation?” And so we see that to every action there is a possibility of an equal or more horrendous reaction. Evidence that one must have the Lord on their Side before any such attempt. One must never try anything of this sort without the Lord’s express call to do so. Although Satan and his ilk are our enemies, they do indeed have power.

Power in and of itself…is nothing. It is the perception in the minds of an individual, that makes them think…they have power. The question always is, What kind of power? Real Power, as with the Lord God Almighty, is the ability to see everything in real-time, everywhere all at once and to know everything. That is real Power! On the other hand, Satan and his ilk use the best tool they have to win over people to their side…deception, to deceive and bewilder, to create a conundrum in thinking.

If this does not set well with you, you might look at Hollywood and work out from there, the signs are already there and most Prominent. To follow Jesus Christ…who IS God…is to change that format altogether, to walk a different path, with a different end event. That my Friends is what Satan and his ilk want to make sure you never have.

I love to take certain passages of Scripture and show them as they are written and then watch to see if other people are able to see it as well. For example;

Matthew 24:43-44 “But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.”

This example is almost too perfect, simply because far too many never read it and then re-read it and understand exactly what it means. Satan and his ilk love to make sure you miss the little words like “Few” and in this Verse above, it is the little word, with three letters, “Not”.

To truly understand this, lets go back in time some. John of Patmos was a Disciple of Jesus Christ and was given the task to write “Revelation” in the Bible, because what he saw…was real. And yet we know the Disciples of Jesus were ordinary men, salt of the earth, right? It must be apparent then, that the Lord God Almighty loves to use the ordinary people and HE loves to use the Little words as well. I am sure you remember what the Lord said when it came to the “Meek”? Cause to wonder…right?

So now lets flash-forward in time, to today. Lets take a less than desired moment and reflect on the things taking place all around us in this world. The Debauchery, the chaos and the violence are everywhere, am I not correct? And so every once in a while, we may see a tiny glimmer of hope, things have the possibility of turning around…quickly though, it is dashed to pieces. And with that we turn a sad face.

“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think NOT the Son of man cometh.”

Now notice it says, “In such and Hour”. The Word of God does not say in such a day, or in such a moment…it says in such an HOUR! There is a clue! Do you understand that and see it for yourself? This is significant people…”in such an HOUR…as you Think NOT…the Son of Man COMETH!”

Let’s go back a little and look at a few things;

“The Last Days…or…the End of Days”

“The Day of the Lord”

“In such an HOUR…as ye think NOT”

“In the Twinkling of an Eye”

What part of “Meek” do you not understand? Ya want another one, do you remember the one in the Bible that says, Mark 10:25 “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.”

Whoa!!! Did I miss something here or what?! Everything that is small, usually un-noticable, innoctous, now can you say MEEK? Or then how about what the Lord Jesus Christ says of himself, Matthew 11:29 “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”

Wow!! This blows my Mind…everytime I read them! Everything is meek and mild, I did NOT say a whimp! Everything is small, as in size, as in Power, as in letters making words! This is crazy stuff ya’ll…!!! PLEASE….take note of these…stretch them out in your mind and let them settle there and stay! If ya need “Pomp and Circumstance” FIRST…it’s actually worthless!!

All of a sudden, I hear…”The Honorable such-n-such” and they feel they must show-off their position, otherwise you may not see it for yourself…or even consider them “Honorable”. Ooooops!!

Why does the Word of God ask you to go into a “Closet” and Pray to your Father in Heaven?

Why does the Word of God tell you to “Come as you are?!”

Do you ever get the point from the Word of God, that there is something significant with “Humility?!”

Come on people, The American Indians used War-Paint “Makeup” to disguise themselves, so the evil spirits would not recognise them! This is obviously a lesson is real Life and not just for the Indians ya’ll! When you are at your Lowest, the world wouldn’t take a second look at you! Your down-trodden, Hungry, poor and naked…Suddenly the Lord God Almighty is there!!

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
