Condemned but Saved By Dennis Huebshman Romans 8:1-8; “There is therefore now no condemnation for…
The King is Coming!

Isaiah 9:6-7, “For to us a child is born; to us a Son is given (Jesus); and the government shall be on His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor; Mighty God; Everlasting Father; Prince of Peace. (7) Of the increase of His government, and of peace, there will be no end; on the throne of David, and over His kingdom; to establish it and uphold it, with justice and with righteousness, from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of Hosts will do this.” (emphasis is mine)
In 2 Samuel 7:16, God promised David, “And your house and your kingdom shall be made sure forever before Me. Your throne shall be established forever.” The Father was letting David know that the Messiah would come from His lineage, and would rule in Jerusalem, even past the end of the age on this earth. Jesus is the fulfillment of that covenant, as His earth parents were both in the blood-line of David. David was nowhere near a perfect person, and committed some serious sins. However, he never failed to accept responsibility for his actions, and asked forgiveness from the Father.
In order to keep the Savior’s blood pure for the perfect sacrifice, Joseph’s and Mary’s “blood” could not be in the baby, or Jesus would have inherited the “sin-nature” of humans that went all the way back to the Garden of Eden. The Holy Spirit planted the “fully-human/fully-God” seed within Mary, who was a virgin. Joseph’s name would give Jesus credibility; and Mary’s body provided the container for the developing new born. As for the physiology involved all the way to the birth of the “infant” in Bethlehem, we know that a fetus’ blood does not mix with the mother’s. Therefore, God would have made sure there was no contamination due to any other “human blood” in His Son.
The sacrifice had to be perfect. Therefore, the blood unblemished, and the “Lamb” would have to have lived a sinless life. Only God could do this, as nothing is impossible with Him. For anyone who says Jesus never claimed to be God, please read John 10:30, “The Father and I are One.” For anyone who thinks anyone but Jesus never sinned, please read Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God”.
Moving along, the first arrival of the Messiah was strictly to provide the means by which all humans could receive salvation. Nothing we can do on our own could ever meet the absolute requirement of purity that the Father demands. By accepting the Savior and His free gift that He paid for us in full at Calvary, we become “washed in the blood of the Lamb”, and we are then acceptable by the Father. Not for anything we can do, but by everything Jesus did for us. (Romans 10:9-13)
It’s fitting that the first to be able to see Jesus were shepherds in a nearby field, when the Angels proclaimed the Blessed event to them. They were able to see the Lamb of God that would provide an “eternal” Passover for all who would accept Him. Abraham was spared from sacrificing Isaac with the blood of a ram, and the Israelites were set free through the blood of innocent lambs. The Heavenly Father completed Abraham’s sacrifice by sending His Own “Unblemished Lamb”, Jesus the Christ. No animal or other human could ever provide a totally pure sacrifice that could save us from eternal condemnation.
Between now, and His actual second touch-earth appearance, we have the opportunity to avoid a terrible 7-year Tribulation that will involve the whole earth. All who call on Jesus to be their Savior will be saved. (Acts 2:21 and Romans 10:13) When Jesus comes to remove all believers world-wide, only those going up to meet Him in the air will actually see Him. It will be an event called the “Rapture”, that by estimation due to Paul’s description, will take place in less than one second. We will then be with Jesus for the next 7-years preparing for His Glorious return.
The event in Revelation 1:7 that says, “Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him, and all the tribes of the earth will wail on account of Him. Even so, Amen.” This is the physical coming of Jesus to set foot on this earth after about 2000 years. Revelation 19:11 says, “Then I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a White Horse. The One sitting on it is Called Faithful and True (Jesus), and in righteousness He judges and makes war.”
This will be the actual return of our Savior to put down the Tribulation with just a word, and to rule from the throne in Jerusalem for 1000 years. The armies of heaven (Revelation 19:14) will be those who were taken up before the wrath – that’s us! We won’t be there to do battle, but to witness the power of the Lion, Tribe of Judah. He is Lord of Lords, King of Kings, and no longer a sacrificial Lamb. That debt has been paid.
Bill and Gloria Gaither have written some wonderful inspirational songs, and one that paints a really great picture of that day is, “The King is Coming!” For believers, it will be a time to cherish.
Verse 1: “The market place is empty; no more traffic in the streets. All the builder’s tools are silent; no more time to harvest wheat. Busy housewives cease their labors; in the courtroom no debate. Work on earth has been suspended; as the King comes through the gate.”
Chorus: “The King is Coming; The King is Coming! I just heard the trumpet sounding, and now His face I see! The King is Coming; The King is Coming! Praise God, He’s coming for me!”
Verse 2: “Happy faces line the hallways; those whose lives have been redeemed. Broken homes that He has mended; those from prison He’s set free. Little children and the aged; hand-in-hand stand all aglow. Those who were crippled, broken, ruined; clad in garments white as snow.”
Verse 3: “I can hear the chariots rumble; I can see the marching throng. And the flurry of God’s trumpets; spell the end of sin and wrong. Regal robes are now unfolding; Heaven’s grand stands all in place. Heaven’s choir is now assembled, start to sing “Amazing Grace!”
Chorus – followed by – “Praise God, He’s coming for Me!”
Can you just picture the ones that remained faithful, and those who will come to Jesus during the Wrath having a total sense of relief and pure Joy? All who were taken up before that time will be seeing justice that will last for the next 1000 years followed by eternity on the new earth that will be created. No more evil; no more death – ever!
Those of us who were raptured, will have had our remarkable face-to-face with the Savior about 7-years earlier. No matter what anyone may think, I believe it will be an experience that will take at least that long for me to even be able to speak again. My desire is to totally bow down at His feet, and thank Him for saving me; and then ask His forgiveness for the pain I personally caused Him. After all, it was my sin, that He went to the Cross to cover. He suffered, and I get a new “forever” body and sin-free mind set. I don’t believe through all of eternity I will cease from praising Him and thanking Him.
My belief is, I don’t think I will be alone with this praise and worship of Our Savior. In fact, over the years, I have learned, I don’t want to worship Him only one or two hours a week. I don’t want to go to some “religious service” that doesn’t preach the truth. I firmly believe in John 14:6 that tells me Jesus is the only way I can have salvation. It has become my “life-verse”. He is on my mind and in my heart daily. He is my best friend, and I am looking forward to the Call! This is a “believer’s relationship” with Jesus, not religion. There are too many false prophets out there giving faux messages, and they are being controlled by satan. They will pay dearly when the time comes.
If you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, He’s waiting for your call. He will never force anyone to come to Him, but He will turn no one away either. It’s a free-will choice. To not accept Jesus prior to your last breath on this earth is to have a place that will be prepared for you in the Lake of Fire with satan and his demons. (Revelation 20:11-15)
This is not meant to be a scare-tactic; it is meant to provide truth. The path is straight and narrow (Matthew 7:13-14), but those who take it will never hear the Savior say, “Depart from Me, I never knew you!” (Matthew 7:21-23) When you truly accept Him, He will prepare a place for you in Heaven. (John 14:1-3) Call today, He could be gathering up His Church at any time. All the signs given by Jesus and the other end-time prophets is here, now. Only God knows the exact minute, but consider He’s giving you time to accept Him so you won’t have to be lost in the wrath. (2 Peter 3:9) Tomorrow could be too late!
Come Lord Jesus!
