He’s On The Way
By Dennis Huebshman
Mathew 24:5, “For many will come in My name, saying I am the Christ, and they will lead many astray.” Just recently, Louis Farrakhan claimed to be the “Messiah”, and that he was indeed “Jesus”. Further, he denied that the real Jesus even exists. He stated God doesn’t really love us. This person is extremely antisemitic, and anti-American, and definitely anti-Christian. (all emphasis mine)
Matthew 24:9-11, “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation, and put you to death; (preview of 7-year wrath) and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. (10) And then many will fall away and betray one another, and hate one another. (11) And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.” This started during Jesus’ time on earth, and is increasing rapidly in intensity today.
The radical left in this country, that has all the different letters of the alphabet, calls anyone who is a Christian a “hater”. They purposely go after known Christian businesses, and try to shut them down. As Christians, we do not hate anyone, but we do not have to accept the alternate lifestyles either. In their eyes, that makes us there enemy. In some countries, Christians are being martyred, men, women and children, almost daily, just for being Christian. Sad part is, the news media conveniently ignores this.
Main line “evangelical” churches are changing their teachings to “accommodate” the world view. This definitely was anticipated to be taking place near the end of this age. In 1 John 2:15-16, “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him/her. (16) For all that is in the world; the desires of the flesh, and the desires of the eyes, and pride in possessions; is not from the Father, but is from the world.” The false leaders of these “churches” are only out to keep the money coming in, and will change the word of the Lord to tickle people’s ears to keep them coming back.
John further states in 1 John 2:18-19; 22-23, “Children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come. (Preparing the way for the final tribulation antichrist) Therefore, we know that is it the last hour. (The end-time clock is now about 11:59p.m.) (19) They went out from us, (they were given the truth) but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would’ve continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain they all are not of us. (22) Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father, and the Son. (23) No one who denies the Son has the Father (John 14:6), but whoever confesses the Son has the Father also.”
1 John 3:8, “Whoever makes a practice (continuous/habitual) of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning (Isaiah 14:12-15). The reason the Son of God appeared, was to destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:23, “And this is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12), and love one another, just as He has commanded us.”
When Jesus was raised from the dead, satan’s end-time clock started ticking. He has been able to deceive and lead people astray, only as far as the Father has allowed. The end is near, and satan knows his time is getting short. He’s pulling out all the stops, and is going after all the souls that will turn to him. Satanic rituals and organizations are operating in the open. There are now “churches of satan”, and satanic symbols are showing up on government buildings across America. The stage is being set for the ultimate antichrist to appear.
All the issues Jesus talked about in Matthew 24, and Paul told Timothy about in 2 Timothy 3:1-6 are present today. Sadly, they are gaining ground daily; but joyfully, it signals the Rapture is very near. Jesus knew the majority would be following the worldly view and only a few would seek Him. (Matthew 7:13-14)
Besides the Rapture – taking up of all believers to meet Jesus in the air – the next event afterwards is to have the antichrist of the Tribulation appear. It should be noted, he most likely is already on this earth, but as for anyone knowing exactly who he is, it is still a mystery. He himself may not even know that he’s the antichrist either. This will be revealed when Jesus opens the First Seal as given in Revelation 6. It will be someone the devil is allowed to indwell and control through all the wrath that is given in Revelation.
Meanwhile, be aware as stated in 1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”
John warned about false prophets, and so did Peter (2 Peter 2). Peter reminds us that God is not just sitting there letting satan totally dominate us. 2 Peter 3:8-9, “But do not overlook this one fact, beloved; that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (9) The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise (He can’t lie 1 Titus 2), as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
Paul tells us in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, “The coming of the lawless one (antichrist) is by the activity of satan, with all the power and false signs and wonders (that God will allow), (10) and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth (Jesus), and so be saved. (11) Therefore, God sends them a strong delusion so that they may believe what is false, (12) in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” Today, the worship of satan is out in the open for the first time, and some churches are accepting wiccans as a legitimate members. The “we all worship the same god” statement is going way beyond reality. There is only one God, the Lord God Jehovah, creator of the Heavens and the Earth, and is composed of a trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Satan is not an actual god, but is a “created” being, just as we humans all are.
Anyone who can say they don’t see all the changes taking place today, are being blinded by satan’s lies. Everything that is happening in America, Europe, Africa, Israel and the rest of the world is right out of the pages of Bible prophecy. Jesus, Himself, said that, “Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads; because your redemption is drawing near” (Luke 21:28) All the signs began a few years ago, which now places us even closer to our redemption. We have always had the issues here, but not all at once, and not progressing as rapidly as they are today.
One prophecy expert recently said, “Events aren’t changing daily anymore – it’s hour by hour.” I gave a message recently using a Carroll Roberson song, “Any Day Now.” That message is getting more urgent daily. Soon, the Father will send His Son to call all believers up from this earth, so that the 7-year wrath/tribulation can take place. All who have accepted Jesus prior to this will be kept from the wrath. The dead in Christ will rise first, and then the living believers will be called right after them. All who are left behind will be facing the most terrible time this earth has ever seen. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-53)
What was written in Matthew 24:9 (being delivered up to be killed) will be in full force. Anyone who comes to Jesus after the rapture will be subject to martyrdom. Hatred for Jews and Christians will be even stronger than today.
To accept Jesus, follow Romans 10:9-13. Believe, Confess, have Faith and call on Him for your Salvation. Repent and turn away from habitual sin. When, not if anyone who has accepted Jesus falls short and sins; 1 John 1:8-10 has the solution. The key here is not to delay or wait until later. He could be here today.
Shalom – Come Lord Jesus!
