Legitimate Warnings

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we were equipped with “warning lights”, such as are on our vehicle’s dash, that would activate until corrective action was taken? Guess what; we have warning indicators, and an “owner’s manual” that gives everything needed to make “repairs”. In fact, the instructions given in the manual are designed to keep us “running” forever. To disregard this manual is tantamount to setting our souls up for the “eternal junkyard”. (all emphasis mine)

For many of you, it’s obvious what I’m referring to. However, for someone who is just tuning in that is fairly new at end-time issues; repairs, salvation, eternity and prophecies are possibly a bit overwhelming.

The “vehicle” I’m speaking of is our “Immortal Soul” that is inside our earthly bodies that has many stages of use and abuse. This is the “actual us” which is contained in an outer shell. Some are very healthy bodies, and run very efficiently. They get fed the right “fuels”, have the right genes, and may last quite a while. Some, but not many, will actually exist to 100 years or even a bit further. This is the exception, not the rule. Also, while 100 may seem like a long time, it’s really only a drop in the ocean.

There are the “normal” bodies that are expected to live, “…threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength, they be fourscore years; yet is their strength, labor and sorrow; for it is cut off, and we fly away.” (Psalm 90:10) A score is 20, therefore threescore is 60; plus 10 equals 70. If some are above normal, they may go to fourscore or 80 years. I’m in between the last two figures.

Then there are those who, because of disease, accident, self-destruction such as suicide, or physical defects, will most likely live a much shorter life span. When I worked as a Cardio-Pulmonary Technician in hospitals quite a few years ago, I witnessed death at every age from “preemies” (neonates) to centenarians (over 100 years). No matter when the body ceased to function, I believe those who were aware of their situation believed it was “too early”. For those who have not reached “age of accountability”, it’s believed their souls go to be with Jesus immediately. There are no biblical passages that specifically says what that “age” is. It would totally be an individual issue. Matthew 19:14, “…but Jesus said, let the little children come to me, and do not hinder the; for to such belongs the kingdom of Heaven.”

There are individuals that are born with mental defects that never allows them to mature or reach an accountability. Some “children” mature faster than others, and their accountability would probably be sooner. The Father knows exactly when each and every individual crosses that threshold, and we become totally responsible for our eternity. Just a note, the body dies, but the soul lives forever. More on that later.

As I said, there is an “owner’s manual” that gives us everything we need to sustain a healthy soul. As you have guessed, it’s called the Bible, and the Owner is God Himself. He has shown us through everything leading up to the birth of His Son (Old Testament); and everything needed from Jesus’ birth going all the way through His Millennial reign, to save our immortal souls.

In various places, God speaks of what are abominations to Him – always have been; always will be. We are told of the “Beginning” in Genesis; and everything that takes place until this earth is replaced with a new sinless Heaven and Earth. There will never be any “abominations” in the New Kingdom, nor those who practice them while on this earth. These are the ones who have habitual unrepented sin. All sin, except for the rejection of the Savior, can be forgiven, if one calls out for that forgiveness.

We are given prophecies to let us know what was going to happen, and all those that have already been fulfilled; all the way through what is left on the prophecy “schedule board”. Just about everything is complete except for Jesus to call His Church (All Believers) home, (Rapture) followed by a 7-year period of wrath that will be taken out on this sin-filled world. And if that isn’t enough, Jesus Himself will rule on this earth after the wrath period for 1000 years – thus the Millennium. You would think that during that 1000 years, the world would be perfect and sinless – right?

Not so, as there will be a satanic rebellion at the end of the Millennium, which will be put down by the Savior. This will be followed by a one-time judgment for all who would not follow God’s will from Creation to the Cross; and for all unbelievers from Calvary to the end of the 1000 years. That judgment is called the “Great White Throne Judgment”, and the only outcome there is the Lake of Fire given in Matthew 25:41 ,Revelation 19:20 and Revelation 20:10-15. The judgment will be the “degree” of eternal punishment each one there will receive. It’s natural to believe, satan will receive the worst punishment.

As for all believers, the first one is the Judgment Seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10) right after the Rapture. It will be for all believers from the Cross to the Rapture to receive or lose rewards. The next will be at the end of the Tribulation for all who accepted Jesus, and they will go into the Millennium with Him. The unbelievers will be sent to a “holding place” to await the White Throne. The Lake of Fire will receive it’s first occupants (antichrist and false prophet) as given in Revelation 19:20 immediately at the end of the Tribulation. Satan will be bound for the Millennium and will be released for a “short time” at the end so he can go out deceiving the world one more time He will take his place in Hell at the very beginning of the White Throne, and will join his antichrist and false prophet there.

At the end of the Millennium, all the remaining faithful followers will go into the New Eternal Kingdom to live with Jesus forever. Our current bodies are not designed to go into eternity. Our “immortal soul” is what stays alive forever, and at the proper time we will be given an immortal body to go with it. It will be made to last forever in the wonderful presence of the Lord. There will be no more defects, illness, pain, death or separation from loved ones forever. Our mind-set will be immune to any evil.

All going into Hell, will also have immortal eternal bodies, but designed for punishment, constantly, forever. Those in torment will have chosen this outcome by refusing to believe in the “owner’s manual”, and it’s righteous and just they do not reside with those who faithfully accepted and followed the instructions. The only “difficult” part about God’s instructions is ignoring satan’s deceitful lies and believing God’s word is nothing but a myth. There are many who would rather accept what this earth offers with no thought of eternity whatsoever. Also, many believe there’s many ways to heaven without Jesus. John 14:6 dispels this completely.

We are all subject to “recall” at any moment. Only those who are prepared will avoid the “eternal junkyard” called Hell. We will be in the splendor and glory of the Master Designer. His Son paid for our passage, and when we truly accept Jesus, our forever will be totally awesome!

Call on Him; confess you are a sinner (Romans 3:23); ask His forgiveness; ask Him to by your Savior forever; believe He died for our sins – My Sins! He was risen from the dead to conquer sin and death forever (Romans 10:9-13). He will send the Holy Spirit to reside in us until we leave this earth, either in death or by the Rapture.

He won’t ever force anyone to accept His free gift, but will accept all who do. You cannot buy or earn this gift (Ephesians 2:8-9), and we definitely don’t deserve it on our own merits. For all who accept Him, He will prepare a home for us (John 14:1-3). His return is soon to come as all the signs given in the Bible show just what the condition of the earth will be in just prior to His call. It’s evident with the current atmosphere today, we are right at the end of this age. Don’t hesitate, call on Him today – right now wouldn’t be too soon.
