Tomorrow

Tomorrow
By Dennis Huebshman

There was a sign posted at a new car dealer that said, “Brand new fully-loaded vehicle ½ price tomorrow.” A man waited one day and went into the dealership to buy that vehicle. The salesman smiled and said, “Yes but it isn’t “tomorrow” yet.” Guess you figured by now it would always be available – tomorrow.

This is similar to anyone who tries to set a date and hour for Jesus to return and take His Church Home in the Rapture. People in the past have set dates and others actually listened and believed them. Some gave away everything and quit jobs in preparation for the event, but as you are well aware it hasn’t happened yet. This left some very disappointed people. Thing is, it could be tomorrow or today even, but Jesus said for us to work until He comes. (Luke 12:32; 43) Blessed are those slaves whom their master finds alert when He returns.

Jesus said I tell you the truth, he (the master) will dress himself to serve and have them take their place at the table and will come to wait on them.

If you are right with the Lord, that is you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, you will be ready when the “Twinkling of an eye” takes place. (1 Corinthians 15:52)

While Jesus was on this earth as a man, He said even He did not know the day or hour. (Matthew 24: 32-39.)

Now learn the parable from the fig tree – when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves you know that summer is near. So, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. Truly I say to you this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. But of that day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels of heaven nor the Son, but the Father alone. For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day that Noah entered the ark. And they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away. So will the coming of the Son of man be.

That was while He was human. He purposely gave up some divine traits in order to be fully human. Ministered by the Holy Spirit through His human life as God ministered to prophets of the Old Testament. Once the sacrifice was fulfilled, all His heavenly powers came back in full force never to be weakened again.

Establish a relationship with Jesus. Talk to Him daily and ask for the ability to love Him even more. Romans 10:17 says Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of the Lord. May be a bit awkward at first, but over time it becomes very natural. Jesus said He did not come to the earth to save the saved, but the lost. God Hates Sin! However, He loves His creation which is us. He will give us what we need to be with Him when our life here is done.

This doesn’t mean you won’t ever sin again, because Paul in Romans 3:23 says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Thing is, you can rest assured you can be forgiven of your sins if you follow 1 Joh 1: 8-10.

Romans 5:1: Therefore, having been justified by FAITH, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We are saved by GRACE not our works. As I have said before, our works are like filthy garments in the Lord’s eyes. (Isaiah 64:6)

Matthew 6:24 tells us that Jesus said not to be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself. This takes away one of the devil’s tools to use against you. Ignorance is bliss to the devil! The Holy Spirit will allow you to be fed more each day as you are able to take in the word of the Lord. Satan would like you to believe you could never get close to God because you are so sinful. He also tells you there is plenty time to repent. Just Remember, Satan is the master of lies.

Call on the name of the Lord TODAY, or you could have a very miserable Tomorrow.
