Never Enough

Never Enough
By Dennis Huebshman

Let it never be said, “No one ever told me…”. With that in mind, here’s some verses: (any emphasis is mine)

1 Corinthians 1:25-31 – “For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. (26) For consider your calling, brothers, not many were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many of noble birth. (27) But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; (28) God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, (29) so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. (30) And because of Him, you are in Christ Jesus, who became, to us, wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, (31) so that as it is written, let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

Before going further, I must admit that I see a whole bunch of “me” in this as the way I was before I came back to my Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. Over the past 30 plus years, I have found myself taken down several notches from my previous “self-proclaimed” importance. In fact, I do not wish to take credit for any of these messages as they are inspired by the Father, and I give Him all the praise, glory and honor for allowing me to post them. My prayer is they reach all who He wants to connect with and cause them to accept Jesus before it’s too late.

Moving on, John 8:32 – “You shall know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall set you free.”

John 8:36 – “If the Son therefore sets you free, you shall be free indeed.”

John 14:6 – “Jesus said, I am the Way, the TRUTH and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through Me”. Pure Truth – Pure Straight and Narrow.

To add to this, John 3:18 – “The one who believes in Him (Jesus) is not condemned. The one who does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the one and only Son of God.”

1 John 5:12 – “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life”.

Luke 15:7 – “I will tell you, in the same way there will be more Joy in Heaven over one sinner who repents than 99 righteous people who have no need to repent.” My goal is to get all the Angels in Heaven “Hollerin and Shoutin”!

Checking out what we have here so far, man is not smarter than the Lord, no matter what satan tries to tell you. One way to get closer to the Father is to admit we’re all helpless and hope-less without Him. He did not create us to have someone He could show how stupid we can be – that is unless we try to show Him we are in charge.

Everyone should realize God loves us so much, He sent a very important part of Himself to provide the means of our being “clean and holy” in His sight, even though we are far from it. Matter of fact, on this earth, we will not even come close on our own. He will allow anyone who thinks they don’t need Him to do things their way, however, upon exiting this earth, they will be separated from Him Forever! Once the last breath is taken here, eternity is decided. As a commercial of the past said, “Smoking or Non-smoking”. There’s no third option.

Some things Christians – true believers of all walks of life – know for sure are; a.) Jesus really came to this earth, and through total submission to the Father became the perfect sacrifice for all sin. b.) He really died on the cross. The human part went to the grave for 3 days, while the Spirit of the Lord was immediately with the Father. C.) His “glorified” human body arose that beautiful first Easter morning, and after about 40 days ascended into heaven. This was to show we will also have glorified bodies made to last all of eternity.

Note: though it’s not an easy concept to understand, His fully Human side was subject to all the feelings and emotions you and I have. His fully God side was capable of changing the outcome at any time. However, as Hebrews 2 tells us, He “allowed” Himself to become a bit lower than the Angels for a time, and this was to be able to provide the needed “blood-sacrifice” from the Perfect Lamb of God, which we could never do ourselves. No other human that ever lived or will ever live on this earth is able to live a sinless life as He did. We are born of a sin nature compliments of the sin in the Garden of Eden. Jesus was “placed” into a virgin vessel by the Holy Spirit so as not to have man’s sinful blood within Him. If He had sinned even once during His life on this earth, we would still be lost in our sins with no reprieve. His pure blood paid the price for ALL who will accept Him. Again, I emphasize, He will not force anyone to accept this wonderful free gift as that would not be true love.

We know He will come again to take His Church – All believers, not a particular organized religion – Home to be kept from the Wrath. God is not slow about His promises even though about 2000 years have passed since the sacrifice. (2 Peter 3:9) Bear in mind, this is about 2 minutes for the Father. He’s not bound by the time He created for us. He knows the “day and hour” right down to the second – which by the way is all the time needed to complete the Rapture.

I would love to state here that the majority of the world would be gone after the Rapture, or “Taking Up” occurs. Sadly, that’s not the case. Jesus, Himself, knew it would be just the opposite according to Matthew 7:13-14 reference the Straight and Narrow way. At the present time, the estimate is about 10% of the entire world’s population of about 7 billion are “Rapture-Ready”. According to some sources, this estimate may be a bit high and between 7% and 9% is closer to being accurate. Of God’s chosen people (Jews) worldwide it’s even less as the estimate is between 1% and 2% are Messianic. That leaves a whole lot of souls to go through the 7-year Wrath.

At this point, I freely admit I am of the Pre-Tribulation Rapture persuasion. There are some who are Mid-Tribbers, and some that don’t believe in a Rapture at all. Some even believe we are already in the Millennium, however Jesus has not come and set up His throne in Jerusalem yet.

In numerous places in the New Testament, we are told by the God-Inspired writers that we will not go through the Wrath – Period. The Wrath does not start at the 6th Trumpet Judgment as Mid-Tribbers profess. If this were so, Christians will have been subjected to the Wrath for about 3 ½ years, and God will not have spoken the truth. The trumpet spoken of in 1 Thessalonians 4 is an “announcing” trumpet, not a “Judgment” trumpet. The Wrath starts with the opening of the First Seal to release the rider on the white horse which is the anti-christ. (Revelation 6) Jesus, is the person opening this seal, and He will already have His Church Home at that time. In a previous message, I listed all the Wrath verses, and for this message it would be far to long.

However, God published them in His Holy Word, and I believe what He said. He cannot lie (Titus 1:2), and His promises are perfect. It’s up to each of us to believe or not.

If one looks around, it’s not difficult to see we are “in the season” spoken of by our Savior, Paul and others. He will be coming soon, and for the unprepared, now would be a good time to make a decision. After the call, it will still be possible to accept Jesus, but with restrictions and at a very heavy price.

Returning to an earlier statement, you can either accept Jesus and be with Him forever, or reject Him and be in eternal darkness and punishment in the Lake of Fire “Smoking or Non-smoking.” Your Choice.
