Prelude to Tribulation
By Dennis Huebshman
Hate. Turn on TV and it’s there, all over the faux news that we get today Look on social media and it’s there. We have elected officials that are supposed to be representing our country, yet are actually inciting people to riot and commit other illegal acts; and so far they are getting away with it.
In all my time on this earth, I have never heard calls for the assassination of our President and others as is prevalent today. It’s like the Barry McGuire song of the 1960’s “Eve of Destruction”. At that time America was in the middle of the Viet Nam demonstrations, however, I don’t recall any of our elected officials being threatened with death over it.
To say it’s gotten out of hand is a huge understatement. Every time there’s a major or tragic event, the news blows it up, giving way too much publicity to the criminals. This only invites copy-cat people to try and top what has just been done. It’s almost become a glamourous challenge.
So-called Tv and movie celebrities have gone out of their way to get in on the free publicity. I wonder just how many would continue in their hate filled rhetoric if arrests started happening, and serious jail time issued.
So, here’s my thought on all of this. I believe the laws we currently have on the books need to be enforced against ALL who violate them, no matter who they are. It’s time for our leaders, especially the President, to declare that any more threats or other actions will be met with the strictest law enforcement tools available. The nation’s Law Enforcement leaders need to comply to the fullest extent, and the courts comply with speedy and efficient trials.
This would include so-called “sanctuary cities” for illegals. All who sponsor such places are violating the law. Several congress women and men, governors, mayors and any other “official” involved are openly breaking the law. To even insinuate an illegal has the right to vote is ludicrous, and it must be said – especially to a couple of congress women – Illegals Do Not Have Constitutional Rights!
For worshippers in a Jewish Synagogue to be murdered in an indiscriminate manner is totally beyond tragic – it’s pure evil. Then to have a moment of silence for the victims disrupted by “radical protestors” is way over the line. One shining light in all this tragedy is a report the Muslim community immediately started donating funds as a show of unity. People of different beliefs can get along if they choose to do so.
Now for the real eye-opener; the coming Tribulation will be a far more terrible time than what we’re experiencing today. Jews and Christians will be openly hunted, and anyone who kills them will be doing a service to the New World Leader – the antichrist. Just to buy a loaf of bread, one must have taken the “loyalty mark” (Revelation 13:16) of the beast, yet by doing so will condemn them to the Lake of Fire forever. Think just for a minute; is your soul worth a loaf of bread?
The signs of the times of the end are all here. I believe the outcome of the last Presidential election was a way for the Father to slow down the inevitable downward slide a bit, and give people more time to be saved. (2 Peter 3:9) He was totally in control. He will proceed with the wrath and punishment of this earth right after His Son takes All Believers Home, and at a time designated by Him. (2 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:50-53)
We are not privy to the day or hour, but nothing prophetic needs to be completed before the Rapture takes place. What’s sad is, with all the warnings, people still don’t believe, but are caught up in satan’s lies. The world means more to them than having to think of eternity. It’s so easy to gain the assurance of an eternal home in Heaven. The difficulty is believing it is real. Also, it’s offered without anyone being able to earn or buy it. This was taken care of at Calvary for all of us – all that will truly accept it.
If all the events of violence and unrest in the world are really a concern to you, please go to Romans 10:9 for your saving formula. Confess you believe Jesus is your Savior and let Him know you are a sinner in need of Him; believe He died on the cross for our sins and that the Father raised Him from the dead to conquer sin and death for all believers.
Next, go to John 14:6 that tells us Jesus is the only way to the Father, not the many ways spoken of by false prophets. Also, Acts 2:21 and Romans 10:13 gives us the assurance that ALL who call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
You can do a formal personal prayer if you wish, or just ask Him for forgiveness and salvation. You don’t even have to express it out loud because He knows our every thought. He would like for you to talk to Him regularly (prayer) and to read His love-letter that He gave us (Bible).
Just be sure to make the main thing, the main thing, by having Jesus in your life. God loves us all as demonstrated in John 3:16 and Romans 5:8. Once you have accepted, truly accepted Jesus, He will never let go of you. You can avoid the Tribulation by calling out to Him, and it would be wise to do so before another hour passes. It could be today that He comes, we just don’t know. If you’re ready, it won’t matter when. Going through the Tribulation is so unnecessary.
Maranatha – Shalom!
